Autumn Ale-pumpkin beer with the rim
    Jay P.

A very deceiving hole in the wall brewery in Milford. Located in an industrial park this very open space inside is warm and inviting. They typically have either a band or trivia on most nights. Bartenders were patient as we looked over the choices. The Autumn Ale was a bold and tasty pumpkin beer and then the Never Marry A Murphy was a great red ale. They have rotating food trucks and the ones we saw were top notch trucks. A nice hidden gem in milford

CraftRoots Brewing has some delicious beers layered with flavor. I had the Aloha Blond Ale. A very fruit forward Ale. It is very good. My wife had the Hazy, Hop & Humid IPA also fruity and delicious. Both beers were very good. The service is great, very hoppy people there lol! The interior is fitting for a brewery. They have a small outdoor seating area and did have a food truck that smelled delicious.

New owners have made some improvements and expanded the seating! Went on a Saturday night with live music and it was busier than I've ever seen but the staff was able to keep up and they had a great variety of styles. Also like that they had cans to go now

Great local spot with outdoor seating, rotating food on the weekends, live band, and of course, great beer. We liked the FORCE OF NATURE NEIPA and HOLD ON A LITTLE LAGER. Good clean bathrooms - unisex, single room bathrooms. I think that they are dog-friendly as well!

We enjoyed our time there. The space is eclectic and comfortable- very spacious. Beers are tasty- although lacking much dimension. We did 2 flights which allowed us to try each of the 8 beers that were available. 2 stand outs with more complex tastes were Blood Orange IPA and the Autumn Ale.

THIS PLACE WAS "HOPPING" Giving this place 5 stars now because they have totally upped their game since last time I was here. Went here on a Friday night and they had both music AND food in addition to their fine selection of beer and corn hole. Order food delivered if you're ultra-hungry though, as it was light Jamaican patties on this particular night. I recommend checking their website for events and food as it's always changing.

This place is great! Wonderful atmosphere, amazing beers! The staff here knew their beers and had great recommendations. The owners were here and enjoying the atmosphere. We're very welcoming and introduced themselves to everyone. First time here on a Friday night... great live music, food truck and delicious beer. Highly recommend there craft brews, the Aloha is Hawaii in your mouth! A must try for beers and fun!

First time here after many attempts. Lots of room friendly atmosphere. Staff good natured. Music playing and ESPN on the screen. Good brew offering. I had the Hopstar IPA which was fine. Motorcycle parking - paved lot. BYOF welcome.

The space is very nicely finished with some attention to detail that you don't see in other breweries. We enjoyed our flight but nothing really jumped out at us. I liked the red rye particularly because it was NOT the hoppy IPA that you find so often these days. We would definitely stop by again if we are in the area (though we'll grab a pizza first.) Also, this brewery is owned an operated by a woman, which is a rarity in the beer world and worth supporting. She does a great job in creating an inviting space and making good beer to drink in it!

After moving out of Boston,…read moreI was looking for some local breweries to replace my favorites in the city, and am happy to say Vitamin Sea is helping fill the void. The brewery itself is spacious with lots of indoor and outdoor seating and your typical funky, industrial tap room feel. There's often really good food trucks, pop-up coffee stands, live music, trivia nights--you name it. You can also grab cans to-go, peruse their merch selection, and bring your pup along (at least if you're sitting outside, not sure about the tap room). Barrel House Z is also right nextdoor, so if you want to brewery hop a bit, that's an option too. The beers themself also don't disappoint. My husband and I are definitely hazy IPA people, and have found something we love each time we visit. If you're not into that though, your options are definitely more limited. They do always have at least one seltzer and mocktail on the menu if either of those are more your speed. Both the staff and patrons here are so nice, it definitely has a community feel to it. I'm quickly on my way to becoming a regular, and wouldn't have it any other way!

