Biggest and nicest Trader Joe's we ever been in. It was very clean and organized. The aisles are wider than the regular Trader's Joe also. My wife dropped in for some Boston themed bags. She was able to find some for $0.99 each, excellent buy. She also brought some foldable hard sided square bag with handles, excellent for carrying heavier items. First time seeing this type of bag. There were plenty of cashiers, so checkout was quick. read more

On our last few visits to Boston, we stayed in the Seaport area. I know a lot of locals are down on the Seaport as a gentrified and expensive borefest, but as a tourist it's not half bad. The only downside is it's pretty hard to find a place to buy groceries. Since we didn't want to eat out every night we decided to walk over to this Trader Joe's to get some food. Is a pretty typical Trader Joe's, but it's very small, even smaller than the one we have back home in Boca, which is one of the smallest ones I've ever seen. But we found everything we needed and everything was pretty good quality in particular the fresh produce. Overall if you're in the Seaport this place is a must if you don't want to spend a fortune on food. I'd give it four stars, definitely recommended and possibly the only place to go grocery shopping in the immediate area. read more

I come here for the fresh cut flowers but always find some amazing food items that appear in my basket. I adore flowers and I can get a great DIY bouquet for under 10 bucks. But get here early because the best selection goes quickly. Their chili lime twists and queso dip are hits with the kids. We're also hooked on their dark chocolate peanut cups. We're talking real peanut butter with real good chocolate. The staff her are always cheerful and helpful. Even when the lines are long I get through in a jiffy. If I were to describe the vibe? I probably visit the Trader Joe's in Seaport once a year. I really like this one but I don't go here often because parking is a pain to find (most of the time). I was on the hunt for kiwi berries, within minutes, I found them. I felt elated to find them here, half an hour before closing. I highly recommend kiwi berries if you enjoy kiwi; they are berry sized, look exactly like a kiwi inside, & not as tart as green kiwis. Golden berries can also be found here, as well as the biggest blackberries I have seen all year. As I was headed to check out, I stumbled upon their dry shampoo + guava hand cream... I had to get them!! Both are amazing & I love them ;) They also had the new colors of reusable insulated bags available to purchase, comes in green & red. I bought a large green insulated reusable bag & one of each of the small insulated reusable bags. UGH, I love Trader Joe's! Most Trader Joe's that I've come across are located in the suburbs of a town or city. This one was outside of downtown in a nicer neighborhood of Boston near the Seaport. July is definitely a hot and humid month and there were also lots of flowers laying out store front, end-aisles and displays of everything and anything perfect for BBQ'ing. Picking up few groceries was mainly the purpose of this visit. From snacks to salads, coffee to basically anything you might have forgotten in your toiletry bag. Price is always right, service from all clerks and cashiers are very consistent whenever you visit any Trader Joe's in any state. What I didn't expect to be such a good product, was their Lavender Overnight Face Mask. Coulda, shoulda, woulda bought more than one because Trader Joe's goes through these seasons and once you miss out on a specific item, you may not see it for another few months or an entire year. For an afternoon, it wasn't as busy as I normally would encounter during the after work hours. It could have been that thunderstorms were expected and customer's wanted to be there earlier during the day to avoid being stuck in the rain. Cashiers were super quick and efficient, store is well kept and organized, I love the building as it was sort of historic looking, this Trader Joe's has only been here for a short time, brand new looking! read more

Great TJs for the amount of space that they have and the area that they are in. There is always so much foot traffic but they seem to keep everything stocked and ready to go whenever I come in. They have good vegetables and fruits available which is huge for the city. The cashiers are always very friendly too. Very thankful for this TJs and everyone working at it! read more

I'm always a huge fan of Trader Joe's and this location is no exception. I will say that it tends to get very busy, especially right after work hours. The line moves fast, but it's not worth the hassle for me. The staff is really friendly and helpful, so don't be shy if you have any questions. I'm always so tempted to stop by when I'm in the Seaport area, even if it's just to grab something small. The selection of food and snacks is awesome, but the Seaport location doesn't have wine, beer, etc., which is a bit of a bummer. This time of year is perfect for a nice Trader Joe's haul, especially with all the fun fall snacks! My favorites are the pumpkin baking mixes and Joe-Joe's. I always stopped by when I am around seaport. This place is spacious and clean but the downside is this location don't sell alcohol.

