Ciro's is great! The atmosphere feels like an English Pub, and it has a great bar. We were here for dinner and we've also enjoyed food and drinks outside on the lovely patio during warmer weather. We made a reservation and our party of four was seated immediately. We loved our cozy corner table. Service was great and our drinks arrived quickly after we ordered. For food, we started with the pepperoni flatbread and the pretzels with queso & mustard. They were both very good and I especially liked the queso. Our entrees were steak tips, buffalo chicken risotto, penne with vodka sauce & grilled chicken, and steak tips with mashed potatoes and vegetables. They were all served nice and hot, the portions were a great size, and they were all delicious. We opted for dessert and got the carrot cake and a chocolate martini. Yum and Yum!!!! During our dinner, the manager visited each table to ask how things were going, which was a really nice touch. We're really glad we chose Ciro's. Had dinner at Ciro Tavern in Woonsocket before a show at the Stadium Theatre and it was a great choice for a pre-show meal. Service was very good -- Jenny was an excellent server: attentive, friendly. The food overall was good. The fish & chips were a bit overcooked, but the rest of the meals at our table were very enjoyable. We were seated upstairs, which I highly recommend. The stained glass windows are beautiful and the space is much quieter than the main floor, making for a relaxed dining atmosphere. While both components were good on their own, the combination felt a little mismatched--interesting, but maybe not a perfect pairing. A standout appetizer was the Thai chicken nuggets--tender, peanutty, and just the right amount of spice. A great sharable option to kick off the meal. We sat on the first floor, where the ambiance leans dark and medieval with a kind of vintage, old-world charm. It's got a unique character that makes it memorable and cozy, especially on a chilly March night. The price point at Ciros is another plus--reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Before leaving, I peeked at their outdoor bar setup for the first time, and it's absolutely beautiful. We thought it would be really fancy inside and we're nervous when we showed up in our sweatpants, but everyone treated us with kindness and great service. We enjoyed the oyster special for one dollar each and $. 50 wings. There's a specialty hot honey sauce that went really well with blue cheese. The wedge salad was so big and delicious, we also got the pork nachos and noticed after we started receiving the food at the table that the portions were huge. The wedge salad was $11 and I thought that was a little more expensive than usual, but when we got the huge portion, it was clear why. We are definitely gonna be back again very soon. The parking is very easy and free. I ate here before a concert at the Stadium Theater. We were seated on time in the bar area at a high top, which was fine for us. I had the onion soup and the fish & chips and both were delicious. The menu is varied and I had a hard time choosing what I ultimately did so I would like to come back! A customer next to me ordered the lamb chops (that was my second choice) and he said they were delicious. Service was great up until the point where we needed our check, as the waiter went MIA for a good 15 minutes. We had to flag him down (once we saw him!) to pay the bill. Note: They do a terrible job with reservations. When you go to their website it allows you to fill out a contact form or email the owner of the restaurant. Do NOT do that as you won't hear back. You need to call and make sure you get someone live so they can make the reservation for you. They really need to take those other options off the website as it was confusing. read more

It was our first time visiting. I liked the vibe from the online pictures. We wanted to order a calamari appetizer first and dinners after. We were told they wouldn't do that because we needed to order everything at once. We asked if they could just make sure we got the appetizer before the meal. Again, we were told they couldn't guarantee it. Server left and a minute later a very large and imposing manager approached our table and loudly reprimanded us for not ordering everything at once. It was extremely embarrassing as the upstairs room was fairly quiet compared to the bar downstairs. Apparently, there is a small theater across the street, and when there's a show scheduled, the restaurant can not handle the crowd. We were never asked if we needed to eat quickly because of the show. We weren't even going to the show, just wanted a nice, relaxing dinner! The manager's condescending attitude ruined the entire meal. My husband ate but I had mine boxed to go because I had literally lost my appetite. My husband tried calling the restaurant twice asking to speak with the manager, but he was always too busy to take the call. Never again! Appalling lack of customer service and respect. read more

