Fantastic Lebanese restaurant with plenty of seating for events, yet still intimate and romantic enough for a date night. If you're driving, keep in mind it's street parking only. I'd recommend giving yourself a little extra time during busy hours. Our server was wonderful. She offered thoughtful recommendations, was attentive throughout the meal, and even wrapped up our leftovers for us. Everything we ordered was delicious and served in generous portions. If you're a fan of beef tartare, I highly recommend the Kibbee Nayye. It's beautifully prepared and served with olive oil, raw onion, fresh mint, and pita. The Family Platter #2 is also a fantastic option if you want to sample a bit of everything. Our favorites were the baba ghannouj, layered kibbee, and the super refreshing tabouli. We ended the meal with the Katayef Ashta, a pancake filled with sweet cream that reminded me of ricotta, and it was the perfect finish. We can't wait to come back! read more

Hands Down Simply the BEST! everything on the menu is cooked to perfection and delicious! i always get the Byblos Combo 2 which it chicken kabob, rice, salad add feta, grape leaves and then a side of hummus and bread! the only thing i could complain about would be the break its steak and they heat it in the micro to get it warm nope nothing is gonna save it if its steal toss it! Our server was attentive and had great recommendations. It's clearly a fine dining restaurant with reasonable prices. I am a fan of Lebanese food, but this place elevated the experience. The server mentioned that the lentil soup was amazing and he was correct. The soup was seasoned with rich vibrant Mediterranean spices. The grains in the soup added extra texture and elevated the humble soup. The kibbeh balls were fantastic. I have had kibbeh balls before, but these were the best: crispy on the outside and moist and perfectly seasoned ground meat on the inside. There were pine nuts and minced onions in the kibbeh that elevated the dish. Then came the kaftah kebabs with grilled vegetables. Those vegetables were grilled nicely. The ground beef and lamb kaftah kebabs were spectacular. So meaty! These kebabs didn't have fillers. They were beautifully seasoned, grilled nicely and moist on the inside. What a delight! We went there after watching a play at the theater nearby. We hada reservation so there was no wait, butI don't think you would have to wait long as they have plenty of seating. Separated into 3 different seating areas and one of them has a stage where believe they have live music on Fridays and they can probably open up the middle to connect two of the areas. The food was very good however it is also very pricey. It's not somewhere can see myself going often. They bring you water as soon as you sit but had to request a second come 2times and the three easier still didn't remember it tooka while later he noticed he hadn't brought it yet so now ideal, but at least meet than being completely forgotten. go there again and do recommend a reservation, just in case, but definitely won't be going there often. read more

We're debating whether this is our second or third time coming to this restaurant went in the Boston area. It's so very good and as close to home cooking as you can get. The kibbe nayeh is absolutely fresh and delicious & Made to order. And matched with the fattosh, it can't beat. The rolled cabbage and spinach pies were very good too, but could've used a little more lemon, but overall it's such a great place and so much easier than trying to make it all yourself. Also it was my birthday and they sang 2 different Lebanese style birthday songs for me, and the belly dancer pulled me up to dance with her. The food was a fixed menu of family style eating with constant amazing food coming out throughout the night. The food was fresh and tasted amazing! I was with a group of 10, the tables are round so it was perfect for conversation before the entertainment started. Cons- It was on the pricier side, for 10 people, a few only had one drink, one didn't drink, and several had a few drinks and the bill was over $1200. The place had 75% empty tables. It seemed to take a while for the show to start. Before the show, it was bright, with no background music and with all the empty tables it just felt odd. After getting the doggie from the Vets we were all hungry. We arrived in Norwood center right in front of Byblos about 11.30 after deciding we wanted falafel and googling it. We don't get it often but really enjoy it and appreciate the healthiness. We were pretty much starving, so I checked the front door, and it was open already. Really clean spacious restaurant with Best of Awards for practically every year. I was greeted by a real nice gentleman who was patient with me as i ordered. He told me it takes 15 or 20 as they have to grill the chicken. I said no problem and wandered the street getting lost in the estate sale place nearby. Norwood is a cool town with lots of restaurants and other unique small businesses. We were going to bring the falafel sandwich and the chicken kabob sandwich home but couldn't resist having a bite right there in our parking spot. Game over we ate our fill there. The sandwiches are so big we couldn't' finish them but I knew they'd be finished a bit later LOL I thought they were both super tasty and excellent and even at 14 a decent value. Update : went back last night. Our reservations were for 7p and we were not called for our table until 7:30p. This is despite having the reservations and our entire party showing up at 7. Our server was a bit aggressive when we told him that 2 people had dropped and we now that 8 people instead of 10. It was a busy Sat night, service was super slow. Lot of wait time between course. And we had to keep asking when our next course would be served for the group was filling ourselves with pita. Music seemed more loud/blaring than the last time. It wasn't very enjoyable. Fantastic falafels! Never had such fluffy, soft, and luscious chickpea balls as these! Definitely do not pass up getting these at Byblos. Their other items are very good too: I had kafta kabobs with rice and fattoush which were tasty; my wife and daughter had the falafels (which I now regret not ordering for myself - fortunately, they let me have a bite of theirs) along with hummus and tabouli. We had sooo much fun. I had been curious about this place for awhile so when my mom sent me a check for my birthday and told me I had to use it for a nice dinner this is where we went. On Fridays and Saturdays there is music and belly dancing in the music room. When you reserve a table in the music room it is $50 per person for the mezze which like a 4 course tasting menu and and the evenings entertainment. Each course was delicious. The meat was tender. The falafel was great. The cheese roll was my favorite. The waitstaff was really kind and attentive. We had a couple of cocktails which are also delicious. The concert was really fun. I don't know if it people get up and dance every time but it was a straight up party on Friday night. read more

