My friend found the place and we figured we'd give it a try: the inside appears newly renovated and also well maintained. It's a pretty big menu. I opted for make your own omelette. I was disappointed with the egg- not sure if it was a mix but definitely looked and tasty sponge-y. It also was not hot just warm and cheese inside wasn't melted. The home fries were tasty. Tender and a good flavor of salt and spices. My husband found the pancakes just alright. My kids breakfast seemed alright. Coffee was kind weak. Not sure I'd return.

Enjoyed this new location in Shrewsbury. Extensive breakfast and lunch menu with decent prices. Cute decor with indoor / outdoor seating (overlooks the parking lot). Staff were friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back!

    shakshuka, homemade pancake, and omelette.

Excellent food, great service, and all for a great price. We had the shakshuka, caprese omelette, and a pancake.

We ordered the broccoli quiche, telling ourselves, "Look at us, eating green vegetables for breakfast. We are the picture of health and sophistication. And it was sophisticated. The quiche was fluffy, savory, and perfectly baked--the kind of dish that makes you feel like you should be sipping an espresso while wearing a silk robe. But then came the sunny-side-up eggs and home fries, and all pretense of restraint went right out the window. Those sunny-side-up eggs were a masterclass in tension. The yolks were so perfectly runny that the second we poked them, it was like a golden, delicious dam broke across the plate. Naturally, those crispy, heavily seasoned home fries were right there waiting to act as the ultimate cleanup crew. It became a beautiful, chaotic race against time to swipe up every drop of yolk with a potato. By the end, the plate looked like a battlefield, and we looked like we needed a post-breakfast nap. 10/10--the perfect balance of getting your daily vitamins and eating your weight in carbohydrates.

She was working like a well-oiled machine. I couldn't even keep track of my own order, I dunno how she handled five at a time! I asked the nice lady which sandwich she liked and could recommend, and she suggested the turkey with bacon and swiss melt, so I went with it. It didn't disappoint. Quintessential diner fare, done right. I have to admit though, looking around at other plates. Why the heck didn't I get breakfast? Wakey wakey, I love eggs and bacey. I think you will certainly not regret taking advantage of the all-day breakfast. You may not think it, but there *is* an artform to executing diner brekkie right, and it would appear that Kim delivers. I overheard her talking about the development plans just behind the diner. You guessed it. Ugly cardboard condos! I think the diner will survive the onslaught of development and gentrification, but just in case... you better visit soon, because you don't know what you got 'til it's gone.

The place was packed, the staff was friendly, and the walls were a nostalgic sticker bomb, giving the whole diner a time-capsule kind of charm. I had the strawberry-banana ricotta stuffed French toast--sweet, creamy, and dangerous. My partner went savory with a Philly steak & cheese omelette plus homemade corned beef hash that honestly deserves its own Yelp page. My only gripe? I like my hot chocolate super chocolatey, and this one leaned more on the watery side for my taste. Come hungry, leave in a food coma. I'll be back.

It almost has a homey feel and the servers are always friendly. Their food tends to be hearty and comforting. A few dishes I have tried and enjoyed include: - The cassoulet, which is not a traditional French cassoulet at all, but it is comforting and filling. I would give it an 8/10 (ask for extra bread). - The baked brie is really good and comes in a big portion. I would give this a 10/10. - Le Jardinier is an open-face veggie sandwich. It has a lot piled on the bread, so it can get a bit soggy, but it is a good lighter option if you do not want one of their heavier dishes. 7/10. - The gratin is sooooo good. It is a super decadent mac and cheese with thin slices of prosciutto. 10/10 - Chaider (not a food item) is my favorite drink. It is a mix of chai and apple cider 10/10. - The duck house potatoes and eggs are good, but if your eggs are overcooked, the dish can be a bit dry since there is no sauce. I think an option to add hollandaise would potentially elevate this dish. 7/10. The gougeres, beignets and crêpes are also good.