Based on how it looks on the outside, I was expecting a really fancy environment on the inside. However, it gave me more of a pub/medieval times feel and wasn't fancy afterall. I did enjoy the big door to get inside--it was cool. I came here on a weekday for dinner so I didn't need reservations and turns out they had trivia going on when I arrived. We were given the option of a booth or high table which was nice and we ultimately were able to get a corner booth which was super cozy. After looking at the menu and consulting with Yelp, I had three potential options I wanted to go with. I asked my waitress if it's possible to combine the penne alla vodka and top it with fried calamari instead of the other protein options and the answer was YES! Because of that flexibility I am giving my rating an additional star. My friend ordered the fish and chips. I would say the presentation of the food was nice. The portions are slightly on the bigger end; could probably make two servings depending on what you get. The fried calamari was good but it didn't have anything special, it was just fried. The paste was good, but it was missing some salt, however, the calamari paired with it helped distribute the flavor. The vodka sauce was more tomatoey than creamy, which I would've liked the other way around but nonetheless it was good. The fish from the other fish was crispy, tender, and flavorful and the chips were good but some were too crispy/brown. We had a really good waitress. She would come by at a good enough rate where we could enjoy our meal but not feel abandoned. There is a lot across from the place, I'm not sure if it belongs to there but that's where we parked. We sat outside, ordered 2 coronas , it took waitress 15 min to bring drinks, they were served warm and without lime, I asked for limes, never brought them, we ordered food at time she brought drinks, our food took over 40 minutes, when it came out we had no utensils, both our meals were cold! we never saw our waitress since she delivered our warm bears, and didn't see her until we waited for check. Went to the Stadium Theater for a show but stopped here first for a bite. Walked in and first greeted by I assume the hostess who asked do you have a reservation? Since their website is so odd that you have to email them for a reservation don't make one. Was told well you'll have to sit at the bar. No problem but could have been presented a little more politely. Bartender was great and attentive. Food was also good. We had the specials. Stuffed mushrooms to start, wife had bacon scallops over risotto and I had the braised short rib. All very good. Beer choices were many. Would go back but will try to make a reservation through that odd system they have. Get on Open Table to assist with easier reservations. I had last visited this restaurant a few years ago and remembered that is was excellent. Last night, I brought my Mom and her friend before we went to a show at the Stadium. It was such a disappointment. I ordered cashew crusted salmon that ended up being a piece of salmon with crushed cashews thrown on top. It was served with risotto(not bad) and with frozen veggie medley. My Mom got lobster ravioli with a sauce that was far too salty. I love salt and found it inedible. After a bit of drama and speaking to the manager and/or owner(never said who he was) we were comped the ravioli. My Mom's friend got parmesan chicken over penne in a soupy cream sauce. And this is NOT low price food. The waitress was lovely however. We will not be returning. read more

