I went to order the spiked Mango Seltzer (not a flavor option you see often, I was happy to see this!), but then saw a bottle of lavender syrup next to where she was grabbing to mango and asked if I could get a lavender seltzer instead. I'm a bit of a lavender addict so whenever I see it, I NEED to get it. The bartender warned it could be a little light, but I went ahead with ordering it anyway. It was delicious! The color was light but the flavor was not. I was surprised to learn they have a full food menu here. I had already eaten but got to pick some yummy crispy fries from my friend's plate, and they were delicious. Lots of seasonal St. Patrick's Day options were available, which added a nice festive flair. Bathrooms were clean and easy to find, and I loved the "furry friends of Bravo" bulletin board with pet pictures to gaze at. I didn't get to visit for a super long time, but enjoyed the experience I did have.

Malty, easy to drink, had some good backbone. They carry other beer on tap that they don't brew as well, so you will have something you like, I'm sure. The chicken sandwich was pretty sad. My chicken was paper thin and it was very bland. Bun to meat ratio was off. No sauce or any kind of aioli to add some depth and moisture. Nonetheless, it's a good spot to hang with some friends if you have any that live in the area. You go and order at the bar and they will give you a number so it's a counter service spot.

CraftRoots is a 501(c)3 non-profit and each month they select a new local charity to support. How amazing is that?! AND the best part?! It really is GREAT craft beer and even greater people. The flight is the perfect way to mix and match to find your go to pint for the evening. The staff are funny, engaging, and super kind, and the owners are some of the most down to earth, kind hearted folks I've met. PS - the live music was AMAZING and they have board games you can play too! If you get hungry there's always a local food truck standing by! My recommendations? Ms. American Pie (with sugar rim!) and the Ode to The Cranberries!

There brews range from a lite lager, to NE style IPA's to a stout, something for all tastes. For food it varries, they do have snacks but the real food comes from food trucks so check the website to see who's serving it up on the day you're going, the taco truck seems to be a crowd favorite but it can vary. The setting is industrial garage, I like the look of the stainless steel vats that ferment the brews. The people who operate the place are very friendly and welcoming, the crowd can range from early 20 somethings to 60 somethings, dancing is encouraged. If you're a beer afficianado stop in for pint and make a new friend.

Unfortunately it was raining, but we got to hang out in a gigantic greenhouse with some of the most gorgeous floral and Fana I have seen in a very long time and I am from Florida The bartenders are super awesome! And friendly. They have lots of knowledge about the surrounding area and their beers. They have snacks that are actually really good on the regular. Their cider is a must try. They also have a plethora of fun games, including the pirate dice game. I am so glad this was my last stop on our vacation. Everybody, that being the locals, said that this was the one brewery that we had to go to. It's no wonder that most of the local restaurants that serve their beer it was that good. And did I mention how awesome the greenhouse was?

Overall the building has a barn-like quality and is clean and spacious inside. It was a seat yourself and order everything at the corner of the bar kind of place. You just need to know your table number so the runner knows where to deliver your food. Apparently all the cooler drinks (nonalcoholic) are the same price so we just told them we needed 3 and grabbed what we needed for the kids. Beers were decent and their logo is probably one of the coolest in the industry. The food was about as good as it gets at a brewpub. I had the beef on weck. Flavor was spot on, beef was a little overcooked and dry but the au jus was tasty and helped moisten the sandwich up a notch. The giant pretzel with beer cheese was pretty epic and definitely one of the highlights. The fries were also really palatable. My daughter made short work of her caesar salad and felt it was actually one of the better ones she's had. I see comments about how the staff here aren't that friendly and I don't really understand them. I mean, they didn't kiss our asses but they were professional, attentive and in constant motion. Not really sure what some yelpers are looking for at these types of establishments but I found them to be on par with most brewpubs I visit. I don't spend much time in Hopkington, but wouldn't hesitate to stop back in here if I'm up that way again!
