This spot happens to be on my way home from the office and I'm glad I stopped in. Overall the place is small, with both table dining and bar seating. My friend and I chose to sit at the bar. Meaghan was our bartender. Friendly and informative, she really knew the menu. I got garlic teriyaki wings, my friend got a double order of plain and we shared a pepperoni, half black olive pizza. The wings were huge and juicy. The sauce was so good, and they did a great job of coating the wings in a way that they were well covered but the sauce wasn't dripping off. The pizza was better than average. I had heard it described as bar pie in the local pizza Facebook group but that isn't accurate. It's got the thickness of a Greek style pizza but not baked in a pan. The pizza sauce has a nice tang to it that I prefer. It very easy to eat. Initially I thought I would be taking some pizza home for lunch the next day but before I knew it, I had polished off the wings and 6/8 of the pizza. My only criticism of the pie is I'm a stickler for a proper half and half split and the olives were on a majority of the pie instead of only half. I finished with a Snicker inspired drink created by our bartender. It's butterscotch forward in flavor and is decidedly a dessert drink. It was a lovely sweet treat to finish the meal. What I love most about the Food Fight events is having the opportunity to discover small spots like this one. Having a place to hide away from traffic on the way home from work is clutch, so I will be back sooner rather than later. I'm looking forward to the next time I stop by!

These Tator tots that were on special with pulled pork were so good. But the biggest surprise was the cauliflower. Hands down THEE BEST fried cauliflower I've ever had in my life. Not soft and mushy but crispy great flavor and the sweet chili sauce was not over powering. The bartender was super friendly and gave us some recs as well. I would drive the hour again to this spot.

I can only imagine how much better it is when the zoo is open and you can see the animals! This restaurant is part of Southwick Zoo. The brunch is offered for a limited time, seasonally. From the breakfast staples like eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, to crème brulee French toast and waffle station, an omelet station, all of the bagels and breakfast breads, and lunch options from chicken & sausage marsala, mashed potatoes and even baked haddock... there was something for everyone. Save room for the dessert station which had ooey gooey cinnamon rolls, cheesecake, cookies, mousse and so much more. Today they were offering a special Bloody Mary where we got the glass to take home. My husband couldn't resist! Waitstaff was attentive (thanks, Meagan!) and the environment was cozy but spacious. We'll be back for lunch or dinner soon!

When we pulled in, I was a little skeptical -- we didn't realize it was directly next to the zoo and the parking lot didn't have a lot of cars.... With that said, everything was GREAT! We sat along the windows with a view of the petting zoo; it was so fun watching the goats run around!! We ordered artichoke dip and bbq wings as apps and they were delicious! I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and my boyfriend ordered the burger. Again, everything was great!! We would happily come back!

We loved our cozy corner table. Service was great and our drinks arrived quickly after we ordered. For food, we started with the pepperoni flatbread and the pretzels with queso & mustard. They were both very good and I especially liked the queso. Our entrees were steak tips, buffalo chicken risotto, penne with vodka sauce & grilled chicken, and steak tips with mashed potatoes and vegetables. They were all served nice and hot, the portions were a great size, and they were all delicious. We opted for dessert and got the carrot cake and a chocolate martini. Yum and Yum!!!! During our dinner, the manager visited each table to ask how things were going, which was a really nice touch. We're really glad we chose Ciro's. Everything was great and we hope to return soon!

Service was very good -- Jenny was an excellent server: attentive, friendly. The food overall was good. The fish & chips were a bit overcooked, but the rest of the meals at our table were very enjoyable. We were seated upstairs, which I highly recommend. The stained glass windows are beautiful and the space is much quieter than the main floor, making for a relaxed dining atmosphere. Great location if you're heading to the Stadium Theatre -- convenient and a nice way to start the evening.

Poor Food and Service…read more Like the people and the story, but that's where it stops. Liz's is good size spot cut into two sides. Bar with live music (paid cover to enter) and then the restaurant side with a 12 seater bar. Description done. Now, I don't want to be negative, but to start we sit at a hightop table and wait 15 minutes for anyone to come up to us. We order draft beers and they get to the table 10 minutes later. The place wasn't even busy. The beer was not cold and the draft lines must have been dirty because the beer was stanky. Not a good start. We order a couple of salads, steak tips and caesar. Now, let me tell you, the steak tips were not tips. Cutting a crappy steak up into chunks aren't steak tips. Awful. My wife got a simple caesar salad with chicken and it was wilted with chicken that looked like it was cut up into chicklet size pieces. It was came with ranch dressing. Forgot to add that these salads took another 45 minutes to arrive. Terrible. Once again my apologies but this was one of the worst dining and drinking experiences we have had in a while. Some many areas need improvement. If you don't have steak tips, you can't cut up an old sirloin into small chunks and then cook them well charging 25 dollars. Hard pass
