6 OZ. A-5 JAPANESE KAGOSHIMA WAGYU SIRLOIN

We tried the 111 Chop house's special wagyu menu last night. We split the Teriyaki Beef Skewers to start. They were very tender and the pineapple chili sauce added a lot of flavor, definitely would get again! The pre dinner Salads were fresh as can be with the perfect portions. My fiancé had the 7 OZ. WESTHOLME AUSTRALIAN WAGYU FILET. Her first time having Wagyu Which she loved! It was perfectly cooked medium rare. For the first time I tried the A-5 JAPANESE KAGOSHIMA WAGYU SIRLOIN. Of course cooked chef's choice, medium rare. It was amazing, melted in your mouth like butter! We had split the garlic mash potatoes and honey glazed Brussels sprouts, with bacon as our sides. Both are to die for! For drinks we both started with the espresso martinis, which was great. They were a stronger coffee flavor leaning martini. Then we each got a one of their signature cocktails the "Flirtini" which we both loved! For dessert, we split the crème brûlée, it was so good that we could have each ate one! The service was on point. They were on top of everything and made sure we were satisfied. The ambiance was nice, we were tucked back in the corner and did not have many distractions. This was my fiancé's first time going, and my second time and we will definitely be going back!

Phenomenal service/ wait staff, they make sure you get new plates and utensils with every new plate. Food was amazing as well, prices are extremely reasonable for the amazing quality the food is. The atmosphere is classy and not too noisy or too quiet, spacious place with perfect lighting.

Came here for a family dinner and they loved it! This was my first time here and I was immediately impressed by the interior! It's fancy and romantic. Servers were very nice and attentive! The oysters were my fave! Very fresh and they're actually pretty huge compared to other places. I had the black pepper encrusted steak - which was not bad but I personally wouldn't order again just because the mushrooms on the side felt very hard. Steak was fine, I asked for medium rare and to me it seemed okay. I really enjoyed my mom's dish which was the grilled swordfish. I've never had it before and it was perfectly cooked!

Enjoying Worcester Restaurant Week at 111 Chop House, our waiters Bryce & Sam were awesome! We started with some cocktails and rolls. For an appetizer, we had bang bang shrimp and a cesar salad. The star of the show was the pork osso bucco, which fell off the bone. Great portions for the price.

The ambiance was cozy and inviting, though our table was in the middle of the aisle which felt a bit cramped. Unfortunately, the service itself was inconsistent. We had to ask for bread three times. When we ordered two brownies and one coffee, we were brought one brownie and two coffees. At the end of the meal, we asked for both my meal and my son's meal to be wrapped to go. My son's plate was accidentally thrown away because other plates were stacked on top of it. When I asked about it, the server explained what happened but did not offer to remake it, remove it from the bill, or apologize, which was disappointing. That said, it was a busy Friday during Restaurant Week, so I would consider coming back and hope the service is smoother next time. While writing this review, I actually received a text from the restaurant letting me know we left our son's plate behind, which was thoughtful and appreciated. If Yelp allowed half stars, I would give 3.5.

Thank goodness for takeout boxes. My favorite plate was the QUESO DE CABRA CON MIEL (goat cheese with honey) served with crusty bread. We paired it with the CHORIZO LEÓN HERRADURA. It was just perfect together. Dessert was worth mentioning. The warm double chocolate brownie with ice cream is a definite yes please. So rich, so gooey, so worth the calories. Bocado is a tapas restaurant, but I found these small plates quite generous. Roll me home I'm done!

This dish was so rich and the textures with the bottom potatoes being caramelized and the top bechamel being so pillowy soft were delightful. The moussaka comes with a side of Greek salad (with creamy feta) and grilled bread. We also got the dolmades, which were fresh and tasty, and the calamari, which was really good. For a cocktail, I highly recommend their mangkas: orange, cherry, honey, haraki, bourbon, bitters, and ginger ale. For dessert, some baklava: a good amount of honey, sweet but not too syrupy, and nice layers. I would highly recommend this spot for a fun date night or to celebrate a special occasion. There is also a small bar. The server was happy to answer any questions about the menu and took time to explain all the desserts. We did have to ask for water a couple of times, but then we got a pitcher of it, which was nice. Next time, I'd be sure that we make a reservation to sit in the cozy dining area rather than by the window with the high tops.

