But I can't give you five stars if you're cooking food in the microwave and toaster behind the bar. You've got a full menu. This place is your local neighborhood pub with dive bar prices. Excellent food and drink specials. The owner is amazing, she goes out of her way to make sure your having a experience. My Friday Night Crew started coming here on a whim a few months ago and we haven't been back to our old place ever since. Friday & Saturday Nights is Karaoke with free pool on Saturdays... This is just a regular local bar. Nothing crazy about the place, its one of those types of bars you never hear about. its usually regulars that come here. but its always a good time with me and the boys. The owner Tina is super friendly and nice. Always treats me well whenever i come by. The drinks are priced very reasonably. A shot and a beer is about 6 bucks not to bad. They also have amazing pudding shots, that is definitely one of the main reasons i always come back. Try the Cinnamon bun pudding shot but honestly they are all good. they have different things going on every night. DJ, karaoke, etc. they also have dart boards and pool tables. Absolutely love the karaoke, there has been many MANY drunken nights singing karaoke and whats awesome about it is everyone there is about karaoke. My weekend go to place! The bartenders are so nice! Karaoke is fun! It's definitely a "locals" spot, but they're very welcoming! Definitely a dive bar, but in the best way. Frozen pudding shots are AMAZING, totally different that what you think, taste like alcoholic ice cream. Drinks are good and strong. Deceiving local bar looks rough on the outside with tiny windows & an entrance in the back but pleasant on the inside. My husband and I stayed in Woonsocket for one night to see a show at Chan's and stopped by Michael's after checking out the Museum of Work and Culture and doing a drive through of the town. Tina, who I now know from other Yelp reviews, is one of the owners and was bartending on this early Friday evening. We had a great time, learning about Woonsocket (the French Canadian influence is fascinating), drinking some local beers (my hub loves IPAs as we're are from San Diego), and Tina even bought me one of her homemade pudding shots (Snickers) which was amazing. We were treated like family, met some fun locals and had a great time. Free popcorn, clean bathrooms, pool, and bar stools with backs which I always enjoy. Watching a little late Friday afternoon "True Pawn" on the TV was even better! Had a really fun time there and can imagine it must be really fun at night. Did not have any food. Came in Friday night for a few drinks. The bartender was so nice. The place has pool, darts, and Karaoke every Thursday and Friday night. I've been looking forever for a place that does karaoke on the weekends. The drinks were good and very reasonably priced. We didn't know what to order, so the bartender just whipped us up a drink after talking to us for a few minutes. They have pudding shots, that according to a friend- are to die for. My wife and I were driving by and decided to stop in for a bite to eat and a drink. Big mistake. The menu is limited and the food was forgettable. Beer is pretty hard to screw up, so my drink was fine. My wife ordered a mixed drink which was mostly made up of ice and juice. The general appearance of the restaurant/bar area was run down and dirty. The bathroom was also dirty, which makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is. Location is not the safest of neighborhoods and parking is very limited. Big thumbs down for this place. Would not stop here again. read more
