I went to this Shawarma place on February 10, 2026. I found the staff very kind, generous, and the food delicious. I ordered a mixed Shawarma plate that came with a generous amount of lentils, beef, chicken, baba ghanoush, hummus, and a pita. I also ordered a polar seltzer, which they had many flavors of. Total cost was $20 and the staff was so nice that they gave us some baklava 10 out of 10 the kindness and the generosity beats anything I've had in Boston recently at that price point. read more

Walked in for falafel on a winter night and the man behind the counter was quite welcoming. The space has lots of seating and is really clean too so that was great to see. I ordered a falafel salad to go and they were kind enough to explain to me the ingredients I wasn't familiar with. He also cut off a piece of the lamb shawarma for me to taste and a mini baklava to try as I headed out. Such a small yet significant gesture. My favorite part of the meal had to be the little red chili they had on the side. All ingredients were fresh too so double points for that. My only negative had to be that the falafel's flavor was pretty distant but I'd definitely go back to try a different meal (most likely the lamb shawarma ) read more

It's pretty modest in appearance as palaces go but oh my! What it lacks in looks it makes up for in eats! I could tell good things were in store for me as soon as I entered and was wafted away with delicious aromas. I decided to maximize choices and ordered the "shawafel" plate which comprised of their beef and chicken shawarma and their falafel over a rice pilaf and accompanied with some salad, hummus, baba, pickles, and a garlic sauce (and I mean garlic!), as well as a couple pieces of pita. What a feast! I inhaled it in what seems a few minutes and wished I had space for more. My wife had the eggplant plate which contained several slices of fried and seasoned eggplant which she said was the best she'd ever had; my daughter had a grilled falafel wrap which was also reported as excellent. Tried shawarma for the first time, and was curious because I always hear people talk about it. I opted for the chicken shawarma plate because although the sandwich sounded good, I wasn't in the mood for it. The plate I had came with chicken shawarma, salad, rice, hummus and pita bread. The portion size was very large and you could easily have leftovers. I thought the dish was just OK though. I would have preferred some more seasoning and spice in the chicken. I did ask them if they had any spice and the lady gave me a small cup of a pickled pepper mix to add to my plate which I greatly appreciated because it added the flavor I was looking for. I did think the lady at the front was very nice. My friend had a lamb shawarma plate and I tried some of the lamb. That tasted really good, I must say. It's a solid three stars for me! read more

Expected More, but Wonderful People I was here for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant was not busy (I was the only customer). The owner was working behind the counter preparing chicken for the shawarma. He stopped what he was doing, cleaned up, greeted me and carefully prepared the food I ordered. This kind of personal attention to the food doesn't exist at many places and shows the amount the owner cares about his restaurant. This is our first visit to the Shawarma Palace. Wow. It's immaculately clean, the owner and staff are amazing and friendly! Our food was to die for. I got the Falafel Plate (vegetarian) and it was a lot of food. My husband got the Chicken Shawarma Plate and although it was massive too, he had to help me finish mine! Their beverage selection is in cold cases, but there is no lack of choices. I highly recommend this place! There's a reason this is the TOP rated restaurant in the area (according to Yelp and Google). I was not disappointed. I love Mediterranean food and I was especially pleased when the owner gave me a slice of the beef shawarma to try (even before I ordered). My eyes lit up and I was so impressed. I don't think I've ever tasted anything so flavorful and meaty and juicy like this. I don't know what the poor reviews are talking about when they said they "just expected more" because this was by far the best one I've tried. Please tell me where you've had better shawarma because I maybe ought to try those. I love it when the people who are there to greet you and serve you work like they actually care about their work. You don't really see this in the US much so I was very happy to have had this experience in a place i didn't expect much from (because it's so unfamiliar to me). Wow wow wow. My family and I were passing through Worcester and needed to stop for lunch, Shawarma palace caught our attention and knowing little about it we took a chance. The food was amazing, and the gentleman who I assume was the owner was so friendly and welcoming, will great dad jokes, it made us feel right at home. We got the Beef Shawarma and it was absolutely delicious. I'm so glad we took a chance on this place. My only regret was that I didn't ask if I could get a to go container full of the beef, I could eat that indefinitely. I liked the beef shawarma the most, followed by falafel. Chicken shawarma was ok. Hummus and baba ghanoush were excellent. Mujadara was ok. I went for spicy. There was a spicy thing put on top of the dish. It was a bit extra spicy. For drinks I went for Ayran. It is a yogurt based drink, similar to Indian butter milk. It is very nice. I finished off the food with a Baklava. It was not as sweet or oily as I have from other places. As a result there was a nice crunchiness to the pastry shell. read more
