This place looks deceptively small from the outside and also when you first walk in - there's the long bar area. But there's a whole another side room with a really cool chandelier and tables - this pic is on the website. Plus there's a whole fenced-in patio in the back which also has quite a few tables and also a corn hole game setup. Has some greenery plants and lights. Nice for entertaining - and that is where the party was. It can easily fit about 20-30 people. We had cake for the birthday and people ordered drinks at the bar. The bartender was very friendly. Looks like a neighborhood bar where people know each other. They have some bar food like pretzel, hot dog - the hot dog was only $3 which is unbelievable! Anyway we all had a great time- played some corn-hole too!

cocktail garden & kitchen is a brand new restaurant and outdoor lounge. the ambiance is cute,…read morethere's an indoor bar with a couple tables and a large outdoor patio area filled with comfy chairs, couches and covered in lights. we came at 10pm on a wednesday, the kitchen was closed but we came for the drinks anyways. they do a great job with the drink presentation, using different presentations with smoke which is entertaining and pretty! their drinks look beautiful but the drinks are very watered down or sweet from the sweet heart and mezcal drinks we tried. for ~$17 each, i loved the presentation but we both didn't feel there was nearly any alcohol in them, either sugary or watery. maybe it's a method for you to order more? mezcal 2.5/10 sweet heart 3/10 although they have a great ambiance and vibe, and fun presentation, since we came for a single good drink, it was lacking. for $17 a drink, the drinks shouldn't be this weak. this is a new place so i'm sure they have some things to work out, and i would highly encourage them to just add more alcohol to their drinks and this would be an ideal place to get after dinner drinks and relax on their outdoor patio. kitchen was closed so can't speak for the food. the neighborhood is very busy and loud, so while there may be plenty of space for an intimate or group conversations, the street is pretty noisy, even on a wednesday. i do feel like they will work this out! tldr; great vibe, great presentation, good service, drinks need more work, located in busy part of city. ambiance: 4/5 food: n/a drinks: 1.4/5 service: 3.5/5 cocktail garden & kitchen: 2.9/5

The cheese sauce was a bit runny making it hard to eat politely. We had a steak and cheese and a turkey sandwich, both with house chips. The water there tasted awful, we did have to order bottled. We were in the downstairs bar, I understand there is an upstairs so maybe that is fancier? Either way it's super laid back. I will say the bathroom near the bar need an update. It was not just dirty, it was run down and ragged. Our lunch /drinks for 2 was $180 with tip and I would expect a decent bathroom and drinkable water for that level of restaurant pricing.

We took our two younger ones there for a quiet Easter Sunday dinner together. So many interesting things on the menu, we way over ordered. But everything was delicious. Our pork belly did seem to have missed a sauce, but we just dipped them with the cheesy bread sauce and was very happy. My son ordered a few different skews and thoroughly enjoyed his Picanha, sausage and cheese and chicken heart. My youngest said the chicken hearts were the best she had ever tried. High praise from a kid loving chicken heart since just a tiny tod. My wife and I both ordered the ribeye over mushroom risotto. We order medium rare and both of ours came perfectly done.
