There is now a really successful and well run business in that spot. This is it!!! I visited today and was absolutely delighted to discover incredibly low prices with absolutely flawless produce. Mangos were 99¢ to $1.39 depending on size, a full pint of blueberries were $2.99, plantains were 3/$1, 4 mini cucumbers ended up being $1, tomatoes were $2.99 where folks at other stores charge double for the same thing!! I can't quote you on all the prices accurately, but if you know your fruits and veggies the way I do, you'll notice that the prices are generally 20-50% lower than other stores. Also - FRESH dates. Yeah. My American ignorance was challenged today, folks. I'm glad. The owner gave me one to try and it was great! I'm specifically writing this review because I really really want this business to thrive. Please go visit!! You'll be happy! :) The owner genuinely cares about the customers being happy, the quality of the produce leaving his store, and the prices are fantastic. What more could you possibly ask for?

Bottom line: they are doing this the right way. I had no physical contact with anyone so all i needed to do was wash the groceries when I got home, which I do anyway! Great service. Decent selection for a country store. Friendly and helpful staff. Much safer than going to the grocery store for us and for them. I highly recommend this business.

It had a dip that had a quart of yogurt has some slicing cheese on burgers. It had the kind of crackers it had a cream cheese. It had about seven different items in the bag for $25. I really felt that was a very good value Because it's directly from the farmer. They had a lot of good deals today. They are fresh local meats and cheeses pies from humble pie company and waffle. They also had ice cream from like five different companies. This was a lot of fun so glad I bought the ticket. It was only $10 and well worth the price. My intentions had to take my grandkids up here so they can see the cows and stuff and they can get ice cream a different day.

Fresh high quality produce and an amazing selection for such a small place. If they don't have it you don't want it. You can choose only 8 items on a list if you do the CSA. Only 8. As a sample, one item has been: one zucchini, one yellow squash, one garlic clove, 3 beets, one raddhicio, one cabbage, etc. Given the $43 a week CSA price, then each item is about $5.25. So, if you do the CSA you are paying $5.25 for ONE zucchini, $5.25 for one garlic clove, $5.25 for 3 beets, $5.25 for a green cabbage. I have done CSAs for over a decade and the idea used to be that a person will "invest" in the farm up front and it it is a good year then there is a bounty of veggies, if it is a bad year you help the farmer by ensuring they have a set fund to work from. This has not been a bad year. Sadly, this farm does not allow the CSA investor to share in the harvest. Instead we pay over $5 for a single zucchini or garlic clove while we see other shoppers who didn't do the CSA be able to pay less. If you joined this CSA and are disappointed, please don't give up on CSAs. There are much better ones out there that respect the CSA investor.