The entire restaurant was empty aside from 2 tables when we arrived. They crammed us literally 6 inches away from 1 of the 2 tables filled. I initially was taken aback but the two ladies sitting next to us kindly slid their table over a tad to give us more space (we were beside a wall to the other side near the door). Honestly - I'm glad I didn't say anything because by 5:30 the entire restaurant was filled and it was nice to have nobody on one side of us. They served bread drizzled with olive oil with some olives to start. There was nothing particularly wrong with the bread, however, being a Greek restaurant, it may have made a lot more sense to serve fresh warm pita as the starter bread course. We ordered the Feta Saganaki to start. That was absolutely the star of the entire show! Very crispy on the outside with a hot gooey feta cheese on the inside, drizzled with ample amounts of honey, and sprinkled with sesame seeds. Absolutely to die for. I started with the Greek sangria - it was fine, but nothing special. My husband got one of the three espresso martini options and he really enjoyed his drink. The restaurant got busy very quickly and it didn't seem they had enough waitstaff on. Everyone was sort of running around with their heads cut off, and service was slow and inattentive at times. For dinner, I had the moussaka. It was very salty and the béchamel sauce on top was sort of gelatinous. It didn't taste bad, but it was a very odd consistency. My husband got the kebab plate with steak and chicken. It was served over a bed of rice with a small side salad. Nobody came back to the table to ask how our meals were after serving us. We really needed salt and pepper, which was not on the table and my husband wanted to order another drink. We had to ask two different servers before we got the drink, but never got the salt or pepper. We took a piece of baklava home to enjoy after the show. It was delicious! We are not in the area and it's unlikely that we would be back to this restaurant in the future. We are foodies at heart and had this been a delicious meal - we likely would have driven all the way back to Worcester just for dinner. It unfortunately sort of missed the mark.

However, a lot of "spices". I ended up requesting more ginger beer and lime to cut it. That helped. But overall good quality drink. The Atlantic salmon crudo was very interesting. Nothing close to what I expected. It was gross. Really thick salmon over globs of a black garlic aioli. The ratio was so off. It was so pasty. I am shocked they haven't reviewed that item on their menu. Usually crudos are so nice and light. This was not. The wild Spanish octopus was the better of the three dishes. Just needed some more salt. Or more of the chorizo would have sufficed. I was surprised that this place was nothing like it used to be. Will not be back :(

Once they announce it, you need to call immediately or get shut out. My observation about the place itself. The U shaped bar is gigantic for the space. It's a bar-bar too not like a sushi counter. This seems to draw a crowd of local drinkers rather than the normal sushi crowd. You feel like you walked into a sports bar. The place was really loud and it was hard to hear the chef explaining everything. Once seated... it's the chefs carving the tuna off to the side. There were 2 bar tenders making drinks and like 3 chefs cutting tuna.... other than that, no waitstaff. Which is really odd. You have to grab the manager who was running around helping to get your Wasabi refilled. Not to mention they gave zero place settings for about 8 of us, until we asked. The bar tenders seemed to pass over my empty drink until I asked for a refill too. It's a more chaotic event than I would have liked for $120 per person. It also takes time to carve the tuna so if you arrive hungry be prepared to not get your first tiny bite until 45 minutes after the start. The star was Chef Timmy. Honestly he was awesome. The tuna.... so good. You end to with only 3 pieces of Nigiri which was a little disappointing but the sashimi part was unlimited. Of course you have to take your plate up and ask for some. They only put about 6 small pieces of the various cuts per trip. I think I went up 5 times for sashimi alone. The tuna handrolls you can make yourself or ask the chef nicely. Those were really good. Probably best I ever had because it's so fresh. There is a limited amount of the highly prized (and highly priced) Kamatoro, but you can experience it here as it's included in the experience. That's a hard cut to find. The finale was a shot of tuna spinal fluid. My first time with that but it's not bad. You're probably looking at $150 per person unless you order alcohol than it's alot more. The fresh cut tuna is amazing. I'm glad I did it. The chaos and the setting made it less than ideal. I don't think I would go again to this location for it. One and done. It's a bit weird that you're paying $120 for this and you're still intermingled with local patrons just there to grab some beers after work and watch the game. Because of the massive bar it is impossible to create a space secluded to do it. They also should have a roaming waiter at least taking care of the 30 people who came for this experience.
