Loved and raved by the locals this pizza joint is a must try. Mondays and Tuesdays are buy one get one free pizza , you can mixed and match the pizza offering they have. Pizza come if fresh and hot from their proprietary oven pizza which creates the neopolitan Italian style pizza. Fluffy charred crispy crust texture and warm melted cheeses , sauce and meats all together in nice flavor profile and texture. They also have other dish Offerings such as sandwiches, burgers and Italian pastas. Would love to come try next time.

I cannot say enough good things about Volturno! To start, the restaurant kindly accommodated my 8-person group during the busy Monday/Tuesday BOGO pizza deal, and allowed ample time for our group to arrive and order. Our waitress was kind, gave excellent recommendations, and checked in with us an appropriate amount. When we began ordering, I noticed Volturno has an excellent array of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. I personally got the "pear pressure," which was a delicious pear spritz. For appetizers, my group found the arancini and the brussels sprouts to be a hit. Lastly, I tried eight pizzas due to the BOGO deal, and all of the choices were excellent; however, I will always be a tried-and-true pepperoni person (which was yummy). Overall, I would highly recommend anyone try Volturno, especially on Mondays and Tuesdays during the BOGO deal. It was an excellent restaurant to dine at with friends, and I would definitely return.

on a monday night, i was in the mood for a small bite and a cocktail, so we decided to try volturno after hearing great recommendations. we sat at the bar, and for our drinks, i tried a bartenders choice, which was a paloma with tequila, while my date tried their 'was up, b?' (my second choice). i really enjoyed both drinks, and i preferred the was up, b? i also tried their kiwi krush, which was absolutely delicious, with a very strong house-made jalapeño infused tequila. the drinks here are great! for food, we tried their burrata which had such a unique, delicious assortment of focaccia, burrata, nuts, roasted grapes, balsamic vinegar, prosciutto, and arugula. everything paired very well. then we tried their margherita pizza with garlic aioli on the side. the pizza was great, i would have preferred a bit more basil, but it was cooked perfectly. i would try a different dipping sauce for the crust. our bartender suggested we get a second pizza for their monday & tuesday bogo special, and we took the eggplant pizza home and it was also great the next day. paloma 8.5/10 was up, b? 10/10 kiwi krush 10/10 burrata 10/10 margherita pizza 9.6/10 eggplant pizza 8.6/10 really pleased with our first visit here, from the vibes to the service to the food, and especially the drinks. all 3 bartenders (didn't catch their names) were attentive and helpful. ambiance: 4.8/5 food: 4.7/5 drinks: 4.8/5 service: 5/5 volturno: 4.8/5

I was in the area and craving some good pizza. I called Volutrno's, the phone was quickly answered, my order for a Margherita Pizza (mozzarella, San Marzano sugo, basil with polpette (meatball) and Mushroom $24) was cheerfully accepted and I was told that it would be ready in about 10 minutes. I arrived 15 minutes later and my pizza was waiting. I quickly warmed it up, and it was excellent. I think Volturno's makes the best thin crust pizza in the area.

We made a second visit to Volturno recently to have a try at some of their other options. We arrived early on a Saturday evening (about 4:30) and there was a line to wait for a table so we opted to sit at the bar. We decided to have drinks and appetizers. We ordered a pepperoni pizza (they are small), bruschetta and brussel sprouts. My husband had a beer and my drink was called Love Potion. We also got dessert, he ordered the Tiramisu (it was delicious) and I ordered the cheesecake (I didn't care for the thick graham cracker bottom, but the cheesecake part was very good). Everything was very good and our bar servers were excellent.

Life is short. F.....it up! FAMILY, Flavor, Friends Had this place on my list to visit I finally got the come. Great environment nice bar view of the kitchen and pizza bar. Pasta, dough, and mozzarella is all made in House. Met the head chef for theb tour of the kitchen. Staff is very friendly great place to get together with friends. All the food is very fresh and tasty . A must visit when in Worcester.

