I showed up at the deli at 7:35 to be told they were already closed. this is absolutely crazy.

Price Chopper has the worst rotisserie chickens of any place I've ever tried. Previous to today the last time we bought a rotisserie chicken at Price Chopper we threw it away because it was so dry and overcooked. We decided we would take the longer ride to Oxford Market Basket from then on to get our rotisserie chicken. This afternoon my husband stopped at Market Basket on his way home from work to grab a rotisserie chicken for dinner tonight, unfortunately they didn't have any so my husband stopped at Price Chopper as this was our dinner plan (we already had sides). Not only is Price Choppers rotisserie chickens $3. more than Market Basket, it was so dry we were choking on that thing!! If we both weren't tired I would have brought that chicken right back to Price Chopper to get my money back!! Next time I'll tell him to stop at a fast food place than to just throw that money away on dried out chicken! read more

I wish the Webster location was closer to me. It's always clean and every person in all departments are helpful and always saying hello as you walk by. There are closer locations to me but I won't use those. They aren't as friendly and are definitely not as clean. My all time favorite part of the store would def be the bagel department. WOW! The bagels are AWESOME! I totally recommend the cheddar cheese or Asiago. Personally I think they're better than Panera or Bagel Works. Yum! I came to pick up a quick dinner, big mistake! I bought an already cooked smoked chicken (dry as the bones). Dole salad mix (sale 2/$3) clerk said not on sale however the tag in the salad isle stated 2/$3! Asked for help at the self check out, the girl there was in LALA LAND. After all the issues there was NO AMBIANCE! I would NOT recommend this store for these reasons. Service sucks! Prepared food sucks! Thier prices suck! All in all.........try to avoid. I will alert people on Facebook as well. Never Again will I go to this store. read more

We went here last Thursday and ordered a cake for an 8 yr olds birthday. We requested a Bruins logo cake and the woman assured us it should not be an issue but if it was they would call us. We were scheduled to pick it up today (Sunday) at 10 am. The party was at 1 pm. We called yesterday (Saturday) just to make sure it was all set and again the person assured us if there was an issue that we would have received a call. WELL, at 9:36 am on Sunday (today) we missed a call from Price Chopper so I called them back immediately within 2 minutes, the girl I spoke to said that they tried to call us no one answered to which I responded, yeah 2 minutes ago. Needless to say they had called us 24 minutes before pick up to inform us they could not make the cake! I have never had such poor experiences as I have before. Every time I come to this store I deal with some sort of non sense! Thank god for Shaw's in Whittinsville for saving an 8 yr old child's birthday and coming through with a Bruins cake in an hour time! Never ever again will I go to this store I'll drive to Super Walmart in North Smithfield before I go here again! read more

5/2/2022 Price Chopper I was in the area and needed a couple items. This place desperately needs A good cleaning starting with the entryway which is quite filthy I normally like there bakery items, but most bakery items were dated yesterday or today. I asked the bakery guy if he had any fresh rolls and he got an attitude and stated when I sell those (outdated) ones he would make more. So until he sells old moldy outdated rolls, he won't be making anymore. Nice On to the Meat Department selling hamburger for $5.99 a pound with shades of reddish/brown/gray coloring dated mostly yesterday and the day before. How appetizing Run out of that place and go to Market Basket where you will see what a Super Market that really cares and offers fresh unexpired product. read more

Terrible selection, rarely do they stock. Don't be fooled! You'll see them stocking with their stocking carts smacked in the middle of the aisle taking up so much space you can't get around. They're mostly stocking cheese and yogurt. Other than that they will rarely stock. They haven't had my dog food in three weeks. They haven't had the beer that I buy in about a month. There shall selection along with most of their produce is terrible. They're bad salad is always brown and disgusting their premade food, such as their meals to cook at home such as lasagna, meatloaf, etc. it's absolutely disgusting. Their fish and chips is absolutely disgusting and it's in Webster and you have to deal with idiots in this messed up parking lot. It's a terrible terrible grocery store whoever designed this parking lot should get their license revoked, Stop & Shop, In Sturbridge or Putnam Connecticut is 10 times better heck even Big and Southbridge is much better than this dump. read more

This store name is fodder. They have the highest prices on everything they sell by 30% above Market Basket. Walmart is a little less expensive than Price Chopper but more than Market Basket. People save some real money and shop wisely, Price Chopper isn't the place to shop for food. read more

