When I was researching places at Time Out Market Boston, Anoush'ella Kitchen immediately stood out because I love Mediterranean and Lebanese food. AEK was one of the first places I noticed when I walked in. I ordered a Mezze Board. It came with Hummus, Baba-Ganoish, Labne, Walnut Harissa, falafel and grilled halloumi. There are many long tables to sit at that is shared by the other stalls in the market. It only took a couple of minutes for my order of fattoush with grilled halloumi to come out. The salad was very fresh and well dressed. It had everything you'd expect in a salad: lettuce, tomato, other greens, and herbs. The halloumi was drizzled with some honey, which was a nice contrast to the saltiness of the cheese. Stumbled in here after the "Beyond King Tut" exhibit at Boston's SoWa Power Station. I probably never would of went here if I didn't randomly see the positive reviews searching for food. Boy was I pleasantly surprised to step out of my comfort zone and try this spot! This place has turned me onto Armenian food! I got the Anoush'Ella Kofta and it was incredible! Not over cooked, perfect temp, dough/bread is amazing, what's inside is even better - a flavor explosion. YUM! I haven't gotten to try their South End spot yet, but after trying their Time Out Market location, I think I'll have to try their original location. I got the toasted couscous bowl ($14) with kofta and zhouk tahini sauce and the lentil rice with zaatar chicken bowl ($14). Both bowls came with so many different components that had their own unique flavor and texture profiles! I couldn't even pick my favorite because I loved everything. The portions were pretty decent. Probably not shareable, but big enough to fill you up. They give plenty of meat (either kofta or chicken) with the bowl. You can order from the Trillium beer garden and bring the food outside. Decent place in the already overpriced Timeout Market. I ordered a chickpea falafel wrap on a quiet weekday lunch and was a little disappointed by how skinny the wrap looked, but the side of tzatziki at least gave a little body to the bare plate. Upon trying it, I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and density of the wrap, packing plenty of flavor and falafel. Price is a teeny bit high but the fact that I was full left me pretty happy with the place. Got a beef kofta manoush wrap that came with a side of baba ganoush. The kofta was pretty good but the entire wrap and baba ganoush needed a little garlic and spice to make it more flavorful. We ordered food from anoush'ella for an impromptu family gathering under very stressful conditions. Alex was super helpful in determining how much to order and in arranging for delivery. The food arrived at the agreed upon time, at the proper temperature and, even though the order was large and somewhat complex, everything was spot on.
