Delicious gyro- flavorful meat & sauce; soft bread; fresh veggies. - Fried onion rings, a fish sandwich with onions and tomatoes, and beverages are displayed on a wooden table at a restaurant.

We really enjoyed our visit. The staff was friendly. We arrived at the beginning of the evening rush - about 6 tables were seated immediately after us, so I feel like the waitstaff got a little confused about who to serve first, etc... because we waited 10 minutes after getting our drinks to order appetizers & dinner. No biggie. The food looked & tasted delicious! I had the gyro. I'm a little bit of a gyro snob - not in a bad way, I just like it when places like this show they care about flavor & quality & not just throwing something together. The meat was flavorful & juicy; the veggies were fresh; the sauce was flavorful; the bread was soft. Perfect. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their meals. I wish I had tried the pizza - it looked delicious!

Super Beef on an Onion Roll - A sandwich with sliced roast beef, cheese, and a fried egg on a bun, served with a pickle on the side in a foam takeout container.

I generally like my beef to be a little more on the rare side, but this was a delicious sandwich. It was huge, and the beef was really tender and had an amazing savory outer crust. Nicely roasted and great flavor. I very much appreciate that they use JRB.

Lobster Rangoons - Six fried lobster rangoons served on a white plate with a small cup of sweet chili sauce, placed on a wooden table.

If you can sit at the bar or in one of the 2 tables by the window, you'll get excellent service. The charcuterie board is great, and the drink selection is also pretty good. However, the last time we came here, it was the middle of the afternoon on Valentine's day. I'm from Boston and Cape Cod and my partner is European; we look like it and we act like it. Upon a brief interaction with the hostess, we both felt spoken down to: "YOU'RE trying to come in on Valentine's day? Without a reservation?" This, coming from someone with a Worcester accent who was dressed like a boy going to church choir. We were shooed away into the dining area: "I guess you could stand over there and look at the menu". It's about 330 in the afternoon- most tables are completely empty. Then a different staff member, also with a working class accent, says "I need you to clear out of this walkway because this is for staff only", despite the fact that no staff were walking there and we had been standing there about 20-30 seconds. We left without saying anything as the hostess tried to say something to us. If you want to feel spoken down to, in the working class city of Worcester no less, come here. Alternately, if you're feeling aggressive and want to squeeze your way in to sit touching shoulder to shoulder, come here. The time before this, the hostess was a soft-spoken woman who mumbled a lot; we had to elbow people out of the way at the middle bar section, which is where she directed us. Maybe in another year I'll want to come back for lunch only. Honestly, I'd rather drive back to Boston if I'm going to be treated snobbishly.

The day I visited they offered fish specials and the place smelled like a fish market. Now I like both cooked fish and sushi, but the smell was a bit too much. I arrived around 11:30 and had the shepard''a pie. It was good, but not particularly memorable. Not sure if I will return, but should I probably give it another chance. My initial impression is that their food offerings were significantly the same as 100's of other bar restaurants.

I ordered the prime rib, which was cooked just right and tasted amazing. The horseradish on the side was a nice classic touch that really brought it together. My sister got the lobster roll, and it was huge -- she said it was excellent. The only downside came with the sides. I was told my prime rib came with green beans, which I love, but when the dish arrived, it came with carrots instead (not a favorite). When I brought it up, our server offered me broccoli as a replacement, which I appreciated -- but then we were surprised to see an $2 upcharge for it on the bill. When I politely questioned it, the waitress just brushed it off and said I should've known broccoli costs more -- something she didn't mention when offering the switch. That felt a little off. Still, the food quality speaks for itself, and I'd definitely return -- just double-checking any substitutions next time.

I had fun, sang a bunch, then decided it was time to go. Bill came to $42. I took my card, slid the slip back across the bar WITHOUT SIGNING IT and handed the bartender $65 IN CASH, and did not ask for any change back. Two days later, I checked my account. Not only was there a charge for $42, but another charge for $33. Ok, no big deal, the place was busy, mistakes happen. I called the number listed when I googled the bar. Had to leave a message. They don't have a website, so I went to their facebook page and sent a message via messenger. I gave a detailed account of what I drank, what the bill was, the last four digits of my card number, and the two charges despite my having paid in cash. They left it read, but did not respond. I contacted the karaoke DJ, who is a friend of mine and asked if he knew how to get ahold of anyone over there. He offered to stop by that night and speak to whoever was working and inquire about the situation. He reported back that he told the bartender there about it, and asked for someone to contact him. A week goes by. Crickets. I call and leave another message. I send another Messenger message. It gets read again, but still no response. I contact my bank and dispute the charges. I contact my friend again who again goes up there and asks for someone to get back to one of us. Nothing. July 14th I send yet another message, saying that I could see that the others had been read, and asking why they aren't responding. Interestingly, it does not show that it has been read. Left another message today. Such an easy thing to remedy. A simple apology and offer to correct the mistake is all that was needed. I tipped very nicely, was polite and friendly. I have never caused any issues there, and always treat the bartenders respectfully. So why couldn't they just call me back? Own your mistakes!
