On the recommendation of a friend, I went to brunch here over the weekend. An out of town guest said 'I don't need fancy, I need good food and a mimosa!' With that we ventured to Glen Pharmer. The day was freezing and I could only get reservation outside in the covered bridge which would have been adorable with the water bubbling down stream underfoot had the weather been better. We decided to saddle up at the bar rather than brave the elements. The decor is cool - industrial meets hipster meets country. Lots of wood and copper. There was a lone tv in the corner of the bar playing the NCAA women's lacrosse national championship which was a welcome change of pace from the showings at most sports bars. The bartender was very friendly and very quick to mix drinks. The downside is that they DO NOT serve any alcohol they don't make so the mimosas were out but we did find a cocktail we enjoyed with gin, lavender, honey and lemon. The Bloody Mary had great accompaniments but the tomato mix was a little lackluster. The food was well prepared. The huevos rancheros had a good variety of ingredients and the flavors were perfect together. The tortilla underneath was a bit difficult to cut through but once it got a little soggy from the egg yolk and beans it was easier to break up. The sunrise bowl was the perfect amount of veggies. Purple potatoes were a nice surprise along with a vast array of things like broccoli and zucchini. The Benedict with crab cakes was moist and had plenty of crab! It's a bit heavy so go for it if you're really hungry otherwise you probably can take it home. Food prices were reasonable for the portions given and the quality. Drinks are creative and well made but remember you're not getting mimosas at this joint!

It's actually a disservice to GP that's its taken me this long to write a review. GP is hands down our favorite place to go for date night. The cocktails are always amazing, the food is incredible-- unique but familiar? I'm not sure how they pull it off but we have never left feeling anything but satisfied. The first time we came I remember being blown away by just the bread and butter. Our favorite drinks : Purple Rain, Cranberry Smash, Smoked old fashioned & The Last Straw. Favorite foods: truffle fries , short rib bites, chicken tikka pizza (d/c) , & ciopinno. Whether you're a local, or just visiting the south shore / foxborough area.. this is a place you will want to visit for craft cocktails and delicious food.

We came here as a group after a Soccer game. During a tournament, the place was a little more upscale than we were dressed for after coming from our game, but it was very nice. Nonetheless, they have their own distillery, and they offer flights to test and sample. They had a very good food list with lots of different options. Plenty of appetizers and everything came out pretty quickly considering the size of our group. The server was absolutely on top of her game. She definitely made menu suggestions as we had questions to some of the items that we hadn't seen before. We have a one of their own distilled. Vodka is infused with espresso and vanilla, which was extremely delicious. And we actually got a bottle or 2 to bring home with us.

I don't have a whole lot of negative to say about GlenPharmer, so let's start with the negative. They don't sell their Irish cream. You can only get it there. It's really good. This makes me sad. I stumbled upon this place. I didn't find it on yelp. I just happened to drive by and was like this looks bougie and up my alley and I made a friend meet me there and I have been back several times since and I have never been disappointed. I also spent $300 on alcohol to bring home and all of it is exceptional. I don't even like vodka, but the flavored vodka are spot on the pineapple taste like pineapple juice. I'm gonna mix it in the summer with some chilled Polar Coconut Limeade Seltzer and I'm super excited about that for my future. I'm having a holiday party mid January, and there will be espresso martinis made from their Bean and I'll be making cider with their bourbon. The service is super friendly. The food is phenomenal, the cocktails are well done, and the space is very comfortable to be in. Go here and give them your money because I want them to stay in business so I can also continue to go and give them mine . Five stars. No notes. Well except maybe find a way to sell me some Irish cream to bring home. Even if you expire it. Even if it's only good for two weeks let me take it home refrigerated. :) OK, actually I do have one other note but it's not a complaint. It's just a note, some kind of fire element would be really cool. Probably too late to build a fireplace, but like a fire pit that you could drink cocktails by would be awesome. Don't do it for me though because I'm gonna be making cocktails with your alcohol in front of my own fire pit.

I mean, it was alright. The atmosphere was nice on a Saturday night. It's a bit noisy but it's expected. You get an older crowd that looks like they just finished golfing. The food was just okay. We had a Caesar salad with no meat, margarita flat bread, octopus something (this was the most disappointing due to texture), chicken and waffles, and cocktails (the roast and toast and some berry cocktail) Would we come back? Mmmm maybe. But it wouldn't be our go to place distillery.

underbrowned and under seasoned chicken sandwich. C- at best.

Overpriced and mediocre food. Everything was bland, the fried chicken was pale, and flaccid. Drink pairings didn't improve food or vice versa. Stuffy atmosphere. Skip it.

