been eating here 20 years... they are different but still great.. I'd eat a pizza here any day.. never once had a bad experience

The best around. You can't find better grinders anywhere, you just can't. All the grinders are packed with whatever you order. The pizza is crisp and cooled to perfection every time. They serve the best meatball grinders, I dare you to find a better meatball grinder. Steve's, Service with a smile! read more

Steve's Pizza: The Legend Lives On Steve Paskalis might have left the building, but apparently, he forgot to take the flavor with him. It's like the recipes are haunted, and frankly, I'm fine with being possessed by this crust. The "Days of Steve" are officially over, but the pizza didn't get the memo. The sauce still has more personality than my neighbors, and the cheese pull is impressive enough to win an Oscar. The Verdict: Steve is gone, but the deliciousness stayed behind to do all the heavy lifting. Still the best slice in West Boylston--no seance required. read more

Usually order here and pizza is ok but this time I went with my husband and girls we ordered a pizza it was to thick and did not tastes good at all can't see it in this picture but the slices were to thick also hate that they don't accept card only cash smh there chicken tenders are really good read more

Large Pizza 3 topping was fantastic. Hamburger, mushroom & onion. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will return for another takeout. read more

Steve's Pizza used to be the best in this area. The service is good but the food is no longer the best. I ordered a large turkey and Bacon grinder and there were only 2 small pieces of bacon. Very disappointing. Next time I ordered a pizza and the peppers were still hard, not cooked through. Then it's always been difficult because they only accept cash. I don't carry much cash anymore! It's not necessary but it is necessary for Steve's. read more

Gotta be honest...the cheesesteak was an abundance of food - tremendous portion. However, the sandwich was dry and tasteless. I really was disappointed, truly wanted to like this place. Sorry, guys. read more

Had the misfortune of a friend showing up with Steve's food as his contribution to the evening. A little background, I live near the place and have given it 4 tries in the last 20 years. Every single one was a fail. BUT......the times I have been inside have almost balanced it out just from having the privilege of observing the shitshow. Anyhow, friend shows up with this and it's just as bad as previously remembered. At least I could skip the customer service portion. I recommend you drive 30 seconds further north to get decent pizza. I hear their subs are ok but I don't want to gamble on it. Simply put, I wouldn't wipe my feet on this stuff. read more

Service always fast, and with a smile. Food is always good and they are reliable! Order in or take out. Cash only, but that's ok for me. ATM on site if needed! Their pizza is tasty; their tuna fish is fresh and delicious! Fish and Chips always a good deal. read more

Love the place.. Great people.. Great food.. There's a beer waiting for me by the time i get to the counter - always.. Can't say enough good things about Steve, his place, his people, or the food they prepare!! read more

Ill start by pay attention to their fake "old school" phone.. (which by the way I loved the thought of it, even after they F'd up, because you know, I love old school.). Anyway, I called and ordered a lg chicken salad sub with lettuce, tomato, toasted and a lg stk&cheese, extra cheese, mushrooms, light peppers, onions and mayo, toasted.... I was so hungry after working all day, overtime in fact, and decided after 15 min, I wanted onion rings... so I called back to order them. The response I got was, "oh I'm glad you called back because we don't have any chicken salad left". I asked why they didn't call me to tell me.. THEY CLAIM, they can't see your number because the number is gone wnd they don't have caller ID. Which I STILL wasn't knocking them for it, (because again, I'm old school and can appreciate it.) Well I got home and the "change sub" because they didn't have chicken salad, didnt have extra cheese, no mayo, no peppers, no mushrooms, no onions.. no real biggie, but kinda is.. so before I could even ask, they put "STEVE" on the phone. He told me I was ridiculous and I asked him, if he was going to listen.. he told me to "fuckoff" and hung up on me!! Steve is a business owner! There is no food good enough (not saying they have horrible food, but it's SURELY not the best) that makes it ok to treat a buying customer this way!! STEVE HUNG UP ON ME!! you can bet your bottom dollar, I drover BACK there and told them I want my money back! Which was given to me without hesitation after the clerk (definitely on drugs) yelled and swore at me!! UNACCEPTABLE! I could've handled the mistake, we are human. I have been customer service since 14 years old.. and either you have it or you don't. As a business owner, the customer is always right, even when you don't agree 100%. I surely wasn't wrong more than 3% and STEVES PIZZA HAS GONE DOWN HILL. They have drug addicts working there and have no respect for there customers. #DOBETTER read more

Classic Worcester take-out pizza. I personally think it has the best pizza around, but most people rave about the subs. The fish and chips are also good, but you need to reserve ahead on Fridays. (Steve's is actually located in West Boylston, a few hundred feet from the famous O'Connor's Irish pub and restaurant.) The nearby Route 190 on/off ramp brings you almost directly to Steve's front door. read more

Come here for the pizza, do not stay for the service. We came here and ordered a couple of pizzas for dinner. The person on the phone was rude and when we finished ordering, they told us the pickup time and just hung up - no anything else, no see you then, tell your family I said hello...nothing. When we arrived, same gruff demeanor. So weird to be this way in a people serving business, but whatever. On to the pizzas. The pizzas were totally fine, not the best ever, but not the worst. The pizzas completely did the job required and all of the kiddos at home seemed pleased and the adults munched away as well. read more

Foods, good but inconsistent with quality, big portions though. Service though is slightly unwelcoming but not bad, very fast paced and food takes a while to come out. The place itself is very hot and grimy, flies everywhere, and just dirty feeling. read more

Quick service everything you order is plentiful and fresh prices r cheaper then other places never had a bad experience at Steve' pizza

Steves Pizza is the best. It is like going back in time. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and kind. Great sense of humor. The subs are incredible oh and let's not forget the pizza and the giant HOMEMADE meatballs. See you there! read more

Delicious food- quick service. Only wish they had an option to order and view the menu online.