Everybody else in our party thoroughly enjoyed their meals, the atmosphere is terrific, and the service was stellar. We have been here numerous times in the past with no issues. However, sometimes it only takes one bad experienced to undo all of the good. Food was delivered ice cold which made it inedible. Cold food mixed with freezing cold air blowing on you the whole time at this one table upstairs assisted with the few warm plates becoming cold quickly. We had heat only twice for a period of five minutes while we sat for 1and 1/2 hours draped in coats and at one point gloves. Why is there no option to give zero stars? Because the service we received on Mothers Day 2025 was unacceptable, and there is no good reason to even give it one star. Reservation was at 1pm. Server who most definitely hated her life didn't acknowledge us until 30 min after we sat down. She was incredibly miserable. Took another 30 minutes to receive drinks. The drinks were meh. I ordered a strawberry margarita, and after 30 min of waiting for it, you would think the least the bartender could do was garnish it. Would it have killed them to do that? No. Mind you, during the entire duration of our stay, the server has not been apologetic once about the long wait times. We barely saw her. She didn't even think to say that they were clearly understaffed. It is now 2:30pm and we have yet to receive our food. We ended up walking out. Not only were we hangry, but we all were sunburnt from being in the direct sunlight for an hour and a half (no umbrella was provided). To top it all off, as we drove by the restaurant on our way out, the manager was outside on his PHONE!! This establishment is terrible. Being back as we do every year is pretty refreshing. Wonderful breezy New England summer weather are hard to beat these days. So for our first stop at Ciro's was a great pick the in-laws made. The establishment has a good amount of parking, the facade has this grand medieval entrance that you can't miss. With little to no wait I didn't have time to absorb all the history this unique building it has to offer. We were swiftly escorted to the gorgeous courtyard, it literally feels like your walking in a garden with a wide variety of lushes plants in and around the area. With a beautiful setting like this I was so skeptical with the food. So I went with the stuffies as an app and they were one of THEE BEST STUFFIES I've had. Please I urge you to checkout the pictures I took. I only took down 1 of them since I had to share but bet your ass next time I'm there I will order a lot more As for the entrée I went with the Steak and Cheese with sweet potato fries. I wasn't too crazy about the sandwich and usually prefer the standard cut fries. Sweet potato wedge fries aren't my thing but that wasn't a reason to complain or ask for something else. All in all Ciro's food and wait staff are awesome, there's a lot this place has to offer so I will be returning back sooner than later! read more

This was our 3rd time going to Ciro's before the Stadium Theater. While the service was great, food okay, it's the dishonestly that bothers me so I'll never, ever go back. We forgot our wallet there and did get it back but missing was $140. plus a card. They have cameras and offered to review them and took my name and phone number. Asked me to give them a few days to review. Few days later I call and am asked to call the next day. I call and again am asked to call the next day. Again and again. After a week and a half of me calling them and being asked to call the next day I understood their message that they were stringing me along. That bothers me the most. I'll never know if it was a customer or staff. They must know and maybe that's why they don't want it reported. I plan on filing a police report. read more

I've been here twice, I've gotten the bruschetta chicken and it was amazing and most recently the Parmesan encrusted chicken and I was so satisfied. It was exactly what I wanted. Was a nice Sunday weatherwise so figured eating outside would be the thing to do. Ciro's has a nice outdoor seating section that includes both a dining area and a bar area. The place is a clean and the waiter staff are terrific. Be advised that pets are allowed, which is fine however, a lot of barking dogs isn't exactly conducive to a relaxing afternoon appetizer, meal, and a couple drinks. The salmon dinner was good and the amount served was very adequate. The battered fish was quite a bit over battered and the actual fish was rather small. Ma's chicken wings are an awesome choice for an appetizer. Very tasty with a bit of spiciness and a hint of twang. They have a wide, deep, and good selection of cocktail beverages to choose from. Busy Saturday night here at Ciro's. Outdoor seating or air conditioned indoor seating with dark medieval theme. Its my first time here with a friend before a show at Stadium Theatre. The decor is something you either love it or hate it, I guess. My first guy was "it will be a great place for having beer with my buddies in the winter" but not in the summer. I prefer to sit at the outside tiki bar. My quick glance of the menu tells me that its mostly American meat and potatoes, few seafood selections and prices are reasonable. We did not have much time to sit and enjoy our food but managed to have a few drinks. The bar staff were very attentive and friendly. They sure know how to make you feel at home. I keep going back there to try to find a food item that isn't an A- or better and they have never disappointed. This place is never the wrong choice. My friend and I waited in a half empty restaurant 40 minutes for lunch. I ordered a blue cheese hamburger, and asked for it medium rare. It came well done, and it was very thin. Neither the waitress nor the manager asked us how our meals were. We had tickets to a nearby performance, so I ate some of my meal as we wouldn't have had time to have them make us something else. Ciros is amazing adventure like your going back in time. Have been there dozens of times and they do not disappoint. Went New Year's Eve for their once a year prime rib which was fantastic. I told the waitress they should have this every Saturday. The short rib is also delicious. Steak tips amazing also. Big piece of fish n chips. Chicken parm awesome. Service always with a smile.
