Broccoli Cheddar soup - A bowl of broccoli cheddar soup with visible chunks of broccoli and melted cheese is on a white plate, with a metal spoon inserted into the soup. The bowl is on a black napkin, and the table has a paper placemat with restaurant advertisements. There is a wrapped bread roll and a black napkin in the background.

A local dive watering place. Visited for lunch and it was hopping. The bartender/ waitress was awesome. Attentive to her bar and her table guests. The broccoli Cheddar soup was tasty and a good start to lunch. The taco salad was basic but good. The taco shell was crispy and not oily- awesome. I did add some ranch so it was not dry- highly recommend. Overall a good lunch and suggest you give it a visit.

Kapi's Pub is a dive but I was surprised at what fun we had here. There are two separate sections, a dining area and bar area. Three of us sat at a high top table in the bar area. We had two waitresses that served us, both were funny and quick. We started with an order of naked wings with a side of Buffalo sauce and Stinging Honey sauce. The wings were crispy and sauce's spicy. I ordered wine which was poured from a mini bottle, my friends had beer from tap. For food we ordered a hamburger, salad with grilled chicken and a Buffalo chicken wrap. My burger was cooked medium, served with crunchy tater tots and was delicious. Friends said the salad and wrap were very good and portion size was large. Watching food come out of the kitchen will make us want to come back for other menu items. The Fish & Chips looked good as well as the Country Fried Chicken dinner. We ate, talked and drank for about two hours. Overhearing other patrons were funny and everyone seemed to have a good time. Someone played a prank by putting what appeared to be a real $20 bill in the mens room urinal. It was fake and the bill eventually disintegrated.

Saturday Specials - A rectangular illuminated menu board with a black frame shows Saturday specials written in bright blue neon light. The menu includes items such as beef stew, fish 'n chips, shrimp plate, steak tip sub, porchetta sub with cheese, scallop plate, and steak strip sandwich, with prices listed next to each item. The board is hung on a wall with a chain at the top, and a small sign below provides allergy notification instructions.

What a great pub! Good food & prices. I had the Fish & Chips baked, it was fresh and delicious. A couple people had the beef stew, they said that they get it every time because it's always good. I asked for a cocktail with gin. Kaley and Suzanne mixed up something so good I just had to have more than one!

We haven't dined here in quite some time, but decided to join some friends to this out of the way…read morerestaurant. It's somewhat in the middle of nowhere, so why was it difficult to get a reservation for Saturday night? Simply said, great food at reasonable prices. Our choices were 4:30 or 6:30, we chose to go early after a two-mile chilly walk along the beautiful Blackstone Canal, just 7 minutes away from the UxLocale. We were seated immediately and our waitress arrived in just moments. We were provided menus, waters and we ordered some drinks which arrived not long after. There were only a few patrons here as the UxLocale opens at 4pm. The menu changes weekly, and our party of four selected: * Warm Pecorino with Truffle Honey Cheese * Tuscan Shrimp Pappardelle * Tomato Carbonara Pappardelle * (2) 1.5" New York Strip Steak * Cannoli for Dessert Let's start with the steaks. In a word, delicious! Both were cooked perfectly medium rare, tender and juicy. Two sides are included, I got the Beet Salad (tasty and nicely dressed) and the potatoes with bacon which were awesome. A co-diner ordered the same dish but got the Caesar salad which he liked very much. We both agreed, a solid 5-star dinner at a reasonable $37 price. The shrimp plate looked beautiful and substantial. The diner loved it and ate every bite. The Tomato Carbonara Pappardelle was also tasty, albeit with strong pepper undertones. If you don't like a lot of pepper, you might try a different dish, or ask if the chefs can cut back on it. That said, I liked it and would be happy to order this. Most of the diners liked the Warm Pecorino with Truffle Honey Cheese Skillet (slices of Pecorino Romano cheese, warmed to a mild melt and drizzled with truffle-infused honey. The salty, sharp cheese and sweet, pungent honey are a classic pairing in Tuscan cuisine. Warmed and served on a cast-iron skillet). I liked it, one diner thought it was too salty, though that is the way it's described above. The dishes are all large, three of us brought home leftovers. We finished by sharing a cannoli dessert, which was excellent, crispy cannoli with a light and tasty filling. An outstanding dinner, with excellent services at a reasonable price (dinner for four with drinks was $209 before tip). A solid 5-stars on this visit. Note that they request tips be left in cash (for all of us who use little if any cash these days). There is a cash machine when you first enter.

Save room for the dessert station which had ooey gooey cinnamon rolls, cheesecake, cookies, mousse and so much more. Today they were offering a special Bloody Mary where we got the glass to take home. My husband couldn't resist! Waitstaff was attentive (thanks, Meagan!) and the environment was cozy but spacious. There is a good amount of parking even though it's on a small Main Street. The waitress was attentive to say that least. She actually kept coming over trying to get us to order even though we clearly were holding the menus reading them. After the 3rd time I let her know I have never been there so i needed more time. Unfortunately that did not follow into the rest of the experience. We got the app platter. It was ok. Everything was under seasoned. The marinara is sweet and tomato soup like. Mozz sticks were good. Potato skins which were actually sliced potatoes were decent. Pretzel sticks were fine. Cheese sauce was gritty. Chicken wings were ok. That's the word of the day ok and under seasoned. For mains we got chicken parm and famous Caesar chicken. The chicken was very well cooked but the sauce is the same marinara so it was only ok. For $22 I do think you could do better. The "famous" Caesar chicken was the same chicken but hot dressing and parm on top made it taste like fried fish with tartar sauce. I couldn't eat it at all but it is what it is stated to be. We got 2 sides with the Caesar and my friend chose Alfredo pasta and they counted that as the 2 sides and she added broccoli ($5 for plain steamed broccoli) the Alfredo was good. She got a soda as well that was never refilled. As a matter of fact we really didn't see our server again until she brought us a box for our food. Over all I would say this place is just missing the mark. It needs to season the food better. The servers need to leave people a minute to see the menu and then follow up throughout the meal. I think you should try it and make your own judgements but we won't be back.

She contacted them ahead of time to get more details (they didn't have a Yelp page yet) and they advised to park across the street at the package store (was it a package store? I think it used to be Lynch's drugstore years ago? I'm not positive anymore). We parked and crossed the street. We weren't quite sure where to go and stopped at the front screen door to ask. They told us to follow around the side of the building to the back. We stepped into their back patio and were quickly in a relaxed atmosphere. The patio was set up beautifully with plenty of tables, umbrellas and lots and lots of plants!!! They came out and helped us pick a nice shaded spot to enjoy our meal. We were offered menus and the woman who seems to be the originator of this 'idea' (her name is fittingly Holly), sat down with us and told us how this venture is all run by volunteers and all the money raised goes towards funding the town of Uxbridge's annual Christmas Parade. She also explained to us (along with her marine biologist daughter) how they are trying to be as environmentally conscious as they can be. All the paper products were recyclable as well as the disposable eating utensils. They also made an extra effort to get canned water as to cut back on plastic. My friend got the chicken pot pie and I got the pastrami sandwich. We were quite pleased with our selections. They have a regular everyday menu and specials everyday. They have limited hours of Tuesday thru Friday from 11-3 pm. Go check them out, you'll enjoy a delicious meal, help a great cause and get to relax on their cute patio!!
