No need to drive because the café is located just steps away. Keep in mind, while they are very close, they are not formally apart of the hotel and therefore you cannot charge your purchase to your hotel room. It is perfect for your morning coffee or a quick morning breakfast. The service is very fast and the food is fresh. I enjoy the avocado toast, and any of their Panini sandwiches. Pretty decent coffee and good chocolate chip cookies! The service is always pretty quick here, I've never had to wait in a long line or anything. This is definitely more of a WFH spot, there's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. My main issue is that lemonade is $8. I mean it was good....but it wasn't $8 good. And also it is lemonade- costs just as much as a latte! For me this is more of a wfh spot, I wouldn't go just to get coffee. read more

One of my favorite coffee shops in the North End! My go-to is their hot caramel latte--it's perfect every single time. Sweet but not too sweet, so you don't end up with a stomach ache. My only complaint? It'll run you $7... but honestly, most lattes of this quality come with the same price tag, so I can't be too mad. My friend enjoyed their avocado toast, my cousin loved the harvest salad, and my sister and I are big fans of their pastries--especially the coffee cake. The space itself is gorgeous, with lots of sunny windows and a cozy setup. They have counter seating along the walls and a few tables, but on busy days, finding a seat can be tough. Their WiFi never works for me, so I just use my hotspot--which I suspect a lot of people here do, too. Even with that minor frustration, I still love bringing my laptop when I need a change of scenery while working from home. And on nice days, their outdoor patio is such a cute spot to sit and enjoy your coffee. We stayed at the Battery Wharf for this coffee shop and they are the only reason to stay there. The coffee is delicious, the taste is consistent daily. Their iced americano is smooth and not over roasted. My wife loved their Madagascar vanilla iced latte, I must admit it wasn't too sweet. I had to add a couple shots for it to be something I would drink but that's just me. The staff were all so sweet and so warm everytime you interact with them. This is a really cute spot to grab some coffee and/or baked goods! My friends and I were on a walk along the waterfront by the North End and decided to stop by when we saw how nice it looked from the outside. If you're looking for something fast and easy, this is the place to go. Not to mention, you can take a nice walk along the water while enjoying your drink! Granted we were there in a Saturday afternoon, but it really wasn't too busy, so it would make a nice spot to hang out or study. It could even make a good date spot if you're looking for something on the more casual side. Came here for a late breakfast while staying at the battery, wharf hotel. This café is listed on the hotels website as a dining option so I asked the barista if I was able to put the charge on my hotel room and she looked at me like I was crazy, laughed, and just said "no". Totally fine but I wasn't able to charge it to the hotel room but didn't appreciate how unnecessarily awkward the encounter had to be when I asked a completely innocent question. I had a latte which was fine, and my partner had a mocha which was a little bit better than mine and very lightly sweet. I was considering ordering a sandwich but then realized they were all premade and reheated so we opted for some croissants instead. The plain croissant was fine but the ham and cheese one was insanely oily for some reason. I'd skip this spot unless in a pinch and then I'd say just stick to a coffee. read more

I've come here for the coffee a couple of times and it's pretty good for the price. Their mochas have just the right amount of chocolate and aren't overly sweet. My boyfriend and I came here and tried the caprese sandwich and the sausage egg and cheese sandwich. And I was honestly pretty disappointed the caprese was ok, nothing special really. I came in the afternoon and there was plenty of seating available on a weekday. I ordered the Madagascar vanilla latte, a seasonal drink, and a chocolate croissant. Both my croissant and latte were delicious. The latte was the perfect amount of sweetness for me and very warming during the cold weather. The employees were friendly and very quick with preparing my order. The interior is really cute and there's a lot to purchase as well around the store. A little confused by all the high reviews, tbh. I ordered their seasonal latte, which at the time was the honeybee lavender latte. I could not taste the coffee at ALL. It just tasted like lavendar-flavored steamed milk, which, I learned, I do not like. Had a few sips before I decided to just throw it away. The venue is nice though! Good for chilling and maybe getting some work done. They have some nice big windows that allow for some natural lighting and have a good amount of outlets scattered about the store. They also sell a lot of local art, which I thought was super cute! But overall, I'm not sure I would come back. read more

If you're staying at the hotel on battery war if this is the only place to get morning coffee. The coffee was hot but not particularly strong. Hi I am allergic to eggs and I told the server he suggested a ham and cheese croissant. Back in the hotel room and nibbled on part of the croissant and I pulled out the ham and cheese for the protein then I googled plain croissants and there are egg when you make the dough. I return to the café to tell them and they didn't believe me.. I will never eat there again because there's nothing there in their cases that does not include egg somewhere I'm sharing this for all of you who are also allergic to eggs because servers are treating it like a fad and not a health issue that it is. read more

We were walking the freedom trail and decided to turn back to make our dinner reservation but we stopped at this cafe for a quick refresher. My friend ordered the Blueberry Lemonade and it tasted very good so I ordered one too. It's kind of interesting that you can visually see the differences between the 2 drinks ordered within minutes from each other. One was lighter and the other darker. I am very judgmental in terms of consistency. One clearly had too more blueberry while the other had more lemonade. The café felt very clean as mentioned so we were comfortable stopping in amidst covid to get food to-go.
