We were in need of coffee quick while we were waiting for out ferry to Salem. We spotted a small sign on the sidewalk and popped in. Sooo glad we did. The girl at the counter was super friendly and helpful. We ordered: *An iced latte *An iced green tea *A chocolate croissant *Chocolate zucchini bread *Ham and cheese croissant Everything was so good . . . Better than I've had at some of my usual spots back home It's hard to notice this place, and you could easily walk by. They were preparing a larger catering lunch order and several locals were stopping by, so clearly it's working for them. We may have to come back again tomorrow . . .

This is such a great resting spot! The store is small but they have a few tables outside of the coffee shop. My friends and I ordered some sandwiches, pastries and beverages. We all loved the almond croissant! My iced tea was super refreshing for a hot summer day!

Decent enough coffee. I liked the ordering kiosk that limited the stress of having to order quickly due to the line behind me. My drink was good and although I didn't get any, the pastries looked good. Quick service, too.

Great coffee. The latte was super smooth and perfectly made. The sizes are more like Europe so a small is 8oz. They offer sandwiches, pastries, coffee, and tea. The cafe is super small so I recommend taking it to go. It is a nice affordable place near the aquarium. The staff are super friendly and answered all my questions.

At closing l stopped in this coffee place and asked Nick to surprise me with a good iced coffee. It was so good and flavorful I wish I knew the ingredients! Was well worth the experience

Perfect post-aquarium stop for a coffee. The latte was silky smooth with the perfect foam. Their pastry selection was limited to croissants but that was one tasty chocolate croissant! Seating is limited to two small tables inside and two more outside so not the place to linger but perfect for a quick coffee.

Walked in for a basic black coffee on my way into the office. $3.72 for a small drip coffee, okay it is what it is but then as I walk it starts dripping all over my hand. The lid doesn't actually hold it closed on the back seem. Thankfully, it it wasn't scorching hot, but I had to walk into a Starbucks to grab some napkins.

Convenient location with good breakfast food. The breakfast sandwich and the pastries are fantastic! Coffee isn't the best and orders are sometimes incorrect (wrong milk or size). I really think they need someone else working there as the barista has to manage everything on her own which is crazy given how busy they often are. In the summer you can sit outside and enjoy which is nice. Not a lot of room to drink and eat inside- more of a grab and go spot

Nice menu options not very big inside to sit but quick and easy to grab a drink. I would recommend the blondie flavor for coffee.

She was so excited when she found Cafe Bonjour because they had several gluten-free options on the menu. We took an Uber there right after we landed and were able to walk right in and get a table when they opened, which worked out perfectly because the place started to fill up! It's a cute little spot with plenty of seating inside, and they also had a nice outdoor parklet that would be great in good weather. We asked to sit at the bar so we could watch the cooks in action, which was really fun. The menu had all the classic breakfast favorites like eggs and French toast, along with some lunch options like hamburgers and chicken wraps. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My wife ordered the gluten-free eggs benedict and absolutely loved it. I had the Bonjour omelet, and it was delicious. Overall, this is a fantastic breakfast spot with great food, a fun atmosphere, and solid gluten-free options.

Waiter didn't bring out water, didn't offer any cream or sugar for coffees, and was difficult to flag down to ask for extra plates/utensils. The inside is quite cramped and we were shoved into a tiny little corner. Overall a meh place for brunch. The appeal is the convenience of the location. Other than that I'd stop somewhere else for a brunch.

Prior to visiting Boston, I did my research on things to do and places to eat. Every search for…read morebreakfast spots mentioned Mike & Patty's as a must stop for the best breakfast sandwich you're going to get anywhere. Enough said! I'm a huge breakfast fanatic, especially a good breakfast sandwich or burrito. This is the original location that was started by two friends and has grown to multiple other locations since. We took an Uber here from our hotel. I imagine if you drive over here, parking will be a challenge. It's almost easy to miss. It sits on a corner of a brick building with just writing on the windows. In all my research I did not catch that it is the smallest restaurant in Boston at only 175 square feet. It's basically a room with most of the space taken by the tiny kitchen. There's also a little tiny ledge on the window with a couple of stools for those who may want to dine in. Customers including us took turns walking in and putting in our orders and then stepping out to make room for more people. It had a steady line the whole time we were there. Hours are limited from 7:30-2 so don't delay. Customer service was straight business, kind of the norm in Boston. Their menu is breakfast sandwiches, a couple of burritos and some lunch options like a turkey sandwich, BLT, or a Rueben. For sides, they have hashbrowns or a plain English muffin. For a small menu, they do have quite a few drink options like coffee, tea, juices, and different flavored milks including banana milk which I have never seen. For their food, they use high quality ingredients from local farms and purveyors and have their own bakery for their bread. My eyes fixated on the Breakfast Grilled Crack mainly for the name, but also all the ingredients looked tasty. It was quality eggs, bacon, four cheeses on sourdough bread. I went extra and added sausage to it as well. I also got OJ to wash it down. We realized our only option to eat comfortably was to go back to our hotel lobby to eat. Even with the travel time, the sandwich was nice and warm and the bread was still nice and crispy from the griddle. This sandwich was indeed one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. I almost felt guilty eating it because of how rich and cheesy it was. I would skip the hash brown next time. It did not travel well nor did it have anything special going on with it. Hands down one of my favorite meals of the trip that I would absolutely do again if I am in the area.

Sandwiches with an egg = breakfast right? My go-to is The Fancy: Vital Farms pasture-raised fried eggs, bacon, cheddar, smashed avocado, red onions, and house mayo on toasted Flourhouse multigrain. There were only 2 of us, but we couldn't decide what to order so we got 4 items. The short rib grilled cheese was great, not too fatty (which I prefer). The fries were also good. The lobster sliders were a little too wet for us, but paired well with the fries. We underestimated the size of the salad, but it was a solid salad. My friend really enjoyed the banana bourbon French toast and she's someone that doesn't have a sweet tooth. She really liked the caramelized parts, reminded her of taffy. The French toast was absolutely outstanding!! Easily one of the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, rich, and flavorful, it's a must-order and alone makes this place worth visiting. The huevos rancheros were decent, but not quite at the same level. They felt a bit less authentic than expected, and the hot sauce option was limited to Tabasco. I think a more traditional, homemade Mexican-style salsa would have elevated the dish significantly and made it shine. Because of that, I'm giving North Street Grille 4 stars. The French toast is phenomenal, and with a little more attention to authenticity on certain savory dishes, this spot could easily be a 5-star brunch destination. I'd definitely come back! Especially for the French toast.