My boyfriend and I got VIOLENTLY ill after eating seafood from this place. I contacted the manager and he said he would escalate the matter. Called again a few days later and he says they would reach out to me soon. I haven't heard ANYTHING and it's been over a month! Absolutely unacceptable and I will not be buying their "fresh" seafood. Brand new super mega Price Chopper at the new East Village Square shopping center. The store is far less depressing and has improved departments and amenities. There is a Starbucks on the inside now. The beer and wine has its own entire section which has a lot more than the old location had. There is a cafe now with food as well as an expanded meat department. One improvement of note is the increased signage within each aisle. Its quite helpful. They are still lacking a couple grocery items that I look for though. Admittedly I am quite particular on some items and also have dietary criteria to deal with. Therefore I still have to make trips to Wegmans, Whole Foods and Trader Joes. Bottom line though, for the regular joe, Price Chopper will be fine. read more

Kid working self-check last night (03/06 around 6pm, dark hair and glasses) was an ass. He refused to look anyone in the eye and wouldn't address a person if they approached him... he just waited and then huffed and puffed while completing whatever he had to do. Handed him my ID to look up my store card and he cut me off while I simply tried to ask him to look it up, then turned his head completely away when handing it back to me. He didn't say "all set, here" or anything. Just threw his hand up in my general direction, turned away and said nothing. Look I used to work in a grocery store, it's not fun but there is no need to act like that. Normally I'd say to myself "this isn't a fun job, he's obviously younger, blah blah" but this was blatant asshat behavior. Woman at the deli was rude to another customer. The guy with the number she called was literally in front of her, she called the number, shouted "what do you want?" In his face. When he paused to look at a label in the case, she just shouted the same question in his face again. What the hell is wrong with employees here?!? I WILL add: the young kid with glasses at the deli was quite polite. read more

By the name I wanted to avoid this place, however a rural residence means limited options concerning market proximity. After one visit I'm pretty glad to have this place! All of my musts: * in-store Starbucks with cafe-feel dining area (this is my first stop) * variety of produce (and FRESH) * bagel shop (say what) and a delightful deli and bakery counter (English Muffin bread for .99c - yes please) * an ok spread of non-meat protein options (Tofurkey and the like); nothing like Wholefoods or Wegmans but certainly a do-able selection * ok floral department * variety of non-allergen soaps (Myers and Seventh) * variety of beer and wine, and you can pass back and forth between the two areas without going through some insane check-point Except it doesn't have: * Halo Top ice cream * DuClaw beer * Hard cider other than Angry Orchard (where's the Rhody Coyote, or Crabby's, or....loads of other options?) When you're heading out the bagger always asks if you'd like a hand to your car (so nice!). Parking lot is safely lit. Prices are pretty reasonable/average. read more

Amazing fresh bagels! Produce is always a little scarce and I go in the mornings. Store is clean and staff is always friendly. Reasonable prices and i like the point/cash back system. A plus the liquor store is attached and they always have great deals. read more

This is a great store, very clean and they have Starbucks!!!! Their prices are comparable to MB now but without all of the crazy people and having to park 3 miles away. The deli staff is always very friendly, helpful and offer all of the free samples you want to try. Their bakery has some incredible bread and treats. The seafood in the case never looks fresh though. That is the old down side I can think of after 100+ visits and 20+ times mystery shopping this store read more

Stay away!!!! Don't bother with this place.. They say they are 24 hours. But they don't actually care about anything during the night. The place just gets crappy. Can't believe it took me 15 minutes just standing at the register... You would think a company that claims good customer service would have enough people to offer it. Do yourself a favor drive the extra miles to avoid this store. The produce is second grade and the meats are marginal at best. I have complained to their corporate in the past regarding this location and it seems to fall on deaf ears. My final experience was two days ago when I purchased some fruits and the apples looked good in the outside but when I bit into one it was brown on the inside. Shame on me because the first bag I picked up had 3 rotten apples. The mandarin oranges have no flavor and we're dry. Not sure when the buy their product from but the entire mgmt staff should be fired. I would just assume to eat road kill before I go back there again. read more

I worked there for a few months, the back room/ food storage area is bad, especially the meat department! Don't eat anything that isn't sealed in a package because it might have been sitting on the nasty floor. They focus more on quantity than quality/ safety. I took a chance and bought a few store brand Sirloin steaks a few days ago (because they recently jacked up the price of grass fed sirloin) and I was disappointed (it had some kind of blood clots and was just mushy, soft/stringy)-Don't believe the ads, they do not "know meat" at all- read more
