    Paella. New on the menu

As usual the food and service was amazing. Great food and the waitresses are always fun and helpful. I had paella and it was spectacular. It's new on the menu. One thing I would advise.....PLEASE, PLEASE don't have bands inside. The place is too small for live music!!! It belongs outside in your outdoor space. We hadn't see our friends in months and wanted to catch up with them. The music made that impossible. Bad atmosphere for conversation

What a great dinner!!! My honey glazed salmon on sweet pea risotto and Nina's hangar steak salad were both very very good. BUT, this new addition of chicken poblano soup might just be the best I've EVER had, for real!! And look how cute the mini charCUTErie is too. Some new staff and a new menu, if you haven't been here for a while, you must try it again. Also, the new table added must be for us, see the antique "grinder" on it?

Excellent find in the suburbs. Friendly service. Great menu. Reasonable prices. Go there, now! The clams' Enduja were fantastic!

Had been wanting to try this place for years since moving to the area and finally got the chance! Love that all their ingredients/meals are locally sourced, so people know here complaining about the pricing should realize that's why and have that expectation going into it. They have live music on the weekends and though the space is kind of loud and packed, the atmosphere is really unique and makes it a cool experience.

A hidden gem! Great ambiance and good energy. Service was outstanding with Maddie! A bit of a wait but worth it! Food was delicious. Whipped feta dip was excellent starter. The salmon with sweet pea risotto was fabulous. Ended with an outstanding flourless chocolate torte!

That was beautiful taste for pizza, pasta and artichoke dip. And that was good cheese and tomato with artichoke dip. My parent's friends, my parents and I were going to the UxLocale. That is best place, The UxLocale!

Unless you're from the area, you probably have never heard of this place, and that's too bad. A small, locally owned restaurant that delivers chef inspired food. The menu is small, but offers all local sourced ingredients. A nice open area kitchen, and small U-shaped bar. We were pre-warned that they use only local ingredients and when they sell out they sell out, so get there early. We were sat right away and our waitress was very nice. They have a great beer menu of local beers, but only in cans. We started with the Truffle Crusted Taters, potato wedges with Parmesan cheese and truffle oil. So good! We then each had a pasta dish. Wife the vodka sauce with homemade sausage and I the Tuscan Chicken. Both were amazing. To top it all off the pasta was made fresh and in-house. They also have a great pizza oven, with many cool pizza types. Warning to bring cash, as they only allow a cash tip for the waitress/waiter.

So we came back to give it another try. This time we made reservations and were seated inside. I would love to sit outside again if it wasn't really hot (last time we were miserably hot). It's beautiful inside and so glad we got to see it! My mom really wanted to try this restaurant after seeing it on Phantom Gourmet and I'm happy we brought her. Mom got one of the specials which was a pulled pork sandwich with hush puppies. She said it was delicious and could only eat half so we got the rest to take home. My husband and I both ordered one of the offerings that was featured on Phantom Gourmet, mine had homemade sausage in a vodka sauce and I'm not sure what my husbands was called but it had a white sauce and cherry tomatoes in it. We both enjoyed our selections very much. We all made sure to save room for desserts...my mom picked the almond macaroons and said they were delicious, my husband got the tiramisu (I tried it and it was so good) and I got the cheesecake which was good, but nothing outstanding. Last time we came my husband had an issue with the selection of beer and I'm happy to say this time his taste in beer has 'grown up' and he was very happy with the two different beers he tried!! Yay!!! Unfortunately, they only have beer and wine. I'm not a wine drinker and don't care for beer with my meals (too filling), so it would be great if they carried some hard seltzer's!! We saw some really amazing salads going past us and we've already decided to come back to try that with pizza!!

If you can sit at the bar or in one of the 2 tables by the window, you'll get excellent service. The charcuterie board is great, and the drink selection is also pretty good. However, the last time we came here, it was the middle of the afternoon on Valentine's day. I'm from Boston and Cape Cod and my partner is European; we look like it and we act like it. Upon a brief interaction with the hostess, we both felt spoken down to: "YOU'RE trying to come in on Valentine's day? Without a reservation?" This, coming from someone with a Worcester accent who was dressed like a boy going to church choir. We were shooed away into the dining area: "I guess you could stand over there and look at the menu". It's about 330 in the afternoon- most tables are completely empty. Then a different staff member, also with a working class accent, says "I need you to clear out of this walkway because this is for staff only", despite the fact that no staff were walking there and we had been standing there about 20-30 seconds. We left without saying anything as the hostess tried to say something to us. If you want to feel spoken down to, in the working class city of Worcester no less, come here. Alternately, if you're feeling aggressive and want to squeeze your way in to sit touching shoulder to shoulder, come here. The time before this, the hostess was a soft-spoken woman who mumbled a lot; we had to elbow people out of the way at the middle bar section, which is where she directed us. Maybe in another year I'll want to come back for lunch only. Honestly, I'd rather drive back to Boston if I'm going to be treated snobbishly.

I've seen on social media that people complained about the new location having mainly street parking - we both found parking easily on the street - quit yer b*tchin' people lol. Besides I believe they have a lot behind the restaurant that we didn't have to use but it's there if needed. We were the only ones there when we first walked in but more patrons came in as the night went on. Made our way to the bar and orders were flowing - one warning if you're sitting at the bar, it is an open kitchen so there will be alot of aromas flowing through and may get on your clothes but really it'll just remind you of how good the food was. Also, the barstools are not the most comfy - metal stools with no backing so after 2.5 hours, we were feeling a bit achy. We ordered way more than we should've but everything just looked so good! We got the croquettes (our absolute fave), the cauliflower, the pizza du jour (I think it had spinach, pepperoni, ricotta and garlic) and for entrees we got the fish tacos and the Orecchiette. Not one complaint - everything was divine. Croquettes were melty, smoky little nuggets of heaven and our favorites bites of the night. The pizza had a great balance of flavors and the crust was thin and crispy. We were so full but had a few bites of the fish tacos and pasta - the fish was cooked to perfection and the aioli it came with topped it perfectly. Pasta was different - had a scallion cream sauce that was a nice change up from your typical Alfredo. Don't sleep on this place - the street is busy being on a main road but so well worth the visit, I didn't catch our bartender's name but he and a few other servers were super personable and friendly - gave us just enough time in between meals and personal space to not hover. Absolutely will return!

We asked the manager for some napkins to prop up the wobbly table and he said (quote) "Why don't you tell your kid not to stand on his chair" and walked away. The kid in question was literally sitting in his chair with one foot against the table. We explained to the manager the impact of what he said, and gave him multiple opportunities to apologize. We get it: its St Patrick's Day in an Irish bar and it's stressful. But instead of recognizing that he snapped: he doubled down and tried to convince us that his language fine, and that we were in the wrong for calling him out. I even talked with him an hour later, after it had cooled off, and he continued to be aggressive and dismissive. A bad manager is one thing. But our server didn't acknowledge the awkwardness (even as other families watched in shock), just trying to rush us out. The food was probably the worst it's ever been at Stone's, which raises questions of why. It's understandable to have a bad day, it's *not* ok to set the tone for your staff and establishment that berating your customers, unprompted, is acceptable.
