    Fried Clam Strips & Fries

Not bad not the best. This is a middle ground try for me. The pros are that the food was fresh and it was made up very quickly, under 10min. Friendly service and convenient pick up. The clam strips were cooked nicely; light breading and well seasoned. The fries were good but, for me personally, could have stayed in the fryer for an extra minute. The coleslaw really lacked for me, it needed some acidity, vinegar or lemon juice and a touch of salt/pepper. The tartar sauce lacked the same depth, a little more relish would have gone a long way. Overall I'd try them again, maybe pick up some scallops that look really good in their posts and just prepare myself to add a little of my own things to the condiments and sides :) They have a food truck and restaurant, I went with the food truck this go around. Convenient to have both within Leicester where we lack good, non chain, options.

This is Scallop & Shrimp Combo! Yummmmy

The food always amazing and fresh!! The fried Seafood is out of this world as well! Easy access, ramp accesible and extremely friendly staff! The combination of the staff, crew and quality of the food, you can't go wrong!

Our waitress was pleasant and prompt throughout our dinner. On our first visit my co-diner ordered the fried scallops, and thought they were very tasty. So, on this visit we ordered: * 2 - Fried Scallop Baskets (one with regular fries, the other with sweet potato fries) * Chicken Wings Side with BBQ Sauce Our order arrived quite quickly, and I immediately sampled a sweet potato fry. Tasty! Hot, crispy, and nicely cooked. The same could be said for the regular fries. It's unfortunate so many restaurants are French fried challenged, with fries that are served too cool and limp. Kudos to Juicy Seafood for great fries. The scallops were also tasty, with or without the bread crumbs (which come off very easily). They were fresh tasting, very hot and very juicy. However, the chicken wings were not good, they were overcooked, overloaded with sauce and difficult to eat. I wouldn't recommend those. Overall, we were happy with our dinner and would be delighted to return.

Friends ordered the salmon and mushroom ravioli and both really enjoyed their meals. Service was prompt, friendly and attentive. Not much to look at from outside nestled in a tight residential neighborhood with limited street parking but complimentary valet service. Going inside of the restaurant ,however, the space is much more upscale and very nice. Prices were what I would expect for an upscale menu of this quality with most entrees between $25 and $40. I look forward to returning!

Mare E Monti - Exceptional Authentic Italian & Seafood Pasta Spot in Worcester, MA…read more Mare E Monti is an exceptional Italian gem -- probably home to the best seafood pasta I've ever had. I was in town ahead of a half marathon near Hampton Beach on Sunday. After a long drive and a surprise call that my extended family was touring the East Coast nearby, we decided to meet halfway -- and Worcester made perfect sense. I booked a table for eight at 8 PM on Saturday. We miscounted our party, which led to about a 45-minute wait, but honestly, that just gave us more time to catch up. The interior strikes a lovely balance -- rustic yet modern, cozy yet romantic, and unmistakably Italian in feel. Starters We kicked off with two plates of Calamari Fritti -- classic native calamari, lightly fried and tossed with cherry peppers and a delicate butter sauce. Absolutely delicious; I had to restrain myself from finishing the whole plate. Complimentary garlic bread with olive oil was also served, and I stopped myself at 2-3 slices to save room for the race-fueling carbs to come. For salad, I chose the Insalata Casalinga -- crisp field greens, grape tomatoes, julienne carrots, cucumbers, red onion, and imported olives in a light vinaigrette. Simple, fresh, and highly recommended. The Main Event The real reason I chose Mare E Monti was simple: carb loading. I went with the Pasta con Cozze e Fagioli -- sautéed mussels in a garlic white wine sauce with diced tomatoes and cannellini beans, tossed with linguine. It was everything I'd hoped for: flavorful yet light, satisfying without being heavy. The mussels were tender, the beans added substance, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. Others at the table tried the Ravioli di Aragosta (lobster ravioli) on my recommendation. I snagged a bite -- and it was heavenly. Rich, delicate, and beautifully balanced. Final Thoughts Dinner here was the perfect pre-race meal -- nourishing without weighing me down. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service attentive, and the food consistently excellent. Even parking was simple; I found easy street parking just around the corner (though valet is also available). Oh, and the next morning? I ran a personal best in my half marathon -- just over 1 hour and 20 minutes. I'd like to think the perfect plate of pasta helped fuel that finish. All in all, Mare E Monti is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine and standout seafood pasta in the Worcester area. I'll absolutely be back next time I'm in Massachusetts. On this evening, I was joined by my co-diner who prefers Chinese food to Sushi. We ordered: * Salmon Sashimi (2 orders - 3 pieces each) * Fantastic Roll: Salmon, Tuna, Yellowtail, Avocado, Fish Roe with Soy Paper * Gyoza * Spring Roll * Pork Dumplings (Fried) * Chicken Fried Rice Total: $73 with tax and tip. The Salmon Sashimi was very good, thick slices of fresh and buttery salmon. The Fantastic Roll was good, albeit not fantastic. The menu mentioned fish roe, but I didn't see or taste any. And rounding out the good dishes was the Gyoza, which was nicely prepared, light and crispy. However, the last three dishes ranged from just okay to categorically terrible. The Spring Roll was okay, we've had better, but it was passable. The Pork Dumplings were unappetizing, the dough was much too heavy, too chewy and most of these remained uneaten and found their way into the trash. The Chicken Fried Rice was very, very dry and flavorless. My co-diner thought it was the worst fried rice she's ever eaten, and most of it was dumped in the trash. The big takeaway from our takeaway dinner was, come here for the sushi, not the Chinese food!

We went during lunch time (they have lunch specials), but we noticed so many tables had the pupu platter. We appreciated that this restaurant's meat actually had a meaty texture and not overly tenderized and questionable like many other Chinese restaurants. The vegetables were not mushy on the platter. I loved how the fried rice is like old school fried rice with bean sprouts. The food wasn't too sweet nor salty. We will definitely be coming back with more family!
