    Mercantile Burger
    Holly L.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of indoor seating with lots of windows and sports TVs. Kind of a rustic/industrial feel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's an upstairs section too, but it's only open from Thursdays to Sundays. Got the Mercantile burger and the Smashburger, both were decent. Our server was very nice and attentive. A solid spot where you can't go wrong with the classic drinks and bar food, but there's nothing really out of the ordinary that would make me recommend it or be itching to come back.

Serviceable and well-done American fare. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Large space, big windows, but a nice quiet ambiance despite the spaciousness and customers and sports TVs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Wait staff was very good and service was prompt. We had: grilled chicken (whole breast) salad, Mediterranean salad (with a solid hummus), turkey BLT ( outstanding fries), and a brunch burrito (stuffed with scrambled eggs, chorizo, sofrito, and avocado). All were tasty.

Myself, my husband and three other friends got seated quicker than we were told the wait time was. we had just decided to give this restaurant a try after seeing a baseball game in this area. We had good service also by our server, Xavier and he did a nice job with giving us good food suggestions as well as making sure we had everything we needed during our meals. The food came to our table hot and in big portions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were many big screen televisions from the bar area diagonal to the booth seats we were in and the atmosphere looked very industrial with lots of hanging lights around us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The lights were dimmed as the sun disappeared and so we had to resort to flashlight setting on our phones to read the menu clearly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The windows were open to let in the fresh air and the parking is only on the street at this location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They give you the option here to eat inside or on the porch and the restaurant is two floors as well so you can relax with your choice of pizza, sandwiches or other choices.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We felt full after our meal and we enjoyed our first time experience here.

Salmon (swapped fried rice for white) to go order

I was in the area for work and placed a to-go order of the salmon, but I swapped out the fried rice for white instead. while I can't speak too much on the service since I didn't stay, the food was super delish. The salmon was perfectly cooked with a little crispness on the bottom, the green beans were so good and tender without being mushy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the little bit of time I spent inside it seemed like a really nice spot, hopefully I can stay and sit next time I'm in the area![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The mercantile is great. It's one of the better restaurants in Worcester and turns into a fun nightlife spot at night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is great. We've come multiple times and it always fantastic!

After we finished the Van Gogh Experience at the Mercantile Center which is adjacent to The Mercantile restaurant, we quickly walked over for an early dinner. This was our first visit here, and we weren't sure what to expect on Valentine's day. The hostess greeted us promptly, and politely directed us to the bar since we didn't have a reservation. It was quiet and there were ample seats available at the large bar. Within seconds of our arrival, one of the bar tenders cheerfully brought us menus and silverware. Within a few minutes we ordered: Mercantile Burger(Medium Rare) WHITE CHEDDAR, LETTUCE, TOMATO. $17 Chicken Milanese CRISPY CHICKEN BREAST, LEMON, BABY ARUGULA, PECORINO, PICKLED SHALLOT. $24 Our order arrived promptly within 10 or 15 minutes, and the food looked good. The burger was nicely cooked, medium rare, juicy and thick. And the fries were hot and crispy. I'd be happy to have this dish again. The Chicken Milanese with arugula was very tasty, if not a tad dry. If this dish came with some sauce, it would be very good. I might not order this upon a return visit. Overall, the food was tasty, the service was excellent, and the venue was very nice, boasting a contemporary but casual feel. I'd be happy to return, though I bet this place gets very busy on Friday or Saturday night. They have a rooftop bar open in the summer, and igloos which hold up to 6 diners are open in the winter.

    Mediterranean Salad with grilled salmon

The best salad I have had in a while! First time here and I already can't wait to go back. Great variety of food. Service was good, I was with a big party and staff were accommodating and attentive. Loved the Brussel sprouts and the goat cheese balls as appetizers. Perfect to share and cooked great! Main was the Mediterranean salad and I added the grilled salmon. Fish was cooked perfectly and the salad was a great big portion. Cool looking atmosphere with the exposed beam very industrial. Can't wait to go back!

SUCH a great place for lunch in Worcester!!! Great drinks, appetizers, and food all around! My girlfriend and I came here for a day, started off with some lemon waters and Buffalo saucy wings. So good! The bleu cheese dressing was so delicious and the wings were great as well, though I wish they were a bit crispier! Perfect amount of sauce, however. For the main course we each ordered a Mercantile burger-- which was DELICIOUS! One of the best burgers I've ever had in MA. The meat was so delicious, and the toppings were even better. We both got it extra-deluxe style with a fried egg, bacon, & avocado. Try it, you won't regret it. The fries and salad on the side-- 5 stars as well. Truly amazing food here. We will be back!!!

Went for brunch this time, just as good (maybe even better). Sat at the bar service of the drinks and food was very quick.

Food is decent, menu variety is sufficient. Server is attentive overall but didn't check in to ask how was the food, we were busy talking so maybe she didn't want to interrupt us. We went there because of the convenience from the Monet immersive show. Forgot to take picture of pizza, so only appetizer and dessert picture. Butterscotch crème brûlée is recommended..

My sister hosted my bridal shower here and they did an absolutely beautiful job. The buffet food was incredible and everyone raved about it. Their catering menu has so many great options. We rented a semi-private space but lucked out the only other guests upstairs were in the igloos. They had a bartender upstairs and never had to wait for a drink. They had plenty of tables and chairs, and it wasn't too crowded.

We tried the ogeat lemonade (very refreshing), miso carrots appetizer (both of us loved - very unique flavors), the spicy tantanmen (not too spicy/was just right for me), the lamb wontons (not our favorite - only 4 dumpling shaped wontons, flavors heavy on the lamb, might not be filling), and lastly, the brown butter ice cream (topped with pepper which was interesting! I got the spicy ramen and my partner got the chicken non spicy one, please refer to pics as I forgot the name... highly recommend getting the chicken ramen, the broth is light and savory, additionally lots of protein and veggies to make it the perfect ramen bowl. The spicy ramen was okay, I love spice but this one was a bit starchy as if too much starch was used to thicken the broth. The noodles were also way too soft; and there's very little protein. I got beansprout as an add on and that was $2; a bit much if added onto the bowl.
