This place is located in a small strip mall, near the bustling intersection of East Main Street and Thompson Road in Webster. They have fruit and vegetables, convenience store type items, and a deli count. We ordered two sandwiches (wraps) to go, pastrami with cheese and chicken salad with cranberries. The pastrami wrap was good, a decent amount of pastrami and an appropriate amount of mayo, I'd be willing to order it again. The chicken salad wrap was a mess, it wasn't wrapped well and it wasn't completely cut in the middle. We deconstructed it and ate the chicken salad with a fork. The chicken salad was pretty good, if I were to order it again, I'd ask for bread instead of a wrap. We also took home some pierogis (a Polish dumpling filled with cheese and potato). I wasn't crazy about the filling, I like the Pierogis from the Utica, NY area, which I think are much better. Overall, not bad, I'll definitely give it another try. read more

Delray Doc's is known for their fresh sandwiches, deli meats, salads, fruits, veggies, and pastries. Many people say they have the best grinders in Webster, but I haven't tried them yet! I have tried their lobster roll, which was recommended to me by everyone I know. The Lobster Roll came with Cole Slaw and Potato Salad, so they gave you a lot of food for $15.00. The lobster roll itself was not as impressive as I thought it would be since everyone told me about. The roll it came on was not toasted and it was soggy, it fell apart anytime I tried to pick it up. They roll did have a lot of lobster meat on it, but it did not taste fresh. There was a lot of mayo on the roll, which could have made the bread soggy. The lobster meat itself did not taste like lobster meat and it was very chewy. It was hard to eat and I could not pick it up and had to eat it with a fork. I ended up not eating the bread and just had the lobster meat. That being said I love their chicken Caesar Salad and chicken salad with cranberries! They have great salads which I love! The one thing that impressed me here was the fact that the staff seemed to know a lot of their customers on a first name basis and took the time to say hello and chat. On the down side is the fact that I walked around for 10-15 minutes and was never approached. Guess no one wanted to learn my name. The store was very clean and well laid out. Prices were quite competitive. We had actually stopped for blueberries which was the one thing I couldn't find. I cannot write a low enough review about the owner of this establishment. I ordered a sandwich there today for lunch. A gentleman there took my order. I had to tell him 4 times that I did not want mayo on my wrap. All sandwiches are made to order, so that should not have been a difficult request. After confirming twice that he understood no mayo, I picked up my sandwich and left. I got back to work and opened my sandwich and there was mayo loaded on my wrap. I called and told them they screwed up my order. The owner got on the phone and verbatim said to me, "It was a mistake. What do you want me to do?" I told him if that was his response I was not very inclined to continue business at such an establishment, and he said fine and hung up. I have been here several times when the staff was rude, but this was unacceptable, discourteous, and just horrible service. DelRey, you are not the only sandwich joint. You're not the best or the best value. You are a garbage establishment not worthy of continued business. read more

DelRay Doc's is a nice little deli that sells fresh fruits and vegetables as well. The selection is good for this area. I would much rather get my vegetables here then at the local Price Chopper. The store itself is located in a small plaza and it is very clean inside. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. It seems that every time i go there, they seem to have a bigger and better selection of items. They also sell cheeses and meats alongside the deli. The deli itself looks fantastic, but i have not yet purchased anything from there. So far, it has only been the vegetables and fruits. They have a small selection of specialty items such as olive oil, etc. that is worth checking out. My only gripe with the store is they do not currently stock fresh herbs and I hope they consider doing this. Nothing better then some fresh basil or thyme to cook with. I also hope they can expand on their cheese selection and fresh breads would be great as well. Until then, they deserve the four stars, and I would encourage people in the area to check it out. read more

This place has the best. Delray has the best fresh meat. I always buy chicken breast there. It is the biggest and juiciest chicken around and its fresh. Their fresh ground hamburger is the bomb. The deli service is amazing. I will not buy meat at Big Y or Price Chopper anymore because I would rather make a trip to Delray. The subs are awesome too. I have been a customer here for over 5 years and have tried other places and none seem to compare. Produce is as fresh as it gets. The Deli is my go to spot. Wide variety of deli meats and salads. The sandwiches are hands down the best in a 30 mile radius. They always load the meat up leaving my full every time. They also have the best steaks, chicken and grinded hamburg that are cut fresh daily. Staff is very friendly and connect with their customers and the overall environment is great. Things go wrong in restaurants... it's part of dining out. What makes the difference is what happens when something goes wrong. The owner of this place proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that he is an asshole. A pompous asshole, at that. If one orders a sandwich and you screw it up, own up to it, and do what you can to make it right... not this guy, though, his methodology is just to brush it off and say " it was a mistake, it happens... what do you want me to do about it?!" And proceeded to just hang up the phone. I hear that their sandwiches are good, but they will not get my business any more. I think that their produce is priced too high and have found that some that I bought were not fresh. However, their salsa, which they have a daily sample of hot and mild out for customers to try is very good, so I have made the fort to go get some, even though it is pricy for what you get. Last Fall, I picked up a container of their hot salsa from the tubs for sale in the cooler, got home, and when I was about half way through dipping into the container, I found a soggy half pice of a tortilla chip. I was grossed out, and threw it out. They recycled what was out for the customers to sample back into containers they sold. When I went in to talk to them about it, they acted very defensively and almost rude, insinuating that I was making it up.
