We came here for brunch one morning while in town. It was a cute and quiet little café that's kind of tucked away. The place had a very homey and quaint feel to it. Food was fairly decent. I got the chicken burrito panini, which was fairly good. Service was pretty quick and friendly. I would say the vibe and atmosphere is what makes this place. It has a small town diner vibe in a city if that makes sense. read more

Came here twice during my stay in Boston, MA! I enjoyed a cappuccino with a chocolate chip cookie on day one and on our second visit I enjoyed a drip coffee , a sausage breakfast sandwich and another delicious chocolate chip cookie. I was disappointed by this place. Seemed like a nice neighborhood cafe; it was near the place I was staying so I swung by to grab a latte and possible a light snack. They didn't have much to offer in the way of pastries, and the couple items they had on display didn't look appetizing. The coffee wasn't very good, and the service was severely lacking (barista seemed to have a bad attitude). I won't be coming back, and would recommend to avoid this place - there are plenty of better cafes in the area to visit. read more

He made all sorts of exasperated noises and seemed so unhappy and annoyed that he had to assist me. The food was nothing special, the atmosphere sucked. The variety of loving delights is just right - truly something for anyone - a well rounded menu. BUT most important the food is DELISH! The high quality ingredients and loving preparation shines bright! From just two visits I could see how much the local community enjoys the food and flavors. walked in with my kids and I'm not sure if the guy behind the counter was upset about where we were standing or speaking about the shop as a whole but he said that it "wasnt a place for kiddies". if we were in the way he could have said "could you please move. he also mentioned all the tables were taken... I wonder if this was sarcasm?? we just left without being served because I didn't want to further upset anyone for having children in public and didn't want to be somewhere where we weren't wanted. the google maps said it was "kid friendly" but you tell me. place was clean and busy but can't vouch for what I've mentioned here. just serves as a warning to any parents, you could encounter the same or maybe someone was having a bad morning. read more

The food was excellent and a decent price. I docked two stars for order ahead not making any sense. They sent me a text that the food was ready. Food was not even started. Why have a text system if it's not accurate. Don't even text and I'll just show up at the pickup time and be expecting to wait. Looks good for having a leisurely hangout. I will definitely be back but I will walk there at a slow and leisurely pace, and enjoy the food in cute surroundings. Three of my friends and I ate here on our last day in Boston for a quick breakfast. Except for an older gentleman, there weren't any other customers inside so we had plenty of options for seats. The owner was super friendly, was warm and eager to explain the extensive menu items and specials, and brought out our food hot and fresh. I ordered the omelette special ($6.50) and a low-calorie sparkling fruit drink called MASH, lemon peel ginger root flavor ($2.50). The omelette was fresh, flavorful, and not greasy---a good portion for breakfast. Two slices of delicious toast accompanied the dish. The beverage was refreshing, sparkling as it stated, and very gingery--I wanted to buy more to go because that's how I roll but I didn't want extra suitcase weight so I didn't get any more. Tried to eat here Monday after arriving from Indy because it was close to the Revolution Hotel. Yelp said open until 4:30 but it was (disappointingly) already closed a few minutes before 3. Sign on door changed to say 3. (Their hours are limited to M-F 7-3.) We tried again on Friday for breakfast. Small place. You order at the counter and they bring food to you. There are two small round 2-person tables by the front window, 2 armchairs with a round table in the front, two 4-person booths, two 2-person booths and three 2-person tall tables. I got a Berkeley Omelet with sourdough toast. It was good. Got some chocolate chip cookies. 3 for $4. Yum! Note that breakfast is served 7am-noon. Lunch items served from 11am to 3pm. read more