Great spot for pizza! Our waitress was very friendly and made a great recommendation to add hot honey to our pepperoni pizza - what a game-changer! Caesar salad came lightly dressed - exactly how we like it. Even the Diet Coke was perfectly crisp and syrupy. The crust is on the thicker/fluffier side- I tend to like a crispier pizza, so deducting 1 star for this. Special thanks to our waitress for the hot honey suggestion. Would definitely order this combination again

Great waitress, great food, great ambiance. The pizza was amazing, the pollo e pesto was to die for. So light, airy, and flavorful. I want to come back to try their other dishes. We also had the bartender surprise us with drinks, and he made really fruity, delicious concoctions.

Rating (out of 25): Food: 4.5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 3/5 (felt a little crowded once it filled up) Drinks: 4/5 (My NA drink had ¾ ice but was delicious) Overall Enjoyment: 5/5 I'm from NYC, and I gotta say, Volturno is easily one of the best meals I've had in Worcester. Honestly, I wasn't expecting it to hit this hard. The vibe is super chill despite the place being pretty massive, and once it filled up, the energy kicked up without ever tipping into chaos. Everyone who helped my boy and me was genuinely welcoming, you could tell they knew we weren't locals, but they made us feel right at home. We started off with their burrata, and wow--silky, creamy, and paired with just the right accompaniments to make every bite sing. That alone could've been the highlight of the night... but then the pizzas showed up. We grabbed a couple of well-crafted beers and ordered the fichi and margherita pies. Both were perfection: fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and a flawless balance between crust, sauce, and toppings. None of that greasy heaviness that makes you regret life choices after. Instead, I left full but still feeling great, which says a lot for a carb-heavy night. The space strikes a sweet balance of laid-back enough to relax, but polished enough that it feels like a proper night out. Volturno clearly takes their craft seriously. Their pizzas are *googles* *clears throat* "APN-certified and baked in a handmade, 100% wood-fired clay oven built in Italy by Gianni Acunto, blasting at around 900°F so they cook in just 60-90 seconds, giving you that perfect airy crust with a whisper of char." Special shout-out to the bartender--she's a master of her craft. The cocktails aren't just there to fill a menu; they're thoughtful, creative, and executed perfectly, elevating the whole dining experience. One thing to keep in mind: they don't take reservations, so if you're rolling in during peak hours, expect a short wait. But with the great music, friendly service, and food that'll have you thinking about it the next day, it's absolutely worth it. Happy eating.

Who the heck ever knew I loved figs? Or FART lettuce on pizza (don't ya think arugula tastes like farts in your mouth when eaten plain?! Anyone?! Anyway. I digress...) This place is perfect for those looking to explore their taste bud's secret desires for foods you didn't even know you needed in your life. From fantastically crafted, unique pizza flavors to your safe bets like pepperoni and sausage. But FRESH!

One of my favorite pizza experiences in Worcester, they had a good 2 pizzas for one deal on weekdays at one point not sure if they still have that. Regardless the pizzas are delicious the ingredients have a lot of effort put into them and the way they cook them in the oven is very good! They've been able to accommodate myself and large group of coworkers very well, the service always does well!

No, we do not offer valet parking.

    Do you take reservations?

John, thank you for your question! We currently do not take reservations.

Do you offer GLUTIN free pizza or pasta?

Volturno offers delicious gluten-free pasta, available upon request. Unfortunately, Volturno cannot accommodate gluten-free pizzas, due to the dough.

As far as I know, based on my friend who was planning to do that tonight!

Did the restaurant close? Number is no longer in service and the website is down. Too bad, if so! Pizza was delish.

