I love Boomers! I always order either a BBQ chicken pizza, Pepperoni Pizza, or a Hawaiian. All of their pizzas are fantastic! They really seperate themselves from other local pizza spots. I've had their chicken fingers and they were enjoyable, although much more comparable to other pizza spots. I look forward to trying a sub there soon. read more

So I haven't been here in over 20 years but I remember it being ok back then. I ordered a turkey club and curly fries for delivery so I can't really speak to what the place looks like but the food was great. The delivery was fast and I got all my food hot which is a major plus. The sandwich was a big fat sandwich, the kind you might expect from a place with the name "Boomer's" and it was very tasty. The curly fries stayed hot and crispy but otherwise were fairly standard. I'll have to try more of their food in the future but for now I'd say it's a good place to eat, or at least get a delivery from. read more

I went to WPI for my undergrad and every Saturday after competing in T&F we would go here for dinner. This place is not just great but its consistently so. I recommend this place to anyone I know passing through Worcester. Their signature Blue Pizza or (my personal favorite) their Blue Calzone is to die for. I literally travelled the world and couldn't find a better calzone. It's the first thing I got to eat when I came back and I live an hour away. Part of my order was not delivered, driver said he would return with the missing item, he didn't. The food that was delivered was all burned. I called to ask about the missing item and said the amount of the missing item could be just taken off of my bill. Whomever answered the phone said ok, but the amount was never adjusted. We were in town for Cheer competition and they did a great job packaging food for 24 girls and writing everyone's name on lunch orders. Subs are great price for amount of food you get. I order from here a lot and every time I do something is wrong. I just had a pizza delivered today 1/26/24 at 12:38pm, the entire pizza top was all slid to one side and was a giant greasy mess. Used to love this place until a couple recent experiences. Ordered the regular Buffalo chicken pizza and went to pick it up and they made the wrong pizza. Rather than offering to re make or solve the problem, the cashier angrily blamed me for the inconvenience. She repeatedly argued with me that she got the order right and I switched the order upon picking it up, and continued to shout remarks at me. Having experience in a restaurant myself, I value customer service and know how important it is! Before exiting the girl continued to loudly speak to her colleagues about the incident, very unprofessional and just sad. I ended up leaving empty handed and disappointed. read more

At the time of me writing this review this place had 4 stars which I have no idea how. I've ordered a delivery of a buffalo chicken pizza and a salad on a Monday which not only came cold (mind you I am 1.5 miles away) but also the food was subpar. I've ordered a Caesar salad which barely had any dressing in it, if any at all. The pizza had a hard crust and was very greasy. The food took one and a half hour to get to me. The only reason I gave this place 2 stars ( and that's me being generous) is because the pizza tasted a bit better than cardboard. Raise your standards guys. read more

Needed to feed the child while mom was at an appointment in the area which game me the perfect excuse to visit Boomers. We walked in around 1 pm and in spite of a few people waiting inside, we were able to slide right up to the counter and place our order. Ordering was quite easy, the kid is five and doesn't care much for toppings on her pizza. We grabbed a couple of seats at the counter near the TV to keep her occupied while we waited for our food. We only waited about ten minutes when our pizza was brought right out to us along with a couple of plates and a warning to be careful as it was hot. He even brought us the napkin container, not sure if it was for me or the five year old. This may have been the first time in ten years I've has a pizza here. More of a Greek style, with plenty of cheese, it was very fulfilling. Staff is nice, prices are reasonable, definitely stop in if you are in the area. read more

I order from these guys 1 a week. I only live 3 minutes from them so ordering from them and using their own website to order it makes it cheap compared to uber and Grubhub it's worth it. It's the best pizza place in the city. I have been thoroughly impressed by their food every time. Prices are completely fair and honestly cheap for the quality they provide. As a visitor of Worcester, MA I was looking for a "town-gem"-like restaurant in the city. Luckily, I found this place and was very pleased. I ordered the Super italian Stallion with jalapenos and it was very very delicious! Since I am a fan of spicy food, I also liked the "kick" of heat the peppers gave. The sandwich was actually A LOT bigger and more filling than I expected (I expected something like a 6-inch Subway sandwich) but I was wrong! The half loaf italian bread is big and filled with the meat and vegetables---thus for leftovers. Thus, for about $7 I was able to have lunch and food for a later time. What I really liked was the online website. I was able to log-in using my Facebook ID---thus I did not have to create an alternate account just to place an order online. (They also respected Facebook privacy which I appreciated.) Ordering online was very simple and quick and the website is clear and not confusing. I liked having the option to pick-up my food or have it delivered. (Because I was new in town and the weather was nice, I decided to walk there to pick it up so I can explore the city.) I also really liked how they give you the option to track your order if it's being delivered. If you chose to pick up your order, you are given an estimated time of availability. Dined here for the first time with my fiance 2 weeks ago (early April 2018). I ordered a Grilled Chicken Greek Salad. The chicken was juicy & delicious, perfectly seasoned. The veggies, olives, & feta cheese were fresh and the Boomer's Syrian dressing was good. It was very lemony! My fiance ordered the Steak and Cheese Sub. It was great! Not greasy, nice & lean meat, veggies were fresh, bread perfectly toasted. They filled it a lot too which he appreciated. I took away 1 star because the pepperoni pzza my son ordered was overcooked. The cheese was not nice & gooey, it was almost burnt, & they were cheap with the pepperonis. Last night, we ordered the Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo Penne. We used Boomers catering for my daughter's soccer team. They catered a dinner and a lunch on subsequent days. They did an amazing job. They were very prompt in the delivery. The food was excellent as well as more than enough. We had 30 people and ended up giving almost a half of tray of pasta to the hotel staff because their trays are so large and deep. The salads have so many veggies and the fruit salad was amazing. I highly recommend them if you are in the Worcester area. read more

I bought a ziti baked pasta yesterday and they cover on top was plastic they didn't pack properly. As the pasta were really hot the plastic cover melted and my pasta were covered with plastic. this is the second time it has happened to me. This is one of those places that I kind of forget about these days now that I'm not living nearby. Their food is delicious, simple and very quick. The guy who owns it now changed the pizza dough recipe when he bought it and although I haven't had it in several months, I remember trying it after it changed hands and thinking how good it was. The owner actually blushed when I told him I thought it was tasty. It's one of those hole in the wall sandwich places that is great in college areas and with WPI and Becker being right there I'm sure they see a lot of business. They probably have 10 tables, it's not really a place you'd sit down, but I have and it's clean. I used to walk down there when I worked in the center of Worcester and we would sometimes eat there instead of bringing food back, especially if there was good office gossip to be had. Today I picked up two of their Chick Happens rollups which are huge things on oversized pitas with grilled chicken (you can see it being sliced up and grilled), hummus, scallions and lettuce. It's supposed to have onions, but any raw onion makes me a little sick, so I order it without those. It's really tasty. Most of their sandwiches are huge and should probably be split if you're not in heavy training for something athletic or counting it as two meals, but I'm running on a deficit with the latest heat wave and needed the sustenance.
