    Pastrami sandwich and corned beef

Great food , interesting location inside the temple. Delicious sandwiches and fries., we'll be back to try the schnitzel!

    Perfectly fatty pastrami sammich.

If I could 4.5-4.9 stars I would. Best pastrami on rye I have had in two years. Meat was appropriately fatty--perfect. With a semi-sour pickle and a Dr. Brown Cel-Ray soda, this was a perfect lunch. The Rabbi who took our order was informative and a bit of a comedian. The deli is in the Synagogue, so the ambiance was a bit different than any other place I have been. Check it out.

Sanctuary with Deli on the right. Kitchen behind the door in the corner.

It is a bit strange to walk into a church sanctuary to go to a deli, but that is exactly what this is. The service is friendly but (in my experience) confused and slow. I think the worker in the kitchen was new, and I don't think she spoke English and the orders were getting confused. The price was high for the amount of food I got. But, it was very tasty! They have tables and chairs set up, napkin dispensers on the tables. It was a fun find. Doubtful I will go here again.

Delicious kosher deli food! Not a ton of options, but authentic and easily found in the shul. Fast service and a pretty comfortable environment depending on the day.

    Hot pastrami sandwich

Hands down the best hot pastrami sandwich in a lifetime. Israeli salad refreshing, half-sour pickle crisp, latkes hot and fresh, matzoh ball soup healing-- all served with love and a big dose of personality in a Chabad House. An unexpected Worcester miracle-- absolute perfection

Ask the Community - Chani’s Kosher Deli

Do they have eat in options or just take out?

It's a shul, and you can eat there at one of their tables, but if you'd be uncomfortable, take out is always an option. I ate there (after washing my hands at their hallway washing station), because I wanted to eat everything hot and not in my car.

The atmosphere was lively and perfect for hanging out with friends. Service was friendly, although it took a little longer than expected during the busy hours.

We were seated quickly and the restaurant was not busy. Our server, Nick, provided outstanding…read moreservice, but unfortunately we were not very impressed with the food overall. The highlight of the meal was definitely the churros with chocolate, they were excellent and easily the star of the meal. My enchiladas were also very good. However, I felt that both the rice and the pico de gallo lacked flavor. The rice could have used a bit more seasoning, and the pico de gallo would have benefited from some salt and lime. One thing that took away from the experience was the music. If you understand Spanish, some of the reggaeton songs being played contained language that was not very pleasant to hear while dining. Given the restaurant's theme, I think more traditional Mexican music would create a more enjoyable atmosphere. We visited before attending a concert, and while the service was great and the churros were outstanding, the food and atmosphere left room for improvement. Update: Adding because I forgot before that the chicken fingers were terrible and this was confirmed by the 2 chicken fingers eaters 7 and 9 year old and mom.
