Yard House in Millbury is awesome! The first time I went with my husband we had a terrific waitress named Paige. She was outstanding! Her recommendations and knowledge about the food and drinks was above and beyond of what we experienced at any other place. The atmosphere was upbeat and spacious and comfortable. My husband and I went again to Yard House and had a waitress named Tiffani. She was so friendly and sweet. She checked up on us several times keeping us abreast of our drink and food order due to it being a Friday night and extremely busy. She was just as awesome as Paige. The food again was very good and we think this might be our place to go to for either a great drink at the bar or just a nice date night dinner. Decided to try the food out for dinner last night with family. The wait was really short for a table of 5. Atmosphere was nice. Super family friendly. Drinks were good. Cocktails were enjoyable. We got two espresso martinis that were delicious. The watermelon margarita wasn't bad, but could've been better. Our server was the best part about the entire experience. Tory was amazing from the time we sat down until we got back up. Super funny and efficient without pushing us to spend more money. Apps were decent. The chicken nachos were super filling and the sliders were alright. For entrees, the salmon was delicious. Grilled cheese and soup was good but as it should be since it's simple. Same with the chicken tenders, simple and reliable. The bone-in ribeye was super good. The orange chicken entree though was terrible. Rice was super hard, still uncooked, and the chicken was pretty bland. Our server was really nice to take it off since it wasn't eaten. I would recommend trying it for yourself. My guest and I arrived for dinner on a weekday at 5 PM. Earlier, I had placed my name on the wait list which gave me a 30 minute window to appear. It worked perfectly as we were seated immediately upon arrival. The first thing I noted upon being seated was the noise level - much too loud. Having a conversation was difficult. As to the service, I found it acceptable. The food was fine but my order for a side of onion rings had to be changed because THEY RAN OUT OF ONION RINGS. Who runs out of onion rings at dinner time? I rated it 3 starts because of the noise level. If they can't solve the issue, I doubt I will be back. read more

Any new restaurant has its growing pains - but there is a difference between "still figuring it out" and flat out bad service. I've now been to this Yard House twice. The atmosphere is nice - pretty standard for a Yard House. There's a nice patio for outdoor dining. On our first visit - the server was friendly and attentive and the food was overall pretty good. My only complaint was that our mains came out at the same time as our apps which was a bummer but again - growing pains. They also do this weird thing where they put the napkins in front of you on the table like a table cloth - I'm assuming it's a signal that you've already ordered but it's very off putting. Today we went for dinner - and got no food. We were seated at a table. Fifteen minutes goes by without a drink order and without so much as a "be with you in a minute." Eventually, we abandon ship and go sit at the bar. No one seems to notice. After ten minutes at the bar, a bartender who was rather unfriendly takes our order. We get drinks. She never comes back for an order. There's a manager who comes up to the couple next to us and is chatting with them for quite a while, does not interact with us at all. Fifteen more minutes go by. Fortunately, they leave your tab on the bar in front of you so we just left cash and walked out. Not even sure if anyone noticed. Almost 40 minutes with no food order? Not into it. Went here for dinner last night, had a good experience. The drinks are great, especially the lavender drop. We ordered the chicken tenders for an app, the honey Dijon mustard is to die for! Chicken tenders were good as well. We also got the chili Alfredo, which was very sweet and not what we were expecting, not bad, but wouldn't order it again. We ordered the jalapeño burger, but were brought the wrong burger so only one of us got our entree. Luckily the chicken tenders were filling, and we shared the pasta but we were looking forward to the burger. Yard House has officially opened a location in Millbury, located The Shoppes At Blackstone Valley. I've enjoyed going to the Yard House for food and drinks for many years, particularly for their Happy Hour specials which offer discounted food and drinks 3pm-6pm on weekdays. My friend and I bump out of work early and meet up to enjoy the half off appetizers including the Poke Nachos, Fried Cheese Curds, Fried Calamari, Queso Dip and their pizzas too. I will also get a dessert too. The food menu offers tasty pub fare including a selection of appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, pasta, steaks, chops, seafood, chicken, kids menu, and desserts. The bar offers 90 draft beers, seltzers, wine, cocktails, and mocktails. Their menus are sort of similar in concept to BJ's Brewhouse. I stopped at The Yard House in Millbury for lunch on opening day (June 15, 2026), which there was a ribbon cutting with local officials before opening the doors. They also held an invitation only soft opening on June 13, 2026. The atmosphere is modern and a bit on the loud side with 80s music blasting over the speakers and over 20 TVs throughout the place. The main room has booths along the perimeter surrounding tables & high top tables and the full service bar with seating & TVs in the center. There is also a separate covered open air seating area to the right and outside patio seating on the green. I decided to sit up at the bar for prompt service. The bartender arrived and gave me a menu to look over and I requested an ice water. I placed an order for the Fontina Vodka Penne ($20.99 plus tax) - penne alla vodka, topped with grilled fontina chicken & fried basil. This dish was served in under 10 minutes. The grilled chicken breast was very tender and smothered with fontina cheese. The penne pasta was al dente in a rich creamy vodka sauce, savory flavors and no sweetness. After I was done with the pasta dish, I ordered dessert Oreo Brookie ($9.99 plus tax) which had a hot cookie dough fudge brownie with Oreo cookie crumbles, topped with a hard scoop of vanilla ice cream, chocolate & caramel sauces & whipped cream. This dessert was very sweet and rich. After I was done, the check was $33.15 with tax and before tip. I actually used some old Darden gift cards up too. Overall, the food at Yard House was great and the service was prompt. The general manager stopped by to welcome me here as the first customer. As always, I will definitely be back for their happy hour deals. I was also told they were converting the old Bahama Breeze in Tyngsborough into a Yard House, a convenient location for the Merrimack Valley and Southern NH. Good times ahead! read more

