We were greeted by a friendly face and seated immediately even though they were busy. I ordered the breakfast plate with 2 eggs, home fries, turkey bacon, and toast. The food was fresh and hot. They have an open kitchen and the staff were on point. The kitchen staff were sending out plates as fast as I've ever seen especially for an open kitchen. Even though I wasn't asked what kind of toast I wanted, and the grain bread I received wouldn't have been my first choice it was delicious. I was craving pancakes and they delivered with a substantial stack of three large pancakes - honestly my friend and I probably should've shared it was so much food. I went with the s'mores option and my friend had the blueberry and she definitely made the better choice. The "smores" just had mini marshmallows (not melted), banana, and graham crackers - no chocolate! Very cute neighborhood to grab breakfast/lunch, take a walk, and shop. It was a nice morning so we sat in the patio (big mistake). Food was decent and service was quick. We had been to the Paramount, for breakfast, and I fell in love with a French toast. So, we assumed the dinner food would be just as memorable... WRONG. I've never met a Bolognese I didn't like... I honestly thought I may have contracted Covid and lost my taste buds. So, I had my partner taste it too... Same response. All I can guess is that they made it with only ground beef, which is not what was advertised on the menu. The chef used almost no tomato sauce. Instead, they relied on heavy cream, which had very little flavor. Even the pasta was mushy and overcooked... so disappointing. The teriyaki stirfry was advertised as including carrots, broccoli, mushrooms, and peppers. We asked them to hold the peppers and assumed they would include extra vegetables or replace them with something else. Instead, they took away the peppers... And the carrots... Kind of like a eggs benny with a chunk of burrata on the side. Mediterranean omelette: this was the best. A delicious omelette stuffed with artichokes, Kalamata olives and other veggies. Irish Coffee 7/10 - Good, but not remarkable. It was mostly whipped cream. Brioche French Toast 7.5/10 - Tastes amazing but it was soooooo thick! Couldn't finish all three pieces. Buttermilk Pancakes 7.5/10 - Same as the French toast, it was good but so freaking thick. I had to use sooooooo much syrup and I'm not a syrup girl. Home Fries 5/10 - At this point I was wondering if the theme was thick. These were cut so big it was crazy. They were seasoned well but dry. Please cut smaller!