Horrible pizza. The sauce tastes like someone went to the supermarket a bought a jar of Ragu™. The cheese is flavorless and what veggies are placed on the pie are stale. The whole pie was undercooked and gave me the impression that it was a frozen pizza that was removed from the oven too soon. The pizza I got on "pizza day" in high school is better than this pizza. The subs are not that impressive. Then there's the staff. Almost without exception, they had rather large chips on their shoulders. Also, they really need to refrain from using the F-bomb as a comma. This is not based on one visit. I've worked in West Boylston since 1994 and have lived there since 2011. They are less than a mile from my home and I go clear across town just to avoid their inconsistent product. read more

The men who work here (for the most part) are jerks, I'll never understand how they survive. Pizza is greek (and decent for greek pizza if thats your thing) and the subs are big but I'll never understand why they are consistently just jerks to people. We would probably order from them more but no one wants to give them our money anymore. I was walking through the parking lot to head inside two days ago and a woman walking out was yelling about how she'll never go in there again and give them her money. I guess Im not the only one who feels that way. Go across the street to NOLA for a po boy or down the street in either direction for better options where you dont feel like a chump giving them your money. read more

Wish I could give negative stars, even the one star is pushing it. Unnecessarily rude employee, stated the word "gross" to an order placed and ready to pay for, thanks guy...wasn't asking. Who judges food orders at a pizza shop??? Even then, keep it to yourself - professionalism at its finest. Ordered sub with side of judgement, apparently. Won't make that mistake again. Inside of shop is lacking, dim lit and sad. Sad just like the lack of appropriate employee behavior. If you are looking for amazing food, and exceptional customer service with employees that care and are completely and utterly positively responsive and respectful. Take your business and travel a couple miles further down the road to the Plaza where Campfire is on the right. AJ's Pizzeria SO thankful and grateful for this place!!! Never a order lacking, food is delicious and it's all made with love, appreciation and most importantly respect. read more

Very obvious that looks is not a priority For a business. It's not the cleanest place. Dull, dingy atmospher. The Cash register is filthy Which your made fully aware of because you need to lean over the trash can to pay for your food. The food has always been good here & they give you plenty, but they could clean up the place. Most people are friendly & welcoming but there is one older guy who' s personality makes you feel like your putting him out & he can't wait for you to leave. I will think twice before going back. I've had him before & for what customers pay we shouldn't be subject to negative employees. I know there are idiots out there that everyone has to deal with but a smiles goes a long way. read more

I have been a customer of Steve's for decades. The food is constantly great. The portions are large. Today I had a pastrami sub. It was very lean and cooked perfectly. The price was reasonable. My favorites are their meatball pizza and subs. Their fish and chips are excellent. Please note that I have to drive half an hour to get there. Please try them. You won't be disappointed. read more

The subs are delicious and HUGE! Definitely worth the price for the amount of food you get. Ordered 2 pizzas for pickup last night. When ordering I asked how many slices in a pie, I was told 6, so I ordered two pies. The pizzas are a little larger than a personal pizza cut into 8, not 6, small slices. The vodka pizza was slightly better than the regular pizza, which tasted like sauce from a jar. Way to upsell! Almost $40 for 2 pizzas, and very overpriced for the quality. Needless to say, we won't be ordering again. read more

This place is great, subs and pizza are both very good. If you are dining in they have beer.

Love Steve's I drive 20 minutes to get the fish and chips which is always plentiful and delicious. I even like the coleslaw which isn't overly vinegary which is a plus. My son enjoyed a steak and cheese sub which is loaded. The rough edges of the workers add to the ambience. It's no frills and a neighborhood joint that makes great food with outstanding portions. What more could you want. Oh yeah only downfall is cash only so just plan accordingly. read more

This place had been around forever because they just do it right. Their pizza and subs are consistently good. I stop in whenever I'm home visiting family. This past time I had the small lobster sub. Thankfully I didn't get the large! It was huge and overflowing with lobster salad. read more

Steve's always seems to the first stop my husband and I make during our yearly visits to his hometown. After a long flight, the only thing that would be better than a grinder and broccoli bites would be the ability to order without the extreme attitude. There's no excuse for making your customers feel like they are a bother or an inconvenience. If you feel like experiencing the NE version of the Seinfeld Soup Nazi, head on down to Steve's. We've always kept our orders simple and with minimal eye contact so best of luck with that extra bread request. read more

When this place opened in the mid 80's I would get a meatball sub (bulkie roll back when) if I was in the area and probably ate 3 dozen or so before I moved away, I never bothered trying anything else because the meatball sub was so damned wonderfull. 35 years passed and I was back in town and the meatball sub was just as I remember it !!!! read more