The experience I had was overall not good for a restaurant like this. The atmosphere outshines the food and timing of when you will receive your meals. After waiting double the time we were told, we were met by our server who was very nice the entire night, and had amazing suggestions about the food my girlfriend and I ordered. After receiving those, they were still greasy and we had no silverware to use. We placed the order for entrées and when those came out, we were left with still, no silverware to eat with. The manager came over shortly after and informed us that we would get a free dessert because of the inconvenience. After enjoying the meals for a few minutes, we both noticed that the chicken and our dishes were completely overcooked and charred on the outside to the point where it changed the taste of the entire dish. We ordered our dessert and then waited almost 20 minutes for it to come out which isn't an issue but when it did, the ice cream was half melted and looked like it was sitting there forgotten about. Have eaten in the restaurant twice. First time the food and service was okay, they were extremely busy and had only been open a few weeks so took that into consideration. Second time, went in and it was much quieter. The service was horrible. Took the waitress about 15 minutes to greet us and take our drink order, when she finally brought the drinks she asked if we were ready to order then proceeded to give us the tablet that was on the table. The adult entrees were good, kids steak was precut and extremely dry. Waitress never came back to ask how everything was, or if we needed anything. Also, never brought the check ended up paying on tablet and leaving. Most recently, 9/2 ordered take out. We ordered boneless buffalo wings, they were somehow dry and rubbery at the same time and had an odd taste, we threw them out. The poke salads arugula was extremely bitter that my husband could not eat it. The pieces in the beef noodles was mostly chewy fat , the "broccoli" was all stalks only had one broccoli head in the entire meal- the noodles were very tasty though. Also, got the s'mores brownie sundae, the brownie had a weird texture as well. Highly disappointing for the amount of money it all cost. Won't be going back. read more

Asked for my drink of choice and was told that they were out of the Vodka i wanted, even though there were numerous bottles on display and was told they could not use display bottles. Had a great experience at this Yardhouse location. Arrived on a busy Thursday night and waited about an hour to be seated, which was expected considering the restaurant had just opened. When we were seated, we ordered cocktails from the waitress. I got the dragon fruit Cosmo, which was delicious. We ordered salt and pepper wings on the Ziosk, which came out very quickly. For entrées, I got a chicken bowl and my boyfriend got the steak and cheese sandwich both were very good. Service was excellent. Can't wait to go back. read more

We went there for the first time today (it hasn't been open that long) - the only negatives read that I agreed with were the noise level inside (they need some sound proofing, even the waitresses seemed to have a tough time hearing us as we did them) and the service started out slow. I got the vibe that everyone in that restaurant is doing ALL the jobs - order drinks, they delivered by a runner. Order meals - the manager delivers them and thanks you for patronizing them. At one point, I saw our waitress serving food to another table while their waitress was taking orders from them! Interesting business model. Our waitress - Sophia, was phenomenal - she checked in on us often and when she noticed things were kindof slow, she double checked and made sure our orders got to to us in a timely manner - she was friendly and checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed. The food will definitely bring us back - I had the steak and cheese sandwich, it was excellent, Hubby had the Thai pork chops and he loved them!