No matter, I can say for sure it was great! This one was refreshing, summery, citrusy, and while sweet, not overwhelmingly so. Something I would 10/10 get again, and need to get my tail end over here before it rotates out! I also have a light fascination with blue food - it seems like it shouldn't exist, but I digress. As for their other offerings, I feel that they have an okay selection. Some seltzers, stouts, sours, and non-alcoholic options were all available. However, the menu was also IPA heavy, and while I appreciate that I may be in the minority, I am not an IPA fan. Though, perhaps that may change in the future with Vitamin Sea's help. The staff have been nothing but kind and welcoming. While typical of places like this, the ability to try samples doesn't go unnoticed. Finally, the vibe is open, hip, and communal. There are lots of picnic style tables, and card/board game available to borrow. Thus, a terrific brewery to spend a weekend afternoon or evening at. The place is open to families and friend groups, and food trucks are here often. Lots to try and enjoy; especially for IPA lovers. Brewery fans will also appreciate another favorite: Barrel House Z throwing distance away.

And I also have the old fashioned. It was delicious. They made it with hard grapefruit seltzer that they brew themselves. It is very refreshing. I also tried the seasonal latte flight, a cider donut and the banana brûlée latte. I was very pleased with the peppermint mocha. It was minty but not overly so. The gingerbread latte was the best flavor. The cookie butter latte was good. And the vanilla cardamom was my least favorite. I would have liked more of the cardamom flavor. I like that you can try all the seasonal flavors but I would like it better if it was customizable instead of being preset. The service is pretty good. I think you can open a tab or you pay each time you order. There is no waitressing, so they call you up to the bar to get your order and you bring back your dishes to a corner of the counter. The bar/beer side was pretty slow service. I waited for a while to place my order but once I placed my order it wasn't too long before I received my drink.

It's located right at the entrance of an industrial area. There is a very small lot for parking but it was completely full when we visited today, so we parked along the road where a number of other cars were also parked. This seemed to be okay and the signs just requested folks not park on the grass. The entrance is set back from the street so you kind of need to go around towards the back. We saw they had a food truck, Farm to Sandwich, which although kind of pricey, was super delicious. We both got the All American Smash burger with fries. Fries were so crisp and well crafted and the burger was amazing with a great sauce reminiscent of a Big Mac. For beers, since it was our first time here, we decided to try a bit of everything with flights. Their flights are $13 for 4, 5 oz pours. I chose the Coffee Milk Stout, You are Such an Ass, Bienvenu and Justin's Jangle. We started which the You are Such an Ass IPA, which was described as a light IPA but really didn't taste like an IPA at all. We honestly thought they had poured us the wrong beer. As IPA enthusiasts, this was disappointing. The Bienvenu, which is a Red Ale with Panela (unrefined Colombian sugar cane) was infinitely better. The Coffee Milk Stout, I understand is very popular, but I thought this was average. Justin's Jangle, a Maple Praline Porter was my favorite! Really nice, complex brew! We also really enjoyed the live music from Jake Frezza, a local musician out of North Providence. He sang and played guitar and covered a diverse sampling of songs including Brittney Spears (Toxic), James Taylor and Marvin Gaye. His version of "What's Going On" was particularly excellent. I normally dread listening to live performers at breweries but this guy is actually very talented! Kudos to Ravenous for engaging such a high quality musician! Also, for a Saturday, it was not overcrowded or over run with kids. There was just one family with a super quiet baby and we noted just one dog inside. On exiting, I saw they have a nice memorial where they offer to pour a beer to a fallen service member. Very nice! Gender neutral restrooms Pinball Separate rooms make it quieter than breweries in just one big industrial space. Friendly service at the bar and no lines! Bar stools with no back, kind of uncomfortable and there seemed to be no other seating options like chairs or sofas. In summary: Highlights: Bienvenu Red Ale Justin's Jangle Jake Frezza live music Nice memorial to fallen soldiers Low Lights: You are Such an Ass IPA Barstools/ seating Would definitely stop back here again when in the area!
