Oat milk latte - A latte with foam art is presented in a white ceramic cup on a wooden table, with a glass of water and a bowl of sugar packets in the background.

Had a really delicious brunch here a couple months ago. I ordered an oat milk latte that was just perfection. Service was great, the food was incredible (shootout to the fried potatoes), and I really like the vibe and interior. Parking is a bit of a pain on the street but we were able to find space a short walk away. Would definitely return for brunch again!

Decor was cute. Service was great! Food left much to be desired. The plates felt unfinished.

Came back for WPI graduation weekend. This is a great little restaurant. We got Saptzel, chicken, a cheeseburger, Denver steak, and a soft shell crab pasta dish. And two great cocktails. Delicious.

We recently dined at Deadhorse Hill in Worcester, and our overall experience was nothing short of exceptional! Service was completely on point and the atmosphere was right on the money :-) Tip: The wine list is surprisingly expansive, with a number of bottles I recognized at very reasonable prices. We shared everything we ordered that evening family style, and each and every dish was beautifully presented and completely delicious; I can't recommend this venue enough, and look forward to the next time we return for another amazing meal.

Amazing ambiance. Amazing food. Great staff The best soft scramble i ever had And the staff is fun and they love balloon animals

This was on the table today. Duck eggs, perfectly fried, bacon, lettuce, tomato and the yummiest bread I've had in a while. So delicious!

They have some great cuisine but keep having misses in some dishes. Likely the best resturant in Worcester. Too pricey though.

The omelette was cooked just right with a great balance of cheese and flavorful veggies/mushrooms inside. The home fries could've been a touch softer and a bit more seasoned, but they still did an amazing job of complementing the meal. another star of the show was the house-made bread: warm, fluffy, lightly crisped, and just overall delicious. Easily one of the highlights; try all the bread here! The space itself feels warm and inviting, with a nice blend of trendy modern coffee shop energy and a deep sense of community. You can tell it's a place that means something to its diverse customers and its extremely kind and hospitable owners. Staff were kind and welcoming, and the overall vibe made it easy to settle in and enjoy the experience. Amazing coffee, amazing bread, amazing brunch, lovely people. Highly recommend checking it out. We ordered a cup of chicken rice soup, a chicken Caesar wrap (comes with sweet potato fries), 3 mini sugar cookies and bottled beverages. The soup we didn't care for at all. It was flavorless and had a smell to it. My 5 year old pointed the smell out to me. The wrap was a little different to me. It was just okay. The chicken didn't taste fresh - like packaged chicken. It had chic peas inside of it, which was different. Sweet potato fries were great. You're probably wondering why I gave them 5 stars. While sitting down, a gentleman came over and asked how our lunch was. I was honest with him for feedback knowing it was there second day. He offered to make it over. I declined. He then offered to give us treats (cookies/brownies), I then again declined and this time he insisted. He left our table and gave us some goodies to go. Because of his customer service, I'll rate this establishment 5 stars.

I stopped by to get a couple of coffees to go, and a pastry. The staff was very patient and pleasant to chat with - something I really miss with the larger coffee chains. The coffees were made exactly as I requested, and the pastry was warmed up and wrapped in a foil to maintain the heat. I really love the attention to detail. I'll note that I noticed they use Monin brand syrups (my favorite!). They are not the cheapest option, so it goes to show that the folks at Acoustic Java care about quality over maximizing profit. The location is great - a bit hidden, but the industrial vibe just fits for a small roasting company. I love that the roastery is visible through the glass panels. The packaged beans are all laid out for you to easily read the labels and shop. I love that they carry quality tea for non-coffee drinkers/tea lovers. The merch is also cute, I was very tempted to add yet another coffee shop tote bag to my hoard. They carry a huge variety of used and new books - and they offer the most unique pricing I've ever seen. You can look up the cost of the book online - so long as the condition is roughly the same, that's how much they will charge you for the book (+ tax)! That's amazing, and I don't know how they can possibly even make money with this policy, but with the giant chain and online retailers, it's really the best incentive to get folks to support local. I think one of the biggest highlights here, on top of the great coffee, ambiance, and service, is that they offer various tastings, classes, and live music events. Personally, I feel like this is key in building a community, and I love that they do this. You can look up the different events on their website, some of which are free to attend. I can definitely see this as a place to come read a book over some tea, catch up with a friend over coffee, or take a date to a barista class for a unique experience.

Their coffee remains consistent and they brew the best bean in town. Truly a hidden gem...literally. They're hidden in the back of Rotmans (old furniture store) and you'll never see it from the main road. I drink coffee on a regular basis and could probably consider myself an amateur coffee snob lol. Lately I have made a purchase for teas and my wife didn't like the selections I've chose so they were welcoming and honored an exchange. I just had to pay the difference which I was glad to. We had good company with us and so there's also ample seating in the next room--you can enter from the front of the building as you enter through the main entrance or go through the back. Cheers

If you can sit at the bar or in one of the 2 tables by the window, you'll get excellent service. The charcuterie board is great, and the drink selection is also pretty good. However, the last time we came here, it was the middle of the afternoon on Valentine's day. I'm from Boston and Cape Cod and my partner is European; we look like it and we act like it. Upon a brief interaction with the hostess, we both felt spoken down to: "YOU'RE trying to come in on Valentine's day? Without a reservation?" This, coming from someone with a Worcester accent who was dressed like a boy going to church choir. We were shooed away into the dining area: "I guess you could stand over there and look at the menu". It's about 330 in the afternoon- most tables are completely empty. Then a different staff member, also with a working class accent, says "I need you to clear out of this walkway because this is for staff only", despite the fact that no staff were walking there and we had been standing there about 20-30 seconds. We left without saying anything as the hostess tried to say something to us. If you want to feel spoken down to, in the working class city of Worcester no less, come here. Alternately, if you're feeling aggressive and want to squeeze your way in to sit touching shoulder to shoulder, come here. The time before this, the hostess was a soft-spoken woman who mumbled a lot; we had to elbow people out of the way at the middle bar section, which is where she directed us. Maybe in another year I'll want to come back for lunch only. Honestly, I'd rather drive back to Boston if I'm going to be treated snobbishly.
