    Raspberry picking
    Alyssa F.

Set outside of the center of town, Nourse Farms is a great spot to purchase some local veggies/pastries/pantry items and to pick some of Nourse Farm's own fruit. We stopped in on the first day of raspberry season and had a fantastic afternoon picking raspberries in between rain showers. I love that they let you bring your own picking containers (save on some of that cardboard) and it was a nice and very "non-commercial" picking experience unlike some of the larger farms in the area. My husband and I were the only two people in the raspberry patch (is that what you call an area where raspberries grow?!), but we didn't feel lonely as the cows offered some frequent vocalizations during our picking. The cows made our day and we spent a few minutes after picking just to watch them! Nourse Farm is a great experience. The fruit was delicious and made some fabulous jam. Not only is the product fantastic, but the people working at the farm are wonderful! I can't wait to go back for blueberry picking!

Love it! They have a wonderful variety of fresh veggies and fruits. The Vegi Food Truck is also a MUST try! Beautiful little peaceful farm.

Lots of blueberries for picking! Really hot in the sun though. No entrance fee, unlike some other local PYO, which is nice!

The pizza was cooked perfectly except for one slice, it wasn't raw or anything but it could have used a little more time. Overall we really enjoyed it! Our server was on top of everything, fast and friendly! Fresh decor and an amazing outdoor area! Giving 5 stars, more like 4.5 but I'll round up. Definitely worth a stop to Cold Harbor!!

Impressive contrast between the patty's crusted exterior and still-juicy interior. Arguably overdone on the outside, but I'll take that all day every day as long as the juiciness is there. Moderate amount of butter on the Texas toast standing in for rye. Somewhat-traditional condiments, but with a few liberties taken (caramelized onion, cheddar jack, bacon). Not elite, but solid enough job and probably among the better patty melts I've had on my recent quest. -- CH Cheeseburger: Tried twice, this wasn't just a good cheeseburger for the 'burbs or a good cheeseburger for a brewery. This is a good cheeseburger, period, and a very good one. The first thing I really like about it is that it's a thick, full-size patty, and not the overexposed smashburger that's made the thick ones nearly extinct. The second is that they understand and deliver on the concept of textural contrast: crusty exterior and pink, very juicy interior. They also season it just enough to notice, butter that griddled bun just enough to notice, and don't screw up the vegetable additions. The cheese is there but unremarkable. The bun is soft and flexible. Overall, one of the best burgers in MetroWest and Worcester. -- Fries: The frozen variety, neither great nor horrific. They got the job done. -- Beer: I like their offerings, led by their flagship Juice Freak, served properly in attractive glassware. I have other breweries with beers I love, but none of them has a burger I love, and I'm already falling in love with this one. Service was excellent every time, once at a table and twice at the bar. Note: If you use Siri to get directions here by name rather than address, she'll tell you that they've closed, but that's because they moved recently. They're open.

The apartment itself is nice and comfortable and full of light and my neighbors are nice and I love…read morethat there is such diversity and it makes me happy to see all the kids outside playing and all the people walking their dogs, but there are multiple things that do not work for me. This apartment complex is for you if you are fine with: - poisons being sprayed all over the common green space areas where children play and people and dogs walk; - "landscapers" mercilessly mutilating what could be beautiful trees and flowering shrubs into small lumps; - the super loud sound of leaf blowers; - alarms going off for months without maintenance doing anything about it and them acting like you are the problem for asking them to fix the alarm and make the horrendous noise stop; - maintenance not communicating about the work they did, nor seeking clarification with you about the work that needs to be done, nor when they will be in your apartment doing the work, and then maintenance accusing you of being disrespectful for requesting clear communication; - automatic toxic room "fresheners" in the fitness rooms (I had so been looking forward to using them but did not want to breathe the toxins); - crazy loud HVAC units constantly blasting noise making you feel like you are in a non-stop giant engine room in your own home; - ridiculously bright light pollution that is hard to block out at night and visually assaults you when you look out your windows or open your door; there is no reason for such a multitude of super bright, white lights and it is a waste of electricity. When I moved in, there were several things broken in my apartment and things that still needed to be cleaned. Over the first month, maintenance was responsive and did the repairs and cleaning (like the ceiling fan that I could not reach to clean was caked in thick dirt and dust and grease, and the bathroom fan did not work because the painters sprayed the bumpy ceiling paint spray all over it), but they left all the dirt and debris for me to clean up. I never had that experience before where maintenance workers expected me to clean up their mess. It would be useful for them to have a checklist to go through before a tenant moves in to make sure that everything is working and clean. Other than that, the location is good. Visually the aesthetics of the buildings are okay. There is plenty of parking. I like that there are many trees around and I can go for long walks in the neighborhood. I like that they plant flowers at different locations there. The price is expensive but bearable.
