Soooooo I had high hopes for this place because the parking was jammed and there was nothing available- buttttt when I walked in, there was a feee spot at the bar and a few other tables open. Let's start with the decor- the description is eclectic and I'll agree to that. There is no actual "decor" except for a few enlarged photo prints of the area and a few led lights plugged in behind the bar on the shelving unit near the tv. Some random Valentine's Day decorations and a plastic Christmas tree along with a faux greenery wall that says "brunch" round it all out. The first thing I did was use the restroom after my hour drive from RI, and honestly it was yucky. The plug in electric air freshener was brown with burnt scent, it hadn't been changed in months but was still plugged into the wall. The door was filthy with dirt and handprints and there was no TP refills anywhere. A small electric plug in heater was dangerously close to the trash bin. I unplugged the air freshener because it was a total fire hazard. The bar was a cluttered mess with random mail and an old energy drink bottle, the bartender who was busy making drinks and helping each waitress with whatever their question about this or that, seemed overwhelmed- but was nice enough. They make many many different kinds of breakfast cocktails and I think that takes away from the place. Too many different variations of mimosa and my Bloody Mary- the mix was overly salty and the rim fell into the bottom of the glass making the last sip nothing but Tajin and Salt. The plain old fashioned original mimosa was good tho. The food: just not my vibe. The eggs Bennie say that they use homemade panini bread but mine was what looked like a basic hamburger bun. The corned beef was fine, eggs cooked how I like. The hollandaise was chunky and weird and the home fries were just hunks of boiled potatoes with seasoning. I did get a side of a banana pancake and it came out as a regular pancake with a whole banana cut up on top. Do they not know to cook the banana in the pancake? Weird. All in all the staff was nice enough but I probably would never come to this spot again. One and done for me.

First time at Livia's Dish, and definitely won't be the last. The food was excellent, and not overly saturated in too much sauce. Our waiter was very kind and checked on us every chance she could, even though the place was fairly busy. The inside layout is also very structured with two tiers and not cramped together.

Love this place! The food, service and ambiance were top notch. Our served Diana was such a sweetheart with the best energy and attitude. Banana Waffle absolutely slaps but honestly all the food was delicious and portions are huge. Plus there's a little parking lot next to the restaurant which was nice and easy.

I recently met friends at this establishment for a mid-morning brunch, and it exceeded all expectations. The staff was exceptionally friendly, ensuring top-notch service. Our waitress was outstanding, demonstrating excellent knowledge of the menu and a warm demeanor. The restaurant's size was just right, offering a cozy ambiance with a well-equipped bar for socializing. However, the highlight was undeniably the food. As a self-proclaimed Eggs Benedict connoisseur, I have high standards. The Eggs Benedict here surpassed my expectations; perfectly cooked eggs, delectable hollandaise sauce, and delightful fried potatoes made for an exceptional dish. I also indulged in a half order of the strawberry banana crepe with Nutella, a recommendation from our waitress, and it was a delightful side dish. The prices were reasonable considering the generous portions. If you're in search of a lunch or brunch spot in Worcester or the surrounding area I highly recommend giving this place a try. You're sure to be as impressed as I was.

The food was very tasty. I love a good brunch so I was glad I was able to stop here. I wish the parking lot was a bigger, but that seems to be a Worcester problem in general.

We were driving through on our way back from the Cape. Looking for a place for Brunch. Yelp! had our back. Livia's was fantastic. Outdoor seating, indoor seating with big windows, or seating upstairs. The decor was fun and eclectic. Our server was super friendly and helpful with a great attitude and smile. Our food, check the pictures was delicious. We always ask, would we come back. A hard yes! We will be back!

My husband and I needed to find a place for breakfast in between my daughter's two hockey games. So happy we tried Livia's Dish!!! I had two over easy eggs with rye toast and fresh fruit, one of my favorite breakfasts, and they did a fantastic job! The cotton candy mimosa was also fantastic and cool! And every single person that worked there was friendly, from the lady who checked us in, to our waitress, to the gentleman putting the dishes away! Would highly recommend for brunch!