Best Trader Joe's in the city by far. Kinda hard to get to without a car, and even then parking can be tricky. Love the lay out of this store and it's pretty spacious, so even during busy hours it's manageable. Always pretty well stocked, they don't however carry any alcohol. Disgusting and classless behaviour by the store manager. As my wife and I were leaving this Trader Joe's store, an employee that held the door for us began taunting another man, belittled his ability to speak or understand English, then made a comment about his reading comprehension. The man was asking her a question in what sounded to me like plain American English with no recognizable errors or foreign accent whatsoever. I don't understand how her remarks had anything to do with anything that was happening at this moment. Nothing in this situation required "English" or whatever she was talking about. This employee tried to escalate an argument that was not even happening. It happened so quickly and randomly. Her reaction seemed to have come out of nowhere and there was no justification for her behaviour. As we got outside, she repeatedly shouted over him "F* YOU! GO F* YOURSELF!" several times while the man asked to speak with her manager. She stated she was the manager. She then pushed a weird narrative, yelling to people outside for help as if she was a victim. I am appalled that a Trader Joe's manager would use disgusting language and act like this. This place has no class. Her utter disrespect towards this man revealed the genuine person in front of us, rendering insincere any politeness or kind words she has shown to us or to any other customer. This whole incident reeked of manipulation and xenophobia. It was obvious why this woman was alluding that the man was foreign and was of inferior intelligence. However, not all foreigners look like your stereotypical image of what some people think they look like. My wife and I both immigrated from Europe and find her comments and behaviour to make us feel very uneasy about shopping at a place where someone can be stigmatized for being different from others. We won't be returning to shop here again. I will also be letting friends, family and everyone in my office know about this. There are many other available options that offer a superior customer service experience as well as ones that deliver your groceries to you. read more

True to the nautical theme this is a cute Trader Joe's chain right in the middle of Seaport. The deals and prices are consistent but there are some limitations worth noting: - no liquor, wine or beer - not a big selection of vegetables (most packaged) - does not sell kitchen equipment like some of the bigger ones (ie Allston) Happy shopping! read more

Trader Joes is great, as everyone knows. The Seaport is overly expensive and lacks quality grocery options, as everyone also knows. Thus, Trader Joes taking up residence here is a godsend and absolute perfect match. This is a very large store (by TJs and Seaport standards), totally brand new inside of an old shell, with high ceilings and a well lit, super clean industrial design. It contains a huge selection of TJs renowned brand name goods, as well as some surprising augments. The Achilles heel of this place (for outsiders) will be easy parking. There are a few short term paid spots on Seaport Blvd ... but other than that? Good luck. Don't drive here. However, this location is right next to Courthouse (Silver Line) and only a half mile (scenic) walk over the bridge from South Station (Red Line). It is also pretty ideally and centrally located for workers / residents of the Seaport & Financial District. Given the lack of any real competition and the massive demand for quick and easy quality groceries among the well compensated locals, I can't see how this place won't be a total revenue monster. A very special shoutout to Gaby and the other amazing crew members at Trader Joe's at the Boston Seaport location for their AMAZING customer service. Last Saturday, April 10th, I had the honor of officiating the wedding of my sister at a nearby restaurant. About 1.5 hours before the ceremony, we realized a bouquet for the bride was never ordered. I was told to go to Trader Joe's and put something together. In a panic I rushed to Trader Joe's and quickly found the first crew member I could find to help me. Luckily, I found Gaby! I quickly told her the situation and asked if someone could help me - without any hesitation she told me to go pick out the flowers I liked and to come back to her. After picking out two arrangements, she told me to pay for them and that she would get everything she needed to make a bouquet. By the time I got back to her, she had two other crew members waiting to assist. Everyone was so kind and helpful, and went up-and-above to help before the big ceremony. I just left this Trader Joe's and needed to somehow make sure that the manager, Steven, got recognition for a complete act of kindness. I went there to buy some flowers for a friend who recently lost her husband due to Covid. Steven was ringing me out and happened to ask what the occasion was for flowers. I relayed the sad news and then went to hand him my credit card to pay. He told me not to worry about it and that the flowers were on him. Seeing and reading nothing but negative things happening in the world the last year, not only was this a total shock, but was more importantly a reminder that there are still incredibly good people out there. Steven, should you see this, thank you again, I am appreciative beyond words. No one knows what type of day someone is having and these unexpected acts of kindness can be so powerful. read more

I am Trader Joe's obsessed. I go every week and I'm always impressed, but I was especially impressed with my experience with Godefa from the Seaport Trader Joe's. I love talking Trader Joe's products and we talked about all the different products we both loved that the checkout experience was just like chatting with an old friend. Awesome location! I went yesterday morning on the Grand Opening and just like all of the other Trader Joe's great selections of items and great friendly staff! As always great samples and a part of the opening one or two crew members was giving out delicious spice cupcakes with a delicious cream cheese tasting frosting! I will definitely come back and this location is easily accessible from South Station, Silver Line and since it's not far from Dorchester Avenue you can likely get there from Andrew and Broadway!! read more

Hi! Its not a secret I'm obsessed with Trader Joe's. The selection of different food, the employees, just the store itself makes it so much better to grocery shop! I wanted to praise one of the checkout clerks. His name is Godefa and was the sweetest, nicest, most caring man who went the extra mile. He bagged all of my produce for me that I brought to the register without bags, he bagged all my meat for me, and then, since we have to bag our own groceries outside the store if we bring reusable bags, he laid my cart out in the most perfect organized way to make it easier on me to bag. He also let me open up my asparagus before I bought them since I've have to return the last 2 bags I bought becuase they were bad. He was amazing and I just wanted to give him a shoutout and let everyone know that this employee is amazing if you ever have the chance to interact with him!
