    Fancy
    Alyanna T.

Tried Mike and Patty's once several years ago at their original Bay Village location. Today, I got the Fancy sandwich - TASTE: 4/5 - a solid breakfast sandwich combo of salty bacon, strong red onion, and comforting house mayo TEXTURE: 5/5 - so satisfying! Medium-fried eggs, melted cheddar cheese, and toasted multigrain bread PRICE: 4/5 - total came to $13 SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - lots of toppings, but not a super thick sandwich unfortunately SERVICE: 4/5 - no line at 1pm on a Saturday. Ordered at the self-service kiosk and sandwich was ready in 5 minutes ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - one of many options at the bustling food hall PARKING: 4/5 - got a metered street parking spot a block down High St

    Fancy and Loaded Hashbrown

Forever will be my favorite breakfast sandwich in Boston. I ordered the fancy which has egg, cheese, bacon, avocado, onion, and sauce. It has been my favorite since I first tried it. I also tried the loaded hashbrown today and LOVED it. The service at Mike and Patty's is always great. I've been upward of 10 times and the staff is always super nice and my food is always ready quickly despite how busy they usually are. I went to the High Street Place location which has a bunch of food stalls, so it's different than some of their original locations. That said, it is really nice inside the food hall and it's nice to have a table to sit at.

Found this place on Yelp and liked the name since I know a mile and Patti! Located in the financial district, it is one of many food places under one roof. Really delicious breakfast sandwich with homemade English muffin, two strips of bacon, perfectly cooked over easy egg, cheese and siracha. The cold brew was good too!

So don't get me wrong the sandwich was delicious but fifteen dollars for a sandwich that was smaller than my hand and not even stuffed?? Nah fam that's crazy. I like the high street food court, it's very busy at lunch time and has long lines but it's chill around breakfast/dinner.

Seriously, run don't walk here! I kept hearing they have the best breakfast sandwich in Boston so I had to try it. The fancy was AMAZING. Plenty of bacon, crisp bread and not greasy at all. It is a little messy but that didn't take away from how much I enjoyed it. I can't wait to go back and try more of their sandwiches. The location in High Street Place was a quick and easy stop on the way to work.

Ordered from DoorDash received a RAW doughy thick tortilla. Disgusting. I threw it away.

Banana milk was so good! light flavor and creamy. The benny was also good! Tastes like a burger in a sense, wish i had gotten the Fancy so I could try more toppings.

I got the Fancy and it was delicious! They are pretty quick making them and you can tell it's fresh. The food hall is cool with plenty of options if you want a beverage or snack of a different variety to accompany your sandwich.

    The Baller
    John H.

Solid breakfast sandwiches though bit on the pricier side. I ordered the baller during my visit. The English muffin was perfectly toasted and the cheese and eggs were griddled to perfection. Only knock was that there wasn't much bacon added. Enjoying the sandwich in the High St food court atmosphere was really nice though

Love the gooey, crispy and savory of the breakfast sandwiches. Even the Nutella was yum. Our favorite was the fancy. Note the cheese pull.

    The Vegan One

Loved Mike and Patty's! Quick service, fun location, and tasty sandwich! A little on the greasy side, but can't turndown a vegan breakfast sandwich!

She was so excited when she found Cafe Bonjour because they had several gluten-free options on the menu. We took an Uber there right after we landed and were able to walk right in and get a table when they opened, which worked out perfectly because the place started to fill up! It's a cute little spot with plenty of seating inside, and they also had a nice outdoor parklet that would be great in good weather. We asked to sit at the bar so we could watch the cooks in action, which was really fun. The menu had all the classic breakfast favorites like eggs and French toast, along with some lunch options like hamburgers and chicken wraps. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My wife ordered the gluten-free eggs benedict and absolutely loved it. I had the Bonjour omelet, and it was delicious. The smell of bacon was too good to keep moving past it and we decided to head inside. Best happy accident!! There's a small park with shaded benches about 2 blocks away (Elliot Norton Park) which is a great place to sit down and devour the food. I ordered the Mission Breakfast Burrito and it was delicious. As of August 2026, the website lists the burrito as $14, but the price on the in-person menu was $16. I would give the burrito 4 out of 5 stars because of the way it was wrapped - about a third of the burrito was just egg and cheese and the toppings (avocado, red onion, hash browns, salsa verde, crema) were crammed on the other side of the burrito. If there was a way for the burrito to be wrapped so all the ingredients were more evenly distributed - this would easily be a 5/5 breakfast burrito. One random detail that stuck out to me was that their drinks in their refrigerator were very cold - no lukewarm sodas here! I would come back here to try their signature "Fancy" sandwich. Overall, this is a very solid breakfast spot in Boston!

It looks like there are quite a few long time customers to this place, which demonstrates that the quality of the food here is probably very consistent. The service here was awesome. Nothing sounds more authentic than Theo's Cozy Corner. Since this was our first time in the area, we decided to drive there. Honestly, we probably could have gotten here faster if we walked. Parking is quite challenging. Luckily we found a 2 hour parking spot. And we did end up walking through the neighborhood to get there. The name, Cozy Corner is the perfect visual of this joint. It quaint, intimate and cozy. There's a handful of tables. A few bar chairs at the breakfast bar. With limited seating, we were lucky and got a table before everyone decided to pop up. It got busy super fast with guests also waiting outside. After checking out the menu, I got the steak omelet. My daughter got the eggs florentine. With her meal, coffee comes with it. She doesn't drink coffee so I took the coffee and she got an orange juice. We got our drinks and chilled till our food came out. I was quite surprised that potatoes don't automatically come with my omelet. For 23 bucks, you'd think that a few potatoes would be included. So my plate looked pretty basic with just my omelet. Maybe I have been spoiled by all my local restaurants back home to be automatically expecting them on my plate. But 4 extra bucks for potatoes was a hard pass for me. My omelet was good. There was peppers, mushrooms and cheese. Plenty of steak and it was tender. Cheese was melty in the middle. Peppers gave it a nice crunchy element to it. The mushrooms were canned but were still a nice addition. It was seasoned nicely. Overall it was a good omelet but that's all it was, just a steak omelet. It did get busy super fast so I didn't get a refill on my coffee. A refill would have been nice but they were juggling a handful of people and never was checked on. My food was good. My daughter enjoyed your florentine. Breakfast here was a great start to my stay here in Boston. I know this joint has been around for a long time ago it's great I got to experience it with my daughter.