Came here for a nice weekday dinner with the Misses and boy did this place deliver! Beautiful well lit clean dining area with plenty of space and great decoration. Started with some cheesey onion filo appetizer that was incredible and then went beef kebab, falafel for dinner. I don't know what else to say other than this food was outstanding. I am a musician and this is totally irresponsible. You are making your audience deaf! We asked nicely for it to be turned down but the older manager said, no. We couldn't even have a conversation. I love Lebanese food and I've had some great food over the years, but this is, by far, the best place I have visited. Unbelievably good! We were in Norwood visiting friends and they brought us here for a treat. My daughter and I were so happy, this place is phenomenal! They hit it right on every point. Our friend ordered the Mezzah for 4 and asked for some separate vegetarian items for himself. The waiter said that they would make him some vegetarian extras as part of the Mezzah and bring the meat dishes for the other three people. I thought that was a very nice and thoughtful accommodation. The hummus, baba ganoush, falafel and grape leaves were to die for. The beef and lamb were both succulent and juicy. I swear, if it weren't 5 hours away, I'd go again tonight! Service was excellent and they went above & beyond. We had a lot of leftovers that we were able to pack up and bring home. This was the most fun restaurant for Friday night! This by far has the best Lebanese food. Everything was fresh. We had the set dinner. It was an assortment of different appetizers and my favorite of course was the Baba ghanoush and the falafel. I also like the mixed grill ( I forgot to take a picture because I was mesmerized by the belly dancer and was so distracted while dancing.) The baklava was delicious. Our server was a very kind and suggested a good blended red wine. My favorite the whole evening was the entertainment and the belly dancer. She was so much fun to watch. I of course danced in a Lebanese circle and had the time of my life. I highly recommend this place for groups and any celebration! read more

We went there in a Sunday afternoon and not impressed by the food at all. Maybe because I never tried authentic Lebanese food before so I do not know what it should taste like, but the food in this restaurant tastes bland and none in our big group enjoyed it. The worst part is the service and our waiter. The waiter is not very friendly nor did he show any hospitality - he never smiled the entire time when interacting with us, and stared us the whole time in a very unsettling way. He never checked on how we are doing or do we need anything else. We are the only group dining in at that time since it is like 3 pm in the afternoon, so it is not like that he is so busy with customers that he is stressed out. We do not feel welcomed at all in this place and we do not recommend you going there. We feel like we were treated differently because we are not Lebanese. The Ambiance reminded me of Beirut nights, a belly dancer with live one man show that put everyone in a great festive mood and you can dance and enjoy the evening. We took the Mezze all included ($40 per person) and ordered Lebanese Ksara wine in addition. The quality and the taste of the dishes were soooo goooddd!! Like home! So I'd not order again The Mrs loves lamb, and thought it was very good I ordered 5 sides, and they were ok/good They brought a lot of thin pita, excellent But the middle eastern musicians were very good, and the dancer she was also. The Lebanese beer was fair. The server was very professional ( a man studying at Johnson-Wales) The bill for four with 2 sharing a meal was $185, but we had a couple of drinks of liquor and wine. Restaurant was very unorganized. No one to help with check in. Absolutely unorganized: they sat multiple guests who came after us just because they seemed to know them. We had a reservation, and still kept waiting despite arriving before them. Service was slow. The server gave us the dessert menu and disappeared for 15+ minutes. I had to go and request someone to service our table. When the server did show up, she was not at all apologetic. Servers and restaurant's behavior did not feel welcoming at all. They will try to sell you the "set menu" if you want to sit in the "music room" with live music. This was not mentioned anywhere (maybe I missed the fine print). The food tasted good though. Everything else was sub optimal given the price point. Lot of opportunity to do better! read more

It is pretty nice inside our table had a flower vase w a rose and the servers were very nice too. Food was good I enjoyed the meat so much and the chicken was tender. The rice was also well flavored. I have become the fan of Byblos! We went there for their belly dancing performance. They have a set menu when you choose the music room. The menu is great! Plenty of mezzas and the main course had the vegetarian option which was great. Their cocktails were spectacular! The live performance was very entertaining. First half of the show was belly dancing and the second half was Arabic singing. I highly recommend Byblos. Just ensure to call and make reservations for the "music room". When booking through online Apps, they don't give you the option to book for live performance. read more

I was so happy with the service here. We were a large party celebrating my dad's birthday. Najeeb gave us a great table and Maurice checked on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. Our server was great, super attentive and very accommodating. We had so much fun with the entertainment too. We had a great table in a very convenient spot. They even brought out the cake while the singer sang happy birthday for my dad. The whole staff made it a great night for us. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a special event.