The go to is the steak and eggs added veggies and cheese. So much flavor and portion. We left with one to-go box with not much in it.

Livia's Dish is a great spot for when you want a great breakfast which you will always get. I always look at food coming out and going past me as the server is bringing it to their customers. Which they always smile. However, there is another factor you can have alcohol beverages as well during your breakfast or brunch endeavors. If you are feeling feisty that late brunch afternoon with the family or friends.

Ham, spinach, bell pepper, and cheese omelet --wrap style!

Met up here with friends who were driving through to Boston! THE FOOD: -everyone (party of 4) enjoyed what they ordered! -I opted to get my omelette "as a wrap" and omg it was delicious! I CRAVE a good crisped tortilla/wrap and so many places don't do it or don't do it well. Livia's dish delivered! -I didn't like any of the omelet combos on the menu so I picked my own ingredients and it came out just as I ordered! -really great portion sizes too -the breakfast potatoes were a little meh, but overall enjoyed my meal -my friend had an eggs Benedict which looked very good and was filling that she didn't finish it -my other friend got the steak and eggs, which I had contemplated ordering, and I was so jealous I hadn't!! It looked amazing -I would struggle picking what I want to eat next time between how good mine was and how delicious theirs looked! THE DRINKS: -our party split one of the bottles of champagne mimosas -I like that they pop it at the table and pour for you, but the girl who delivered ours filled them nearly to the top, leaving barely any champagne in the bottle between the 4 of us. Most of us wanted to try the different juices with our bubbly, so we had to awkwardly ask our waitress for new glasses to pour out some of our champagne to try with the diff juice flavors -I liked the variety of options for mimosa flavors, juices came in such cute glass jars -their other cocktails looked AMAZING! I wish we had tried some. We were seated near the bar and loved watching all the concoctions headed to their tables THE SERVICE: -our waitress was lovely! Very attentive and helpful THE LOCATION: -might be hard to get a parking spot if you go during peak hours but seems you can park down side streets w no issue -we didn't have time to wait for a patio table or we would have! The outdoor seating looked nice -indoors had lots of seating in different areas. We were seated at the top (walk up a few steps) at a corner table near the bar -it looked like in the back corner there was a cute photo opportunity wall but it was right behind a table so kind of awkward if you wanted a pic...and would be unknown unless you were seated up there or needed to use the restroom. Overall, it was one of the best brunches I've had in a while! It's about an hour drive for us but I would love an excuse to go back! Highly recommend.

What a lovely spot for breakfast, lunch or brunch! I went to breakfast with a friend of mine. When we showed up, the parking lot was full and there was no more street parking. We found another free lot on the same block and parked there. We were worried about how long we would have to wait to be seated... but there was no wait at all! The inside is very intimate and well decorated. There are regular tables, high tops, and bar seating. There were couples and families of a wide age range. Here is the rundown: Food - 5 stars. I got a waffle with strawberries and my friend got stuffed pancakes with cinnamon apples. Both were amazing. All you need to do is browse yelp photos to know the food will be delicious. Drink - 4 stars. My coffee was weak and watery. This was surprising for a breakfast place. There were lots of other drink options with or without alcohol. Atmosphere - 4 stars. The room itself was lovely, but the bathroom was disgusting. I can look past the fact that it needed a renovation, but the overhead light was filled with dead bugs, the sink was dirty, and the floors were nasty. The owners need to bring this space up to par with the rest. Service - 5 stars. The host and the server were friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed this place and I intend to return.

