Had the shawarma sandwich and the baklava from the Public Market place location. It was very tasty! Definitely having it again.

I no longer live in the Worcester area, but I used to go to George's all the time. I loved the food and the people. Highly recommended.

First of all, the shawarma is pretty good! It was juicy and the chicken and the beef were tasty. It was saucy and crispy all at the same time and the flavors just mixed in really well The owner of the restaurant is really friendly and even provided me with some baklava's at the end. I forgot to get my receipt and the owner was kind enough to just send it over to me next day after a phone call. Really top notch customer service in that aspect. They've been in the block for 7 years now and I can see why. The ratings on this place definitely did not disappoint. Suggestions would be to have provide fries or even have the option of fries.

It's a middle eastern restaurant primarily serves shawarma and other middle eastern cuisines. It's located next to a college building. Parkings are street only. Once we parked on the street we walked over to the restaurant. Inside is spacious pretty clean and there are quite a bit of tables and chairs. We went up to the counter to place orders. I got mixed shawarma plate and baklava. I wanted to try their mango lassi but they were out. The shawarma plate came with choice of rice or mujadara which is a lentil mixed with other vegetables. I got rice with it and it comes with chicken and beef shawarma, rice, salad, pita bread, hummus, garlic sauce and baba ghanoush. The salad, rice, pita bread, and shawarma were ok. Shawarma may have been better if it was earlier during the day as they would be fresher. The stars of the show were the sauces. Hummus, baba ghanoush and garlic sauce were all excellent. Mixing the sauce elevated the shawarma to the next level. Baklava was delicious as well. Not too sweet and that nutty flavor comes out strong. Service was good and staffs were friendly. The dish came out within about 10 minutes or so Overall it's a pretty good shawarma spot. If i were to come back i would see if they would allow substitution with salad for more rice and sauces on top instead of side so that i can have more rice and meat. I've had better quality shawarma but sauces were excellent.

Also it was my birthday and they sang 2 different Lebanese style birthday songs for me, and the belly dancer pulled me up to dance with her. The food was a fixed menu of family style eating with constant amazing food coming out throughout the night. The food was fresh and tasted amazing! I was with a group of 10, the tables are round so it was perfect for conversation before the entertainment started. Cons- It was on the pricier side, for 10 people, a few only had one drink, one didn't drink, and several had a few drinks and the bill was over $1200. The place had 75% empty tables. It seemed to take a while for the show to start. Before the show, it was bright, with no background music and with all the empty tables it just felt odd. Once the show came on though the whole vibe changed.

I'd recommend giving yourself a little extra time during busy hours. Our server was wonderful. She offered thoughtful recommendations, was attentive throughout the meal, and even wrapped up our leftovers for us. Everything we ordered was delicious and served in generous portions. If you're a fan of beef tartare, I highly recommend the Kibbee Nayye. It's beautifully prepared and served with olive oil, raw onion, fresh mint, and pita. The Family Platter #2 is also a fantastic option if you want to sample a bit of everything. Our favorites were the baba ghannouj, layered kibbee, and the super refreshing tabouli. We ended the meal with the Katayef Ashta, a pancake filled with sweet cream that reminded me of ricotta, and it was the perfect finish. We can't wait to come back!
