This spot never disappoints! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and comes out quickly. My Bloody Mary was made with fresh tomato juice, which was such a nice touch. The loaded potato omelette was insanely good! It had mashed potatoes folded right into the omelette, making it super flavorful and filling. Definitely recommend checking this place out, and make a reservation because it gets busy!

I would come back for the cinnamon roll pancake alone. Omgeeee. We ordered the speciality cinnamon roll and it was delicious. Eat it last as dessert. I also ordered the sandwich with egg, avocado, bacon and aioli on a brioche bun and I was in heaven. Def recommend ordering the carafes to share instead of individual drinks. Great brunch variety and great staff! The complimentary banana bread was such a treat!

LOADED MASHED POTATO OMELET

Snagged a seat at the bar around 8:30 am on a Saturday and the place was already packed so would recommend arriving early or having a reservation. I tried the loaded mashed potato omelet, which included mashed potatoes, bacon, chives, cheddar cheese and sour cream on top. It was tasty, though would maybe opt for a different omelet next time as the mashed potatoes consistency began to blend/overpower the fluffiness of the eggs. The flavors were otherwise great and the portions were large. It also came with a side of toast and home fries which were a bit underseasoned but nice and crispy. Staff were welcoming and service was attentive. A casual but busy spot to grab a typical diner breakfast!

CHICKEN & WAFFLE SLIDERS cheddar, bacon, sriracha maple, served with home fries

North Street Grille is a solid brunch spot! There was a wait, but we got seated sooner than expected, and the service was great from start to finish. They start you off with complimentary house-made banana bread, which is a nice touch. Their drink flights looked amazing. We weren't in the mood to drink this time, but I'd love to try them on a future visit. The banana bread French toast was the star: super flavorful, but very sweet. If you don't have a sweet tooth, this one may not be for you. The chicken and waffle sliders had great flavor, though the waffles were a little dense. The potatoes served with the chicken and waffles were seasoned so well! The short rib hash (not pictured) was amazing and probably my other favorite. Heads up: the portions are huge! Looking back, we would have been perfectly happy splitting just the French toast and the short rib hash. Come hungry or plan to share. I'd definitely come back.

The food at North Street Grille was really good! Reservations are definitely a must because this place gets busy. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming, and our waitress, Chloe, was very pleasant and provided great service. I really enjoyed our experience and would definitely come back if I'm ever visiting Boston again!

Huevos Rancheros, side of the Chorizo, a side of scrambled eggs, and the French toast.

I visited North Street Grille in the North End of Boston and overall had a really solid brunch experience. We ordered the French toast and the huevos rancheros. The French toast was absolutely outstanding!! Easily one of the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, rich, and flavorful, it's a must-order and alone makes this place worth visiting. The huevos rancheros were decent, but not quite at the same level. They felt a bit less authentic than expected, and the hot sauce option was limited to Tabasco. I think a more traditional, homemade Mexican-style salsa would have elevated the dish significantly and made it shine. Because of that, I'm giving North Street Grille 4 stars. The French toast is phenomenal, and with a little more attention to authenticity on certain savory dishes, this spot could easily be a 5-star brunch destination. I'd definitely come back! Especially for the French toast.

Meat Lover's Omelet

Food was excellent as usual and very fast! The meat lover omelette is a go to and the build your own omelette that was delicious too. Cocktails on point, there were seasonal drinks too. One host seated us as I had a reservation and another of host was rude like I have a group coming and I need 'this' table... I believe one shouldn't give attitude to customers maybe communication with other hosts/peers so that the team is all on the same page. So that started the morning off a bit strange... it is a small establishment, tight spaces, reservations recommended.

We looked for a place to have a late breakfast before the days adventures and decided to get a reservation the day before to give them a try. The restaurant was busy but not crazy like during a weekend. We sat right away and everyone from the host to our server were friendly and attentive. The restaurant is small (as with most cities with small places) but we did not mind. As for food we ordered the scrambled and cheddar on a croissant, 2 eggs with turkey sausage, mixed greens (extra) and a pancake (extra), latte (they only have regular milk) and a regular coffee. We did not get to try their complimentary piece of banana bread, but the food was fresh, made to order, flavorful and a good portion. Definitely give them a try for a good breakfast in Boston!