    Eggs Your Way

Food: Salmon Benedict's was delicious, I had asked for my home fries to be crispy and they were also so good. If you don't like home-friest to be soft, this is the best bet to having something similar to hashbrowns. You get a good amount of home fries as well. Service: Our waiter was effeicent and easy to grab our order, and the host was attentive with letting us know our table was ready. Ambiance: It's pretty busy on weekends for breakfast bc of how popular it is. Unfortunely you can't make reservations, so your best bet is to call ahead of time or arrive in person to put your name/phone number if you want to get a table. Wait time can take between 15-45 min. They also have outdoor seating which is nice on a beautiful day. I recommend coming in as soon as it opens or even between brunch hours 12-2pm if you don't want to wait too long for weekends. Location accommodation: They have a parking lot but it gets full quick, so there are some side parking adjacent to the resturatnt.

    Lunch Livias Fettuccini
    Melissa V.

My friend and I had an excellent lunch at Livia's Dish. My friend got the fettuccine Alfredo that had a poached egg on it, she said it was the best fettuccine alfredo that she's ever tasted. I ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken (my go to favorite) and it was also delicious. They do have a private parking lot and we found a parking spot easily. It's a little loud in the restaurant and we were there on a weekday. My only issue is when we asked for separate checks at the end and our server told us we need to ask for that when we ordered as it's computerized and can't be changed once the order is put in. The funny thing is we go out every week and this is the first time it's been an issue. Anyways, we enjoyed our meal and would definitely return!

The food is excellent. The server ( Kiarah) is very knowledgeable and helpful in our choices. First time for a panini sandwich. Homefries are delicious. Coffee is nice and hot. We will be recommending this restaurant to our friends.

You'd be forgiven for walking past without a second look, assuming it's just another mom and pop breakfast and lunch joint. One doing a brisk takeout business for the neighboring businesses and likely not a place you'd try for more upscale fare. You'd be wrong! Beyond the admittedly dated decor and past the countertop service of dinner standards is a kitchen that turns out food that hits well above its weight. With a daily list of specials that would do most $50 a plate restaurants proud expect to have your first impressions blown away. Haddock cooked with a very Mediterranean mix of artichokes, olives, onions, and cherry tomato's in a lemon/butter/ fish stock, Jambalaya done wet in the traditional New Orleans style with house made creol seasoning, a shrimp and veg stir fry with Bok Choy served uniquely with fat fettuccine noodles in the house made broth. All spectacularly good, all incredibly under priced! A word about the wine list: there is none! Far better, it's BYOB with food that justifies pulling your better bottles. Perfect. Don't spread this around, but the daily lunch specials mirror the by reservation only dinner menu...for half the price. In sum, Theater Cafe far exceedes expectations and delivers a remarkable value. You come here for the food, not for the ambiance, perfect service, to be seen by the right people, or God forbid because some snooty food critic deigned to give it 5 stars. It's a place Michelin will never review and we should all be greatful for that.

If you can sit at the bar or in one of the 2 tables by the window, you'll get excellent service. The charcuterie board is great, and the drink selection is also pretty good. However, the last time we came here, it was the middle of the afternoon on Valentine's day. I'm from Boston and Cape Cod and my partner is European; we look like it and we act like it. Upon a brief interaction with the hostess, we both felt spoken down to: "YOU'RE trying to come in on Valentine's day? Without a reservation?" This, coming from someone with a Worcester accent who was dressed like a boy going to church choir. We were shooed away into the dining area: "I guess you could stand over there and look at the menu". It's about 330 in the afternoon- most tables are completely empty. Then a different staff member, also with a working class accent, says "I need you to clear out of this walkway because this is for staff only", despite the fact that no staff were walking there and we had been standing there about 20-30 seconds. We left without saying anything as the hostess tried to say something to us. If you want to feel spoken down to, in the working class city of Worcester no less, come here. Alternately, if you're feeling aggressive and want to squeeze your way in to sit touching shoulder to shoulder, come here. The time before this, the hostess was a soft-spoken woman who mumbled a lot; we had to elbow people out of the way at the middle bar section, which is where she directed us. Maybe in another year I'll want to come back for lunch only. Honestly, I'd rather drive back to Boston if I'm going to be treated snobbishly.
