We came here for brunch one morning while in town. It was a cute and quiet little café that's kind of tucked away. The place had a very homey and quaint feel to it. Food was fairly decent. I was disappointed by this place. Seemed like a nice neighborhood cafe; it was near the place I was staying so I swung by to grab a latte and possible a light snack. They didn't have much to offer in the way of pastries, and the couple items they had on display didn't look appetizing. The coffee wasn't very good, and the service was severely lacking (barista seemed to have a bad attitude). Three of my friends and I ate here on our last day in Boston for a quick breakfast. Except for an older gentleman, there weren't any other customers inside so we had plenty of options for seats. The owner was super friendly, was warm and eager to explain the extensive menu items and specials, and brought out our food hot and fresh. I ordered the omelette special ($6.50) and a low-calorie sparkling fruit drink called MASH, lemon peel ginger root flavor ($2.50). The omelette was fresh, flavorful, and not greasy---a good portion for breakfast. Two slices of delicious toast accompanied the dish. The beverage was refreshing, sparkling as it stated, and very gingery--I wanted to buy more to go because that's how I roll but I didn't want extra suitcase weight so I didn't get any more. Tried to eat here Monday after arriving from Indy because it was close to the Revolution Hotel. Yelp said open until 4:30 but it was (disappointingly) already closed a few minutes before 3. Sign on door changed to say 3. (Their hours are limited to M-F 7-3.) We tried again on Friday for breakfast. Small place. You order at the counter and they bring food to you. There are two small round 2-person tables by the front window, 2 armchairs with a round table in the front, two 4-person booths, two 2-person booths and three 2-person tall tables. The grilled cheese looked like something from a TV commercial. The BLT was really good. I got a tuna salad wrap and loved that they didn't overdo it on the mayo. The brand potato chips they get were flipping amazing. The counter service person was very nice. If given the chance we will be back. Edit: I just read a review of this place insinuating they don't want moms with kids and only want men which was not my experience at all.
