I have come here a couple of times in the recent weeks and this seems like a pretty popular place. It's got that hometown restaurant feel to it which is warm and welcoming. Plenty of options, for craft beer (rotates regularly), bottled and draft beer, apps, food, pizza, specials. Opted for a ginger ale (go figure), and a Swiss burger - 8 oz Angus, Swiss, sauteed onions and mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, fries. Service very good (did not catch her name but, then again, she never threw it). Food came out pretty quick, and was cooked to order. Couple of things: bun looked good in the pic, but fell apart almost as soon as I picked it up; mushrooms were not sauteed at all; burger was a good patty. Not hand formed. Fries very good. Absolutely horrible! We had the owner's girlfriend as our waitress we waited over 15 mins just to get greeted by her and it took a hour for a burger and a panini. We thought things would get better and it didn't. They said they were short staffed but it wasn't even that busy. Then when we got the food we decided to take it to go. I went zip planning in the Berkshires this past weekend and when we were heading back, we stopped at this restaurant, hoping for the best. The waitress staff was amazing friendly funny the place was decorated for Halloween. It looked amazing. I didn't take any pictures. I was exhausted from the busy weekend I had my first drink. I ordered. It was a special drink. They had on the menu with bourbon in it, they forgot my dry ice my dirty ice and the drink was barely half full. The second drink I ordered was an old-fashioned with bullet bourbon that was really yummy but very strong. It should've been considered a sipper Then I introduced I hope to introduce my best friend to green tea shots Whoever made them made them sweet-and-sour shots and they were not good at all that sweet-and-sour lasted in my mouth for quite a while. It's like switched it out on the side of the road with water on the way home. It was really not pleasant. The food my friends lamb wrap was amazing. He loved it. He said it was different. It was sliced lamb, not shredded, which was easier to eat for him. And I ordered I forget the name of it, but it was a chicken special with that was pan fried with apples. I think it had squash and garlic potatoes. It was all layered up with caramel sauce. Drizzle on it. The chicken seemed like it was frozen and then thawed, and then deep pan fried and the batter that was on it was very bland. I scraped the batter off and tried to eat the chicken, but it still tasted off like it was old chicken that was trying to be reused. Maybe I don't know. I never asked. I just took it home and I fed it to the animals. To be honest I wouldn't eat it. It did not taste good at all and the girl recommended me to get it. She said it was delicious, but I did not enjoy it at all and I am a chef myself, and I couldn't get past how the chicken tasted. The potatoes were very lumpy. they were very tasty with garlic in them. I think the squash was delicious. The apples were cooked perfectly in the dish , but sadly, the dish was ruined by the main character with the chicken that was supposed to be pan fried I don't know if I ever travel back. The waitstaff here is normally great and the bar area is welcoming with a larger center bar. The food I've had has been bland. I've never really had anything here that I wanted to have again. We went to Teddie G's for lunch on the day after Christmas. We were seated quickly and the waitress, Jillian, came over soon after. Our order came out quickly. I'm celiac so I had a bacon cheeseburger on a gluten-free roll. I asked for medium rare, and it came out medium rare. The burgers come with french fries, but the waitress informed me that the french fries would be cross-contaminated any other and offered any other side. I had a side salad. The salad was very good and I enjoyed the burger very much. My daughter had one of the specials, a crispy honey BBQ wrap. Came with home made kettle chips. The chips were warm and wrap was large and filled with quality chicken. She also got a kids Mac and cheese as an extra side. Scored high points as well. The bathrooms were well maintained. It was a busy Saturday night before Father's Day. Yes, the waitress confused one order so my partner had to wait for her dinner while my meal was served. But, let it be known, that the manager noticed this, came over and apologized. Finally someone from the kitchen came out and told us they lost our order, and blamed the delay on my chicken sandwich. My meal was okay, my son-in-law's meal, a cheese steak with fries, was cold. We went on a Friday night around 6:30. The place was busy and had a nice atmosphere. Really felt like a welcoming neighborhood pub. We were seated within a few minutes, our server was a hoot. 2 or us were debating what to get and without hesitation she gave us her honest opinion. Food was fantastic. Our party had 2 burgers, sliders, grilled chicken sandwich and hot pretzels. The queso cheese was really good and I believe they make their own. We ordered fried dough bites to go and when we got home we were