    Wonderful selection

I absolutely love this place. It is an amazing combination of culture, noise and smells. The produce and other products are incredibly inexpensive but beware that they are on their last days of viability. I would not recommend you buy anything that you do not plan on consuming in the next 24 hours since it will likely be spoiled after that. Nevertheless this is a great experience!

Wow. 3 lobster tails for $20 and asparagus for $1. I know where I would be shopping if I lived here. Amazing section of fresh fruits, vegetables, fish....

You cannot beat these deals anywhere. There's a ton of options and you can haggle a bit and get amazing deals. I just bought a juicer and so I came over here and spent $18. I got 14 oranges three giant carrots, celery, a cucumber, seven lemons, 10 apples, cranberries, strawberries, four blackberry boxes and two raspberry containers, as well as Ginger. Where else can you get a deal like that? The only bad thing is that most of the time the fruit goes bad by the end of the weekend. I just bought a juicer so I went nuts and juiced and made smoothies for all of this within a couple of days. But you would not normally buy that much unless you wanted to eat it all quickly. Completely nuts. Best deals in the city! Everyone is always very nice there and the spot is super centrally located and an easy walk to Faneuil hall. It's never super easy to park over there, but I take the train so it's no biggie. Would recommend to everyone.

Haymarket is an awesome place to get fresh produce and fish, everything is in abundance here and the vibe is great, a nice buzz of transactions going on!!

Great market for fresh fruits and vegetables. They do also have a few storefronts offering fish and meat. We noticed one stall with fresh seafood. The market is open Friday and Saturday. It was quite busy and the offerings were plentiful.

Do Not Buy from this guy!

Be careful of this one vendor with specs and hat at the start of the market, first of all he sells very cheap and poor quality stuff at double the rate compared to other vendors in the same market, his cut/chopped items are always rotten just like his attitude and secondly is very rude, misbehaves and makes offensive remarks at customers to the extent of swearing and abusing without any reason perhaps just a racist!

Inflation doesn't appear to be a problem at the Haymaket. majority of the produce is still priced at $1-3 per unit. The staff are really friendly and willing to help customers. If you're buying in bulk bring a wagon and go early, it's busy all day. $20 got me 16 pounds of mixed produce. unbelievable!

The Haymarket is cash-only. If you're a local, you must visit the Haymarket for your produce. Location: Centrally-located near Faneuil Hall Value: Incredible! Less than half the price of grocery store produce. The review: The Haymarket is a collection of vendors selling produce that are mostly grocery store overstock. They are thus able to sell these excess goods at a highly discounted rate. The vendors are awesome to talk to, and sometimes even try to make a deal, even if their prices are super low. Visiting the Haymarket is a really fun urban experience that is reminiscent of the local markets in Latin America. To be fair, it's quite a grungy ordeal, located on the street near the North End. Nevertheless, the produce is fabulous and I re-stock my fruits and veg at the Haymarket weekly. Tip: Do a lap around and find the best prices/freshest stuff. On your second round, you'll be prepared and know exactly what you'd like. Please note that they only accept cash.

I was able to get: Iceberg lettuce, bananas, strawberries, russet potatoes, avocados, blueberries, zucchini, ginger, cucumbers, grapes, tomatoes, raspberries, cauliflower, garlic, and onions! All for $23!! Amazing, some food was moldy or going bad. But overall what can you expect? These are amazing deals. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and are looking for fresh food. I got a lot and froze most of my fruits for smoothies I make. Open friday-sat around 7am-7pm or sun down Saturday's are days you can really bargain. I parked my car at haymarket garage for $10 - about 30 min Once you leave elevators and out the door the street is full of vendors.

Well if this isn't competitive commerce at its finest!! I LOVE this market. Vendors yelling out prices, slashing prices before your very eyes and pumping out cheap produce in droves. I like to come here about once a month and just load up on veggies, fruits and fish. I typically buy enough to chow down on some great food right away and then freeze a bunch for later use. If you play your cards right, and bring a couple of coolers to fill up you will literally save hundreds of dollars compared to the supermarket. My only caution and recommendation is that you either eat it right away or get to freezing it or canning it. The produce is ripe and ready to eat immediately in most cases! Also, if you go in the afternoon the prices are even cheaper than what they begin the day as. I did not think that was even possible! The quality is the exact same they just need to unload it. Go get you some!

We were just visiting Boston for the week and stumbled upon the weekly Haymarket on Friday. It was very cool to walk through the street with all the tents set up for the vendors. The prices are insanely cheap and we were able to get 4 oranges for $2. We would have bought more, but we were leaving the next day knew we wouldn't have a chance to eat anything more. We did snack on the oranges while walking the freedom trail that day. They sell all types of food here, from fresh fruits and veggies, to fish, to spices. It is a bit hard to be served as people are constantly yelling prices and most vendors are restocking their goods. Once you get their attention it is very quick and easy to hand over the money.

Really good finds Saturday. Love shopping here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WbTx1yJ0zc&fbclid=IwAR1MWfGCNPqWNkc49WlY6xYEhtN1BRoKAj2Qf_FPahmC704m2ieHxb0hMl4

Best place to get fruits at! Prices are fair and there is a great variety. Definitely worth coming to check it out.

Pretty cool, but we got there too early so nothing was really going yet. Will give it three for now and then raise it if we ever comeback.

Been coming here for years, as everyone else has pointed out, it's conveniently located in DTX. When you walk in, you can buy prepared foods and sit down in a cafe, the main grocery store is in the basement. They have an excellent cheese section, snack section - so many different chips and crackers to choose from, and a fairly decent boxed cake section. They also have a lot of frozen items and other dairy products. I have purchased produce here but not very often. It wouldn't be my first choice - they don't have too great of a selection and it seems more expensive than WFs. They have a decent sized alcohol section but it's blocked off and you have to purchase alcohol in that section - no biggie tho. They have a variety of local beer and cider, which is nice. Near the checkout, they have the prepared foods, bakery, and meat counters. The items from the bakery case look decent but I have not tried them. The checkout line can be long sometimes but usually goes pretty fast. All in all, this a convenient location with lots of items to choose from. I'll def be back!
