Stopped into Stubbys in seaport after grabbing seafood from Wulfs in Boston Provisions Market and needed something quick, ended up being a solid find. Went simple with the chicken finger & fries. Want your typical junky finger, had good meat no fat or hard stuff in it. They were nice and hot, crispy and had good flavor. Deff get the bbq and honey mustard for dipping. Service was fast and friendly, greeted everyone when they walked in (not typical for Boston lol). Inside was on the smaller side with several tables and high top seating but very clean. Menu had a solid range of options for a smaller place.. Subs, sandwiches, burgers, soups, and salads. One of those spots where you could come back a few times and try something different each visit. Only regret.. i missed the special sign that mentioned they had a breakfast burger available that sounded delicious, would've ordered that immediately instead. Stubby's is a casual counter order then sit down restaurant hidden in the seaport. They had lots of sandwich, wrap, soup, and combo options to chose from. I try the fried chicken caesar wrap and it was great! The fried chicken was crispy, perfect amount of sauce, and loved the crunch of the croutons. Cool spot. Fast service and a good selection. I love that they're open late. I had the jerk chicken sandwich and onion rings. The sandwich initial had good flavor. Saucy and very spicy. But the chicken was a little dry and slightly undercooked in the midldle. I give it a 3.7 for flavor but a 3.0 for chicken quality. The onion rings were pretty good. Very crunchy and hot! I burned the roof of my mouth! My fault, cuz I was hungry and was impatient. I was going to give those a 4 out of 5, but one ring I bit into was filled with the dry powder batter, so I'm saying 3.5. Overall experience was a 3.5. I would try it again at a different hour and different menu selection. My wife and son had the starch Chianti's and give it a 3.5 overall. We spent around $66 on 3 sandwiches, 3 sides and 2 drinks. A little pricy, but it is the Seaport area, so I get it. I just the chicken was a little fresher and more thoroughly cooked. The vibe is cool, especially for late night eating or a quick bite if you've been shopping or headed to a show and need something solid, but fast. I give it a 4.0 for ambiance. read more

I'm a burger fanatic and I can say this is an extremely good burger spot. The restaurant is always cleaning and it's around the corner from seaport nightlife. It's open late and the staff are SO NICE. The food is always hot and freshly made. Ample seating as well. Perfect late night snack. I was able to snag street parking across the street and it was after hours so there was no parking charge. I always get the waffle fries although there's a small up-charge. The biggest perk is how FAST they are. I urge everyone to try this once and they'll be hooked. read more

Nice place tucked away in the Seaport. ( across from Grand ). My burger was delicious and there was a good amount of breakfast style bacon on the bottom. Stubby's is is a very welcome addition to the seaport for some amazing and reasonably priced lunch for the area. I've been about a half dozen times since they opened and the one item that sets us apart is the quality of the bead in their sandwiches. Steak and Cheese - Seriously, this is the best version of this classic I have ever had. It's well seasoned and comes with nuclear colored cheese along with peppers and onions. Cheeseburger sliders - The buns they use really set it apart. The toppings make it feel like a fancier McDonald's burger. Chicken sliders - Again, the bread they use is great. Comes topped with a slice of that nuclear cheese and it tasted great. Breakfast Sandwich - I would recommend it on a bun vs a bagel.
