Stopped by here for an impromptu lunch with a friend after Zumba class. The place was quite crowded as usual and we looked around for seating and decided to sit at the bar. Nice decor at the bar. You can order from the same food menu. I ordered the nana's egg sandwich in a pita - it was essentially an omelette sandwich with boursin, olive tapenade, cucumber, tomato and schug which is a green hot sauce which I got on the side. It was quite interesting- not what I had expected and next time I would ask to omit the olive tapenade. I asked for ketchup to add in. It was a really good portion- probably 2 or 3 eggs. Very hearty and filling. The friend ordered the eggplant quinoa bowl which comes in this sauce and very cheesy. Comes with bread - really tasty! Got a smoothie here in the evening one weeknight and the place was pretty empty, although it was quite rainy when we stopped by. It felt more like a takeout spot despite the ample seating as most people were in and out quickly, but maybe that was also because it's attached to a mall (Prudential Center). Hmmm - the menu here is so hit or miss (usually the latter). We love Israeli food so we've gotten all kinds of variations of their Mediterranean food - shawarma bowls, chicken pita, salads, etc. but everything is always bland and doesn't taste good at all. The preparation is pretty mediocre and tastes a bit like cafeteria food. We wanted to love this place since the interior is so cute and there's lovely places to sit outside but it's really just okay. We had a good experience here. As we walked in, we saw the virtual assistant, where you can order anything on the menu and that's what we did. It was easy and efficient. Pressed Cafe is like the Swiss Army knife of fast casual dining. There are so many options, covering typical American, Asian, Mediterranean, Indian, and Middle Eastern foods. For our to go foods, we ordered at a touch screen kiosk and paid. When our Jaffa salad and New England clam chowder were ready, my name was called. We also picked up a box of day old bakes consisting of two muffins and croissants for $8. The clam chowder was creamy and not too salty. It was full of clams and potatoes. One of the best clam chowder we ever had. The salad was fresh and that lemon salad dressing was so good. We are the day old bakes for late night snakes. They were very good after warming them in the microwave. Counter service was friendly. Prices were affordable. We don't mind returning if we are in Boston again. read more

We came to pressed in Prudential a couple of times now, after I've been visiting their other locations for years. It's very cozy inside with lots of seating. I will say the last time around our food took so long to come out, which was surprising. We ordered back to back but mine came out in 5 minutes and my boyfriend's took like 15. The initial setup of this cute little cafe is that of a walk up and order but , you quickly realize that, they give you a table top number and each table has an assigned waitress to comes by and checks on you throughout your meal. Herbs omelet, tomato/cucumber salad, avocado slices, feta cheese, olive tepenade, labneh, babaganush, shug, tahini sauce, pita and yogurt with oats/honey for a little sweetness. It usually comes with tuna salad which I skipped since I'm vegetarian. The expresso came eith a glass of sparkling water and a little chocolate. Stopped by this place for a quick lunch in the afternoon. It was pretty busy, similar to a takeout place, with people coming and going. The restaurant itself was pretty clean, and was a cozy spot with lots of room to sit. Our order had a mixup with another one, and took about 15 minutes to resolve, but regardless it was worth it. The turkey Rueben was pretty good, although I couldn't taste the thousand island sauce much. Their smoothies tasted fresh and smooth, and weren't too sweet. I could see why it was packed everyday. The first trip I got the meat lovers breakfast burrito I believe. It has ham, bacon, sausage, eggs, and roasted potatoes. Those potatoes were so dang good. The wheat wrap was also really good. Different than my typical but I enjoyed it a lot and they grilled it so it had the crisp exterior. It was a huge burrito and I didn't even finish the whole thing. The salsa it was served with was also a really good pairing. I needed more salsa it was that good. I then came back for a breakfast two days later and decided to get the acai bowl with a green juice they had in the beverage fridges. The acai bowl was simple but good and hit the spot. The portion size was great. The berries on top changed day to day I believe because I was served strawberries with mine and my co worker the day prior had a different berry. Either way, It was so good and refreshing to start my day. For lunch one day we came back to try this place and I decided to get the herb grilled salmon blt panini but I subbed the bread for a croissant. There was a hefty amount of salmon on this sandwich so I probably should've kept the ciabatta bread but it was really good and fresh either way. This was a really good place and good prices for everything. I could see myself eating here alot if I had one locally.
