On the downside, Market Basket can get very busy. Navigating the aisles can be challenging, and there can still be lines at the registers on the weekends even when all of them are open. The parking lot can be just as crowded. Sometimes necessary to park in the Home Depot lot because the Market Basket lot is completely full. Overall, though, Market Basket offers good prices, a solid selection, fresh produce, and plenty of staffed checkout lanes. A solid 4 stars.

Everyone was kind and friendly the person waiting on me at the front desk Tessa she was awesome. Very helpful and kind. I had lots of questions. She had no problem giving the answers. It had a dip that had a quart of yogurt has some slicing cheese on burgers. It had the kind of crackers it had a cream cheese. It had about seven different items in the bag for $25. I really felt that was a very good value Because it's directly from the farmer. They had a lot of good deals today. They are fresh local meats and cheeses pies from humble pie company and waffle. They also had ice cream from like five different companies. This was a lot of fun so glad I bought the ticket. It was only $10 and well worth the price. My intentions had to take my grandkids up here so they can see the cows and stuff and they can get ice cream a different day.

At first I was a little frazzled when I realized you need to order on the website and then come down and pick it up. This was no problem. I called back from the parking lot, placed my order, and they brought it out and put it in my car. I'm sure if it was a busy time this may have taken longer. Bottom line: they are doing this the right way. I had no physical contact with anyone so all i needed to do was wash the groceries when I got home, which I do anyway! Great service. Decent selection for a country store. Friendly and helpful staff. Much safer than going to the grocery store for us and for them. I highly recommend this business.

We decided we would take the longer ride to Oxford Market Basket from then on to get our rotisserie chicken. This afternoon my husband stopped at Market Basket on his way home from work to grab a rotisserie chicken for dinner tonight, unfortunately they didn't have any so my husband stopped at Price Chopper as this was our dinner plan (we already had sides). Not only is Price Choppers rotisserie chickens $3. more than Market Basket, it was so dry we were choking on that thing!! If we both weren't tired I would have brought that chicken right back to Price Chopper to get my money back!! Next time I'll tell him to stop at a fast food place than to just throw that money away on dried out chicken!

On our last few visits to Boston, we stayed in the Seaport area. I know a lot of locals are down on…read morethe Seaport as a gentrified and expensive borefest, but as a tourist it's not half bad. The only downside is it's pretty hard to find a place to buy groceries. Since we didn't want to eat out every night we decided to walk over to this Trader Joe's to get some food. Is a pretty typical Trader Joe's, but it's very small, even smaller than the one we have back home in Boca, which is one of the smallest ones I've ever seen. But we found everything we needed and everything was pretty good quality in particular the fresh produce. Overall if you're in the Seaport this place is a must if you don't want to spend a fortune on food. I'd give it four stars, definitely recommended and possibly the only place to go grocery shopping in the immediate area.
