Pizza by the slice is good but the guy who actually heating up the pizza slices,needs to focus on doing a better job. How you gonna stuff 3 big slices of pizza in a little pizza box. He actually put the pizza in a paper plate on hot pizza which had the cheese stuck to the bottom of the paper plate. I showed him and he basically didn't care. Like Antonios please train your employees better. He should have put them in a bigger box duh. Messed up our pizza experience here that we waited patiently for. I wont be back to get your wed 3 buck pizza slices special. Cant be putting paper plates on hot cheesy pizza. Definitely a deal breaker. I got pictures for proof. 2 stars best. From one to 10 overall the pizza is gets a solid 6. It was dim inside in the front eating area. Back area was brightly lit. Was kinda loud because the soccer game. Ordering pizza here is also confusing and a little unorganized. You have to ask the guy behind the pizzas to explain what kind of pizza it is. The chicken tenders were honestly some of the best I've ever had! I love the variety of pizzas they have to offer. There's also something to be said about exceptional service everyone here is genuinely nice, and that really makes a difference. I'd typically go to Frankie's, but between the inconsistency on preparation and Long wait times and the staff always seems to be unfriendly / unhappy every time I go there, I'm definitely starting to appreciate Antonio's a lot more. Pre-Covid this place was fantastic but it's definitely gone downhill in quality in the last few years. We went the other night to eat in. There were 3 adults & 1 toddler. My toddler got the kids slice of cheese pizza & fries. My husband and I each got a couple of slices and my mom ordered a salad. We got the mozzarella bites for our app - the flavor is good but they came out a little cold. The slices for my husband and I were brought to the table first. My toddler kept asking where her pizza was. It took a few more minutes for hers to arrive which was frustrating. It was probably because the fries were fresh but I would have rather those come out later than have my 3 year old wait that long for a slice of pizza. The salad for mom took forever, the rest of us were pretty much done eating by the time her food arrived at the table. My husband always enjoys his chicken, bacon, ranch pizza & the chicken honey mustard I get is always a hit. However, I got the Mac Attack, too, and it tasted off. The pasta on it was cold. We got the skillet cookie for dessert and the cookie was not delicious. I wouldn't get it again. The best part was the vanilla ice cream on top. The server was helpful and nice. The best part was when we asked about the robot sever (which my toddler was obsessed with) and it got sent out to deliver dessert to our table. First timer, the lady and I wanted a quick slice before we headed to the palladium for a concert. I'm not sure why it's taken me this long to stop in there, had some unwarranted bias against the place. We walked in and picked out some slices with the help of the staff manning the glass case. I got two square slices of pepperoni, they were so good o forgot to take a picture. The old lady got a slice of bbq chicken, after her first bite I could see she wanted the rest of that pizza more than she's ever wanted me. First timer. I ordered Mac and cheese. Simple. I saw it was the bartender who was doing the serving. Well I guess she was busy socializing and eventually brought it out. Couple bites...barely warm! While my husband ate and finished i tried getting the bartenders attention, unsuccessfully for the entire time. When I finally did get her attention she came over I told her what happened and an apology ensued but no compensation at all. Took it home reheated. I dont recommend reheated mac and cheese! I won't be going back! I'd like to mention as I watched for waitress/bartender she was sucking on Straws after mixing drinks. Perhaps bartenders should stick to just making those drinks. read more

We ordered through a delivery app. The pizzas were quite good. I got a GF pizza with bacon, feta, chicken and extra cheese. It was pretty good with a crispy crust. My family got their own pizza, mozzarella balls and buffalo boneless wings. All together it wasn't bad, but the mozzarella balls were very small and didn't come with too many at all, about the equivalent of 3-4 sticks. The pizzas were also a bit light on the sauces. The more exotic slices seem to be carelessly stacked with mass produced recipe contents lacking careful culinary balance. Way too much crust often dry and chewey. The food was pretty good but compared to the price, it doesn't feel worth it. We got chicken pizza with bacon and there were very little added (almost none). I highly recommend the classic wings with mango habanero sauce, the grilled wings will be burnt here and there and might end up being bitter. Lost Prescription Glasses at Antonio's - Seeking Help On Saturday, February 8, I dined at Antonio's in Worcester and accidentally left my prescription glasses on the table. The next day, I called the restaurant, and a staff member confirmed they had found them and would set them aside for me. However, when I went to pick them up on Monday, my glasses were nowhere to be found. I asked the staff to check the security cameras, but I was told they didn't have time, and later, another employee said the cameras wouldn't show the seating area. I find it concerning that my glasses were supposedly found on Sunday but had disappeared by Monday. I've now been without my new prescription glasses for three days, and replacing them will be a costly expense since my insurance won't cover another pair this year. I'm simply asking Antonio's to review the camera footage to determine what happened. If they find my glasses, great--it will save me a lot of money. If not, at least I'll know they made an effort. I've been a loyal customer, but I'm very disappointed by their lack of interest in helping me. I hope they reconsider and take action. read more

