We went there after watching a play at the theater nearby. We hada reservation so there was no wait, butI don't think you would have to wait long as they have plenty of seating. Separated into 3 different seating areas and one of them has a stage where believe they have live music on Fridays and they can probably open up the middle to connect two of the areas. The food was very good however it is also very pricey. It's not somewhere can see myself going often. They bring you water as soon as you sit but had to request a second come 2times and the three easier still didn't remember it tooka while later he noticed he hadn't brought it yet so now ideal, but at least meet than being completely forgotten. go there again and do recommend a reservation, just in case, but definitely won't be going there often.

We're debating whether this is our second or third time coming to this restaurant went in the Boston area. It's so very good and as close to home cooking as you can get. The kibbe nayeh is absolutely fresh and delicious & Made to order. And matched with the fattosh, it can't beat. The rolled cabbage and spinach pies were very good too, but could've used a little more lemon, but overall it's such a great place and so much easier than trying to make it all yourself. In South Carolina and anytime we're closer to this area, Make a special trip to come. Will be back!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon. It was very quiet. Food was delicious, and fresh. Shout out to our server Scotty! Nicest guy; one of the best waiters we have experienced in a long time. We will be back.

After getting the doggie from the Vets we were all hungry. We arrived in Norwood center right in front of Byblos about 11.30 after deciding we wanted falafel and googling it. We don't get it often but really enjoy it and appreciate the healthiness. We were pretty much starving, so I checked the front door, and it was open already. Really clean spacious restaurant with Best of Awards for practically every year. I was greeted by a real nice gentleman who was patient with me as i ordered. He told me it takes 15 or 20 as they have to grill the chicken. I said no problem and wandered the street getting lost in the estate sale place nearby. Norwood is a cool town with lots of restaurants and other unique small businesses. We were going to bring the falafel sandwich and the chicken kabob sandwich home but couldn't resist having a bite right there in our parking spot. Game over we ate our fill there. The sandwiches are so big we couldn't' finish them but I knew they'd be finished a bit later LOL I thought they were both super tasty and excellent and even at 14 a decent value. Would go back there any time. A real classy place in every way.

Update : went back last night. Our reservations were for 7p and we were not called for our table until 7:30p. This is despite having the reservations and our entire party showing up at 7. Our server was a bit aggressive when we told him that 2 people had dropped and we now that 8 people instead of 10. It was a busy Sat night, service was super slow. Lot of wait time between course. And we had to keep asking when our next course would be served for the group was filling ourselves with pita. Music seemed more loud/blaring than the last time. It wasn't very enjoyable. We had a thought of leaving to another place but our food and check had not arrived causing a lot of delay.

Amazing food. We were watching phantom gourmet and thought the food looked amazing. So glad we took a chance. It's prob my fave restaurant that's been so close to me for many years. Shoutout to phantom gourmet and shoutout to the chef and owners of this restaurant. I will definitely be a monthly customer.

Fantastic falafels! Never had such fluffy, soft, and luscious chickpea balls as these! Definitely do not pass up getting these at Byblos. Their other items are very good too: I had kafta kabobs with rice and fattoush which were tasty; my wife and daughter had the falafels (which I now regret not ordering for myself - fortunately, they let me have a bite of theirs) along with hummus and tabouli. All items were very fresh and flavorful. Wait staff was very nice and plenty of seating both indoors and out.

Excellent experience here! Service was spot on. Our server was very sweet and the bussboys were very attentive to filing water. Even the host, an older gentleman, was very kind and welcoming. The food was amazing so tasted so fresh. The texture of the chicken was perfect and seasoned perfectly. Ambiance was great and dim lit. Would come here again if in the area!

Food was amazing! Service was amazing but we could not enjoy it because the music was sooooo loud it was painful at 96-103 decibels for two hours!!!! I am a musician and this is totally irresponsible. You are making your audience deaf! We asked nicely for it to be turned down but the older manager said, no. We couldn't even have a conversation. We spent over $250 and we will NOT return due to the loud music. Loud does not equal fun, party atmosphere.

Appetizer platter from the Mezzah for 4. Delicious!!!

Are the meat stuffed grape leaves served hot or cold? For those who know Levantine food, are they closer to yebra/yebraq or yalanji?

Currently closed till 7/2024 according to Yelp…read more But late 2022, we finally got the chance to try Fairouz's $43 Mixed Grill Plate (chicken, beef, shrimp (4 count), lamb, kafta (ground beef and lamb), served with rice, salad (simply lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes, and two portions of oil based dressing), garlic dip & hummus dip), to go. Everything came well packed, with the salad in a large plastic clam shell, two little sauce containers of each dip, two ziplock baggies of pita triangles, napkins, plastic ware, all sitting on the aluminum foil covered tray of meat and rice. Since I had been enticed by Bea's photo of this dish, I was a little disappointed at the lack of grilled vegetables. But there was salad and upon reflection, the menu made no mention of such veggies, so perhaps there's been changes over time? The rice received props from this household, and wonder at how it was flavored. The meat, though medium to well done, was tender enough, and the lamb lacked that gaminess that the non-lamb-eater among us so dislikes. The kafta and shrimp were the most strongly seasoned proteins of the bunch, and the shrimp rather juicy. Both hummus and garlic dip were good, but the garlic is indeed strong with the latter, so spread with a light hand. You can always add more to taste after all. The worst that could be said was that I wished that there had been more tomatoes in the salad, and if only they had not split the pita triangles. Pitas without their pockets are rather tougher to enjoy as self made mini sandwich bundles of all the good flavors and textures. I hope they see this and reconsider.
