Went here on a Friday night around 630, was told there was a 40 minute wait, not bad for a busy Friday, so gave my name & #. Ended up being seated in less than 15 minutes because an outside table opened up. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their patio was comfortable, had heaters so we weren't cold[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and Cameron was amazing, very attentive, kind and overall just great. The drinks & food were delicious and the dessert I ordered to go (maple creme brulee) was PHENOMENAL!! I will definitely be back!

Brickstone Kitchen is a very popular spot, though I wonder if that's because of the dearth of restaurants in the area. I decided to try it again even though I've had some disappointing dishes in the past. On this hot summer evening, with few tables available, we were promptly seated at a high top next to the bar. After perusing their extensive menu and ordering a 6 ounce glass of merlot ($11) and cabernet $10), we selected the following: * Chicken Anthony $24 * Sarah's Scampi $26 Our waitress team was very nice and attentive, and even though it was busy, our dinners arrived quickly. The portion sizes were good and the food was hot, a good beginning. Unfortunately the shrimp was a little overcooked and dry, and the angel hair pasta was so dry I asked for some melted butter. It took a long time to get the butter, the waitress apologized that the kitchen forgot to make it and it arrived near end of our dinner. The Chicken Anthony was incrementally better, one piece of chicken was fairly tender and tasty, the other was tough and dry. Overall, diners can expect an extensive menu, reasonable prices and friendly service here. The food seems to be hit or miss, and thus another three-star review.

After driving by this place forever we finally decided to stop and see why it's always so busy. It didn't take long to figure out why! We went on a holiday Monday and it was as busy as a Friday but with, thankfully, only a short wait. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside was clean and the staff were super friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was fresh and everything came out warm. The flavors were good but not necessarily the highlight of our visit. The portions were large and we were able to take the leftovers home. They had a nice drink menu and even had some good craft beer selections. Overall, this is the kind of place I really enjoy. Locally owned/operated, friendly vibe and a great menu! I can't believe it took me so long to dine here!

Before the holiday I ordered a little smorgasbord for some friends out of this joint. Wowzaaaa! Food smacks! I love that they have a separate pull up area for takeout orders. It's off a very busy 146 and gets a lot of traffic, thus eliminates a lot of issues. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I picked up the goods on a weeknight and the place was slammed. Like, line out the door slammed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We divvied up the food to all try some. None were disappointed! Flavors on flavors. Every single dish was delish. Highest recommendation! Bon appetite!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Tucked right off 146, Brickstone Kitchen is a cozy, brick-lined American eatery with rustic charm and a welcoming outdoor setup.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a convenient stop with a relaxed vibe, though it leans on the pricier side.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outdoor seating is a plus, but the pace of service struggled to keep up during our visit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food & Drinks We started with the corn dip, which was flavorful -- just the right balance of mayo, herbs, and sweetness from the corn. That said, it came with way more chips than dip, which felt a little mismatched. I ordered the lobster roll next. It came generously packed with meat, but the flavor didn't quite hit for me -- too heavy on the dill and celery. If it had a simpler, buttery or light mayo-based dressing with a softer bun, it could've been a standout. ‍ Service & Hospitality Service was noticeably slow. It seemed like only one server was handling the entire outdoor section, and she was clearly stretched thin. While she was doing her best, the delays made it hard to fully enjoy the experience. Definitely not ideal if you're in a rush or expecting attentive service. Unique Selling Point Brickstone has potential -- solid menu variety, a charming setting, and good ingredients. But if they can streamline service and simplify certain flavor profiles, this could be a much stronger dining option for the area.

Loved this place. It is right on highway and from front it does not give you much to form a good opinion. But once you have given it a chance and enter, it pleasantly surprises you with warm vibes. Staff is very friendly and helpful. You get the seat right away. They have summer specials and lunch specials menu. They also have small bar which looked pretty good. We ordered popcorn shrim as starter and felt pretty good about it We had steak tips and veg burger with sweet potato fries. Everything was great. Steak was medium rare and was very tender and juicy. First time i loved a steak at any place. Veg burger was good too. Sweet potato fries are our favorite and this place does it pretty well. A must visit place this is.

