    Labne wiht walnut harissa

I couldn't help myself. Ordered two days in a row. ~ Halloumi m'anoush was good, but I like the za'atar one better. And the halloumi shines more as an add on to the fattoush salad. ~ The lentil rice bowl is pure comfort food- tasty, warm, very filling, but healthy. It includes a scoop of Armenian salad (mix of tomato, cucumber, parsley) but if you are feeling like veggies- go with the salad instead. LOVED the labne with berries, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds. ~ The labne is thick and creamy, berries fresh, and the grape molasses nice and tart. It's rich- makes a filling breakfast or a hearty dessert. Would order this one again. Oh how I wish they had a location near me!

    lentil rice bowl ($12)

I tried the lentil rice bowl ($12) with red lentil kofta (additional $5). The bowl was tasty and balanced, although the spicy red pepper was rather sour. I appreciated that you can customize the bowl; the hummus was rich, and the fattoush was especially refreshing and delicious! I also included walnut harissa but couldn't find anything like it in the bowl; if the red pepper part was supposed to be the harissa, it was sour and had a different, more coarse/chunky texture than any harissa I've had in the past. My order was ready on time, but the lid wasn't fully closed when I opened the bag. Overall, not the flavors I was expecting, so I'm hoping this was a one-off.

Tried a sampling of the baba ganoush, walnut harissa, hummus and labneh and they were all top notch. Hope to go back for a full meal. Place is modern and airy, though with limited seating.

I've never been to their restaurant but have ordered takeout many times. This place never disappoints. After a long day of working, I didn't feel like cooking so I ordered delivery. For starters, I ordered the couscous and chicken. For the main, I ordered the chicken za'atar. And finally for dessert, the rice pudding. I was feeling rather generous so I shared with my hubby. We both enjoyed everything and cannot wait to order again!

I went to anoush'ella excited to try some Middle Eastern food, but the food wasn't anything special. I was excited to get a taste of home, and I wasn't blown away. The flavors were lacking a bit and there was nothing memorable. Also, the place itself isn't very inviting - it feels more like a fast food place when I was expecting a restaurant. The food is not bad, but there isn't anything special that stuck with me.

Came across this spot while searching for Armenian spots in Beantown. I ordered the zataar wrap and lebne with lahmejoon on top. Both were amazing. Labne was real flavorful and meat was cooked perfectly. the zataar wrap was really good as well. Had olives and cucumbers in the wrap. Even with olives removed ( i dont like olives) it was very flavorful. I wish i had met some armenian people that worked there while i was there but didnt. Taste wise, this is the closest thing ive tasted to food in Armenia itself, so bravo Anoush ella!

The labne with mango, pistachios, chocolate pearls, fresh mint and honey is my favorite thing on earth.

The zaatar is a fake cheap imitation. The bread is not authentic, and the combinations on the menu make no sense. Not recommended.

We ordered the Vegetarian grape leaves, Mujederra, Stuffed roasted eggplant appetizer, Salad with cashews -- all small dishes to share. Everything was tasty and well prepared. The only odd thing was when we first arrived, only 2-3 of the patio tables were occupied, and our friends were about to arrive. We were told - VERY STERNLY - that we needed to wait until EVERYONE was present in order to be seated, and until then, we needed to stand outside. I can certainly understand if they were busy, or even vaguely close to busy. But forcing seniors to stand outside the patio was just kinda weird. If it weren't for that off-putting interaction, I would have given them another star.

Currently closed till 7/2024 according to Yelp…read more But late 2022, we finally got the chance to try Fairouz's $43 Mixed Grill Plate (chicken, beef, shrimp (4 count), lamb, kafta (ground beef and lamb), served with rice, salad (simply lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes, and two portions of oil based dressing), garlic dip & hummus dip), to go. Everything came well packed, with the salad in a large plastic clam shell, two little sauce containers of each dip, two ziplock baggies of pita triangles, napkins, plastic ware, all sitting on the aluminum foil covered tray of meat and rice. Since I had been enticed by Bea's photo of this dish, I was a little disappointed at the lack of grilled vegetables. But there was salad and upon reflection, the menu made no mention of such veggies, so perhaps there's been changes over time? The rice received props from this household, and wonder at how it was flavored. The meat, though medium to well done, was tender enough, and the lamb lacked that gaminess that the non-lamb-eater among us so dislikes. The kafta and shrimp were the most strongly seasoned proteins of the bunch, and the shrimp rather juicy. Both hummus and garlic dip were good, but the garlic is indeed strong with the latter, so spread with a light hand. You can always add more to taste after all. The worst that could be said was that I wished that there had been more tomatoes in the salad, and if only they had not split the pita triangles. Pitas without their pockets are rather tougher to enjoy as self made mini sandwich bundles of all the good flavors and textures. I hope they see this and reconsider.