shocked at the amount we were given. SO MUCH! And the dipping sauces were great. To preface, this is one of our favorite restaurants, and we happily make the forty five minute drive for lunch. Last Sunday, we came in, and our server Ireland, was super nice and took our order. I requested my wrap not be grilled. No problem. When it arrived, it was grilled. I mentioned it to her, and she apologized saying she even wrote it on the ticket. There was no offer to remake it. So I ate it, and my friend discovered the bacon in her fish wrap was undercooked. She picked it out. We never saw Ireland until we were pretty much done and my water glass was empty. She asked if we needed anything else. At that point we wanted to pay and leave, so we did. If something wasn't correct, it should have been caught, sent both back so we could have our lunch together, then come to our table and explain the delay. On top of that, we both later felt as if we'd eaten grease. The aforementioned has never happened at Teddy G's. I reached out to the restaurant the next day via the contact form on their website, but have not received a response. We'll probably return, but it will be a while, as both the food, service and response missed the mark. read more

Met my best friend here on Friday night and the reason we chose this location was because of their extensive menu. The wait staff were beyond friendly, and we had a very pleasant experience. The calamari were delicious and fried perfectly, the hummus plate is ginormous and I brought extra home. My burger was good, but the bacon could have been cooked differently and the burger itself season. We both tried the Mac and cheese and while good, it wasn't cheese flavor forward. This visit to Teddy G's was solely the result of this great Yelp community. The high praise from so many Yelpers led me and my dear wife to land here after a visit to the nearby iconic Treehouse Brewery. Wait time for a table was reasonable for a Friday night. They have lots of comfortable seating. We had time to read the menu while waiting so when we were seated, we knew what we wanted right away. For me, the buffalo chicken mac and cheese was a must. The reviews were stellar, and it did not disappoint. So creamy. So cheesy. And the buffalo chicken chunks were delicious. I ate half and was stuffed. My wife got the steak tips. She is not a pepper and onion fan, so she asked for those to be held. She got the baked potato as a side. The tips tasted ok. But the plate looked rather sadly empty. Granted, she didnt want the veggies, but as a chef I wouldn't want a dish like that to go out. It just looked so embarrassingly small. 7 small pieces of steak and a small baked potato? I would say this chef could have done better. Offer another vegetable? I dont know. Anyway, my meal was the bomb. My friends and I needed to meet for dinner last minute because the place we had a reservation at was actually close. However, Teddy G's took our reservation before 3 pm, and we were able to eat at 5. (On weekends, they don;t take reservations after 3 pm. Ok!?) We got in and got our drink right away. They have a full bar, a good beer selection, and I forget what the wine list is. The menu is typically New-England restaurant fair with some neo-American Bistro flare. I had the baked Haddock, others had the Spicy burger, and some mac and cheese. All were good, and I so want that burger next time. My fish was perfect, except the squash veggie side was overcooked ins a stew way; edible, but reminded me of grade school. However, the cole slaw was classically coastal great. The staff was attentive, and we had a pleasant time catching up. I had a long drive ahead of me, so didn't partake in the bar. And the bar was packed two-deep, so it is a going concern. There was a wait of a few couples the whole time we were there, so get that reservation. It is my impression that this is one of the upper-tier places around here, and all these places are packed. Granted, it was a Saturday night, and I am spoiled by living in a city. Understandably a bumping spot on a Friday but definitely worth the wait for a table and a whole vibe. Being from out of town, its often a struggle to find open local places that are very good and really glad we called ahead and asked when the kitchen was open. The service and staff moved fast, which was appreciated as my group and I were coming from out of town and accommodated at the bar. I spied so many dishes that I really wanted while sipping a beer - the pizza looked insane. However, shared with the table some delicious Parmesan bites, big fan, and stuck with the steak salad. I rarely am unable to make a decision on a menu, and I was floored by how many delicious things were on this menu. I couldn't decide between the sandwiches, pizza, or the dinners. I was so happy I went with the salad - the steak was perfectly medium rare and the vegetables were fresh and delicious. All of my companions REALLY loved the food and were so stuffed when we left. The service at the table was so nice and friendly as well as patient with us. I also had a special margarita that was very boozy and REALLY delicious as well.