I got a large pie half pepperoni half regular. The pepperoni slices were inedible- the pepperoni is incredibly spicy. It's not regular pepperoni. The plain slices were better than the pepperoni, but still not good . They had too much sauce and the cheese was too salty. The cheese was also congealed in one mass, not melty, so all the cheese would fall off the slice in one congealed piece. The crust itself was pretty good though. It was $23 for a half topping pizza that's about 20% smaller than a traditional NY pie that would cost about that. Not a giant rip off, but also just not a great deal for a small town pizzeria right off the highway... Maybe their other pizza and dishes are better, but this very basic, classic pizza I got was incredibly disappointing. I can usually eat an entire large New York by myself- this pie was split between two people, and there were still slices left over.

Traffic in the area was heavy, and I initially missed the entrance to the parking lot. Fortunately, I found street parking about a block away. Once inside, it was easy to understand why parking can be at a premium. The restaurant was packed. Another patron entering at about the same time mentioned that the place is always busy. Our BNO crew is usually five strong, but only four of us made it this evening. We had a 7:15 p.m. reservation and were seated within a few minutes of arriving. It took about five minutes for our waitress to reach the table, but she did an admirable job considering how many customers she was serving. There were plenty of tempting items on the menu. We ordered: Appetizers * Ahi Tuna - Cajun-seared ahi tuna with Asian sesame and Napa cabbage slaw ($17) * Calamari - Cherry and banana peppers with cocktail sauce ($16) * Caesar Salad - Romaine, Parmesan, croutons, and creamy Caesar dressing ($13) * Mixed Greens Salad - Mixed greens, carrot, cherry tomato, red onion, cucumber, and honey-lime vinaigrette ($13) Entrees * Shrimp Francese (Dinner Special) - Five jumbo shrimp prepared Francese-style with scampi risotto and roasted tomato ($34) * Bolognese - Linguini with veal, beef, pork, and a touch of cream ($27) * Cioppino - Linguini with clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops, spinach, and tomato broth ($36) * Grilled Salmon - Parmesan risotto, roasted Brussels sprouts, and lemon cream ($31) Dessert Pistachio Ice Cream Special - Shared four ways and absolutely delicious. My ahi tuna appetizer was excellent. I was less impressed with the Shrimp Francese dinner special, which had a slightly fishy taste. I also sampled the calamari, which was flavorful but served a bit cool for my liking. The other members of our BNO group enjoyed their meals, especially the bolognese (a very large portion), and we all agreed that we'd happily return. The restaurant itself is attractive, but be aware that it gets very busy and quite loud. If you're looking for a quiet, intimate dinner, this may not be your first choice. If you're looking for energetic atmosphere, good food, and a lively crowd, Arcos delivers.

It's somewhat in the middle of nowhere, so why was it difficult to get a reservation for Saturday night? Simply said, great food at reasonable prices. Our choices were 4:30 or 6:30, we chose to go early after a two-mile chilly walk along the beautiful Blackstone Canal, just 7 minutes away from the UxLocale. We were seated immediately and our waitress arrived in just moments. We were provided menus, waters and we ordered some drinks which arrived not long after. There were only a few patrons here as the UxLocale opens at 4pm. The menu changes weekly, and our party of four selected: * Warm Pecorino with Truffle Honey Cheese * Tuscan Shrimp Pappardelle * Tomato Carbonara Pappardelle * (2) 1.5" New York Strip Steak * Cannoli for Dessert Let's start with the steaks. In a word, delicious! Both were cooked perfectly medium rare, tender and juicy. Two sides are included, I got the Beet Salad (tasty and nicely dressed) and the potatoes with bacon which were awesome. A co-diner ordered the same dish but got the Caesar salad which he liked very much. We both agreed, a solid 5-star dinner at a reasonable $37 price. The shrimp plate looked beautiful and substantial. The diner loved it and ate every bite. The Tomato Carbonara Pappardelle was also tasty, albeit with strong pepper undertones. If you don't like a lot of pepper, you might try a different dish, or ask if the chefs can cut back on it. That said, I liked it and would be happy to order this. Most of the diners liked the Warm Pecorino with Truffle Honey Cheese Skillet (slices of Pecorino Romano cheese, warmed to a mild melt and drizzled with truffle-infused honey. The salty, sharp cheese and sweet, pungent honey are a classic pairing in Tuscan cuisine. Warmed and served on a cast-iron skillet). I liked it, one diner thought it was too salty, though that is the way it's described above. The dishes are all large, three of us brought home leftovers. We finished by sharing a cannoli dessert, which was excellent, crispy cannoli with a light and tasty filling. An outstanding dinner, with excellent services at a reasonable price (dinner for four with drinks was $209 before tip). A solid 5-stars on this visit. Note that they request tips be left in cash (for all of us who use little if any cash these days). There is a cash machine when you first enter.