D BURRITO PANCAKES

Amazing little spot! Don't be deterred by the line it moves fast and the food is worth the wait! Such creative twists on breakfast classics, a "must stop" place.

CALIFORNIA OMELET
Crystal T.

This place draws a very large crowd, and I was excited to finally try the food. I ordered the California omelet with home fries and a cinnamon roll pancake. The dishes were flavorful, but some of the flavors overpowered other components of the meal, so I would try different items next time. I also tasted the loaded potato omelet and the Chunky Monkey pancake. I thoroughly enjoyed both of those. The service was fast, but one downside was the number of gnats flying around the restaurant, which was off-putting and definitely affected my overall impression. The restaurant is very small, so I highly recommend making a reservation if you plan to visit.

So we had a couple people recommend this place and so we gave it a try. As I walked inside I realize that I had been here before, just 8 years ago! I remember the service was fast and the food was unreal and boy have they not lost their charm. The service was extremely fast and the food was in another level. This place has something for everyone and the food is so filling and fresh! It's a must

Top to bottom: Short rib grilled cheese, banana bourbon French toast, lobster roll sliders, Santa Fe salad
Shirley L.

Small cozy restaurant. Perfect place for brunch. Service was great and attentive. Gave complimentary banana bread (which was very yummy, moist, not too sweet). There were only 2 of us, but we couldn't decide what to order so we got 4 items. The short rib grilled cheese was great, not too fatty (which I prefer). The fries were also good. The lobster sliders were a little too wet for us, but paired well with the fries. We underestimated the size of the salad, but it was a solid salad. My friend really enjoyed the banana bourbon French toast and she's someone that doesn't have a sweet tooth. She really liked the caramelized parts, reminded her of taffy. We killed as much as we could!

My husband and I had a great breakfast here today. We shared the Boston cream pancakes and the banana bourbon French toast-both of which were rich and sweet, in the best way. We probably could have just eaten the top pancake with all the toppings and ignored the two underneath it, but I don't know if you can get that one as a single pancake (other flavors you could). We ate at the bar, and the server was so friendly and nice. It's a tiny place with some tables and a bar counter, so get there early if it's a weekend and you don't want to wait long.

Do they having dedicated parking or valet? Thanks!

It's all street parking. Recommend to park in a nearby parking garage and walk over.

Do they do takeout?

They have take out so you're in luck! I asked while I was eating brunch this morning. Call in any day of the week they are open. This is super convenient because they get quite busy. Especially on the weekend.

Great meal to end the upper US marathon vacation!!…read more We had no idea where we may end up eating but the trusty Yelp app led us to another victory dance!! Yay for Yelp!! We had just cruised the nearby mall center thingy and were hungry on our last night in Boston. We saw the sites and did the things. Boston is a one of a kind place for sure. This was the choice. It was a great choice! Beautifully decorated and oh so chill inside. We have a thing that we do at places with great appetizers. We just order a bunch of those and feast. That's what we did here! We started with some raw oysters. They were very nice indeed. Island Creek Oysters from Duxbury MA. is where they came from. We love the little local Junts a lot and had them all over the northeast while we were there. We also had Crab Rangoon Dip. Very good, lots of fresh lump crabmeat, with a house chili crisp, scallions, and wonton chips. Loved it! They we had some fantastic mussels to close the deal! The flavor was amazing! I wish I could have them every single day! We also had a bowl of BPH Clam Chowder. CC is one of my favorite things and this place did not disappoint in any way! Delicious!! The server was great. She took great care and made our last night in Boston an unforgettable experience. If you are near, you should go right now! Why aren't you there yet? '26 - 108

Not only did she not kick us out, she proceeded to help him understand how a bloody mary should be constructed. She might have thought he was special. Stern, but fair.