No we are definitely open. The website editor had a hack but it has been resolved

I got the spicy ramen and my partner got the chicken non spicy one, please refer to pics as I forgot the name... highly recommend getting the chicken ramen, the broth is light and savory, additionally lots of protein and veggies to make it the perfect ramen bowl. The spicy ramen was okay, I love spice but this one was a bit starchy as if too much starch was used to thicken the broth. The noodles were also way too soft; and there's very little protein. I got beansprout as an add on and that was $2; a bit much if added onto the bowl.

Our food arrived fairly quickly as well. All of the staff are very friendly & attentive. The space is cool, very relaxing & open. As for the food, it was very, very SALTY. The mussels were good but once you reach the bottom of the bowl it was salty. The flavor of the wings were good but also salty. The ramen was also extremely salty as well so it seems like everything they make here is just overall on the salty side. If they just lessened every dish on that part, it would be perfect. But especially the ramen was very hard to eat without drinking 5 cups of water. The shirley temple was delicious tho! Food is 3/5 but service is a 5/5. So I will say the service definitely saved the rating from 3 stars.

I don't rightly know how to review a restaurant I didn't intend to eat at…read more It's not entirely my fault -- the signs outside say "Havana Nights". In five different places. The parking is for Havana Nights. Imagine our surprise when we were handed menus for "The Fokin Ninja" or Taino. That name isn't anywhere. I still don't know what this place is called. I asked our server if the awesome Cuban place moved, and got the weirdest response.. something like "Ahh.. Ohh.. yeah, let me get someone to help you." I probably should have packed up and studied the situation from somewhere else? There were changes in April and it's not Cuban any more. But we were seated with waters and Fokin Ninja menus, so maybe there's some crossover. I don't even know how to describe the menu; you can read it here. Some kind of Mexican-Asian fusion? Prices are steep, from the $18 cocktails to the $30-$40+ entrees. They did have a few specialty rolls for $10, so I tried a few. Look, maybe beef and chicken fusion rolls are your thing, but today I learned that they are not mine. Not at all. Dry beef, dry shredded chicken on top, and the weirdest mash of flavors and textures does not make a delightful roll. Sticky sweet brown sauce with bacon and cream cheese and some sliver of maybe roast beef? Nope nope nope. There just wasn't anything delicious about them.. just weird stuff wrapped in rice and called a fusion roll. The fried fish plate (Pescado Frito) for $32 was pretty good. Hot, fresh, good size, but just bland and unseasoned, as far as I could tell. Came with chimichuri sauce and fried plantains. Fried rice for $22. Loud and cold in there. This is also the first place in Worchester that puts the Tip right on the tab. Not a service charge, just "Tip" and they picked it for you. There is a line where you can write in an additional tip. It ain't right. I can't think of anything that would merit a second star. The kicker? The receipt says "Havana Nights"! I would have enjoyed eating there instead.

But my friend recommended and it did not disappoint. They were at about 35% capacity at the time. Service was good. Our server was really nice. We got a wide variety of items. I don't recall the sushi roll name though. We all got the CHOFAN which was literally the most delicious new thing I've had in a long time. Literal. Perfection. They got steak and shrimp. I got chicken. All three fire. The best way I can describe it is like the most perfect fried rice you've ever had. We also got some table apps veggie spring rolls and gyoza. Both really good but I did ask for this like Asian Thai chili sauce instead of the one that came with the spring rolls because it's like a mayonnaise based sauce and I just wasn't really feeling it. That really complimented the spring rolls better to me. My cocktail was MEDICINA DE AMOR I $22 Hennessy, grand marnier, strawberry and lime juice. To me it was way too sweet and the other one that comes in the IV bag the server said was even sweeter than that. I had to put water in it. But it was cute and I wanted it so. Probably wouldn't get again tho. Restaurant vibe and decor was very aesthetically pleasing. Overall zero complaints. And highly recommend. There is a small Parking lot on the left side and street parking. Also, I heard that they just reopened with a new name so the outside is gonna say Havana but it's called Taino and says it on the door. I was a little confused when I pulled up.