Pizza was charcoal black and burnt. The cut slices were uneven. Almost $25 for a trash pizza. Customer service is terrible. (What people say about the culture of the staff is true). I would say stick to the slices, but they're so expensive that it's not worth it. If you're desperate try your luck but if you ask me Sophia's pizza is a better option. My fav pizza place recently closed permanently so I popped over to Antonio's, it's been a while This is a superior pizza joint. Excellent and interesting variety, not your typical pizza I got two slices (pictured) - they were HUGE slices, the photo doesn't really do it justice Fresh and delicious. Can't speak highly enough. How come no one told me it would smell like cleaning supplies? Who wants to enter a pizza restaurant and the first thing that hits your nose is bleach and windex and 409 and fabuloso? Did i order yes, Was it appetizing no Did i try and push past the smell? Yes Did i get to the car and inspect what i purchased? Yes Did it smell like pizza? No Did i try it? Yes Did i enjoy the two slices? No absolutely not had 1 bite of each and started imagining them cleaning the toilet with the pizzas. There was 4 workers i interacted with to buy 2 slices of pizza. In boston the pizza restaurants smell like pizza. There is one worker who warms the pizza and cashes you out. Worcester will never be like boston. Worcester cant even live up to its own name. Awful. We all really liked Antonio's Pizza by the Slice! The brick oven crust and pizzas made daily was fresh and able to customize upon request. We had two slices of pepperoni, a pepperoni with mushroom and a slice of deep dish pepperoni. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. read more

Having learned of the recent winner of the Worcester area 2023 pizza competition, I tried their pie and thought it was absolutely wonderful, certainly the best I had had in many years. I recently met a fan of Antonio's on Chandler street, in Worcester, across from Foley Stadium. She claimed that Antonio's was much better and that, they offered single slices. So the same day, I drove up to Antonio's drive up window and ordered a single slice of plain cheese pizza. Without question, their pizza is good and is better than 90% of local area pizza joints, which sadly are mediocre. It had a good uniform crust, but without the wonderful blackened crust bubbles more typical of a yeasty crust. The sauce and the cheese were good, but not special. Antonio's may likely have other Italian fare that would elevate my rating. These comments only relate to their pizza. Pizza rating : 8 of 10. Please give Antonio's a try. Mine is just one man's opinion. read more

The second time at this location. My daughter had a doctors appointment and this is her go to lunch. Not a problem with me cause there's usually a food. There's usually a good craft beer selection. My go to is the Buffalo Bob. My daughter has upgraded to a kids pepperoni with fries. She gets an orange soda. She doesn't drink soda and thinks there's too much carbonation. I told her it was gonna be carbonated. Nevertheless, she drank it. Our server was more interested with her regulars than her tables. Not a big deal, she was friendly and helpful. read more

I like this as the best Pizza that Worcester currently has to offer. This is in terms of variety and overall quality matched with consistent output and flavor. I like their sauce though its actually somewhat sweet. I adore the taco pizza and the avocado tortilla black bean pizza actually blew my mind as the best Nacho pizza I've ever had. Surprisingly my favorite thing to get here isn't the pizza, but rather the chicken Caesar wraps... / salads.. One of the best pizzas I've even had. They have so many selections. My favorite is the tater tot pizza. It's a bit different but it's delicious. I also like pepperoni, Hawaiian and this one is not pizza but their shrimp scampi skillet appetizer is to die for. The staff are very nice. They do musical bingo on Thursdays and it's so much fun. Whether you're dining in or taking out, the pizza is great and I love that you can choose a variety of slices rather than having to buy a whole pie (I love trying different flavors all the time). Antonio's has definitely broken the mold for how to do pizza and stepped out of the traditional way of doing things. Of all my years living in Worcester, and for this restaurant to be right down the street from my house, I've never stepped foot into Antonio's. Whenever I picked up food, I would always go to the window and pick it up. I finally had a chance to sit down and Antonio's and appreciate the restaurant. The restaurant itself is big, very roomy, lots of seating options including bar seating and outdoor seating - which is always a plus. My friends and I had stopped in to grab some pizzas before the final Game of Thrones episode. We sat at the bar as we waited for our food to finish being prepared. There were a study group of customers coming in. People were there with their families, some came in with their teammates, others were just picking up. It's nice. The real review is about the pizza though. I've always loved Antonio's pizza just because of all the toppings and pizza creations they offer! And the crust is pretty good too. It's got that crunch but it's still light and fluffy. I love that they have gluten free and veg options. I'm lactose intolerant and they have dairy free options. Their avocado quesadilla, eggplant and roasted red pepper, and spinach pesto are all delicious! Always mix it up lol. It's definitely a great restaurant to support and enjoy. I'll make a conscious effort to actually step into the establishment next time after my last visit. read more

Do not ever order a salad at this establishment! In over 20 years in Worcester have never been served a salad such as this one, wilted, and close to rotting, smelling like an old salad that has been sitting in the fridge for over a week. Ordered a caprese salad as take-out in the evening. Absolutely the worst salad in all pizza restaurants in Worcester; mesclun was wilted, and so were the tomato slices. Called management the next day; they said it is normal to turn like that the next day. I hope to God he did not mean that and that's not how they serve their salads! Pizza was just okay, nothing to rave about. Ordered slices, they did not taste fresh and were bearly heated to warm. Place was absolutely freezing inside and loud! Bar chairs are very uncomfortable, but maybe they purposely have it that way so guest don't want to stay long. Not a fan of this place. I changed my review from 2 stars to 1 star because the establishment added an extra fee for paying with a credit card. This is not a customer friendly action. read more

A classic spot for a meaty slice of Pizza. The original spot in Amherst used to remind me of a Seinfeld episode, if you question the toppings or don't know what to get: "NO PIZZA FOR YOU!" They've opened a few more locations and improved on their customer service. The pizza however has remained unchanged and amazing.