Great desserts, OK entrees, and for me, competent, yet not cravable cocktails. I really wish more had hit the mark because the charming outdoor seating ambiance and on-premises distillery promised so much more. Pluses: Our server introduced us to Charlie, the resident mixologist. My chemistry PhD friend, whose birthday we celebrated, chatted him up for almost 20 minutes. My cup of clam chowder was briny, smooth, and creamy; my friends said their fried chicken sandwich was buttery, crispy, and salty in all the best ways. I loved the key lime tart, which delivered on its name, and the sticky toffee pudding was a triumph of textures. Minuses: My cod special had just plain underseasoned potatoes, and the cod had not been seasoned before it was crisped. Both of my cocktails were less than they could've been: the peach bourbon smash was not nearly fruity enough to smooth out the bourbon, and the smoked old fashioned not sweet-forward. If you want a good-enough dinner, GlenPharmer would be on the list.

This is the dry hamburger ....

Firstly I'd like to say I had high hopes for this place. Food was subpar. We ordered octopus and it was overcooked and they didn't clean it that great. This is one of my all time favorite dishes to order. It was sloppy presentation. Had so many ingredients but couldn't taste anything specific. We also had two different dishes of their salmon and they asked if we wanted it medium rare, which we agreed, it also came overcooked and unfortunately well done, it was so dry. We ordered a burger to take home and asked for medium and it was so dry and burnt , my son took two bites and said it was like a hockey puck. Waste of nearly $300 dinner. Won't recommend this place at all. But on a positive note the espresso martini was the best part of our evening. I say if you're only going for drinks.... Perhaps. Otherwise, MAJOR let down

Awesome spot! Been on my list for a bit. Made a resi for seating on the covered bridge. Such a great ambiance. Food was great-we ordered Bao Buns, Short Rib Bites, Calamari, Octopus, Pharmer Flatbread, Sticky Pudding and Key Lime Tart. So delicious and great service.

The food was delicious and a nice twist on what you would expect. The drinks really stole the show, of course. They had a great combination of spicy options and sour options. The bourbon lover in the group wasn't wild over them, though. But for those of us who were just casual sippers, it was a perfect night out. We originally have reservations for outdoors because that was all that was available and luckily they did move us inside because I'm pretty sure we would've frozen our butts off. We did see one lone table out there underneath the heaters, but they didn't stay very long, so I'm guessing that they were not super comfortable out there in November.

Upon entrance is a doorman who is so friendly and accommodating! He found us an open table and checked on us throughout the night. The place was packed and they only had maybe 5 or 6 employees so the service was a little slow but understandable. I think the longest wait was about 20 minutes when we were waiting to get our initial drink order taken, but everything after that was fairly quick. For drinks I got a thin mint martini because they were out of the chocolate reuge martini I wanted. It was so yummy and came with 3 thin mint cookies. My mom got a pistachio martini and the Jefferson Tea. Both were pretty good but I wouldn't order again. My dad got Dead Mans Redemption which is good if you like bourbon. It comes with a wood topper and they light it on fire, let smoke fill in the drink, and then take the wood off. The drink then has notes of smoked wood in it which is cool. For food we got the crispy spring rolls and pepperoni flatbread. Both were so good!!!! It was absolutely worth the wait!!! I could eat the whole flatbread myself it was that good and I can't wait to go back and get another one. The crowd is definitely much older, not a lot of younger people around. It's a good date night for married couples. Overall it was a nice place and I would come back.

I am usually a vodka martini girl but this gin martini is just SO good. They got new martini glasses since the last time I ordered this drink and I'm obsessed with the new presentation. My martini arrived in a tall narrow martini glass and the "extra" was served in a chilled mini carafe. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WHEN RESTAURANTS DO THIS. It makes the drink feel a little bit fancier and helps keep the drink fresh. It also makes you feel as though you are getting two drinks for the price of one . We sat at the bar per usual and shared the half nachos (+ candied jalapeños and chicken). We love the way their nachos are served and honestly the portions are huge and very generous. We couldn't even finish the half nachos between the two of us! The nachos are always LOADED and have such unique flavors. My favorite cocktails at Bourbon's are: Saturn (not currently on the menu but they are typically still able to make it), Clear Intentions (clarified Mai Thai with the most incredible flavor profile) and Freezer Door Martini. 10/10 recommend all 3 of these but honestly you can't go wrong with any of their cocktails.

The sweet, smoky flavor, mustardy goodness isn't something I've found done as well anywhere else. And the fish itself was cooked perfectly. They paired the fish with the heartiness of the harvest grain side dish you see pictured. It was a huge serving, and I ate the whole thing because it was amaaaazing. My waitress was lovely and efficient, and I also didn't feel rushed. What made it a four star experience rather than 5 stars for me was the ambiance. The music was horrible--like 1980's big hair band type music. It was such a bizarre contrast to the rest of the upscale ambiance, which looked & felt more like a steakhouse. To my chagrin, it wasn't just one "off" song either...the awful selections kept coming throughout the meal. The music gave it more of a dive bar vibe, and it was so completely offputting that I left sooner than I otherwise would have. It honestly gives me pause when I think about coming again. And that's a real shame because I'd like to bring others here to share the amazing eats. I may try it again on another day. But if the music is the same, I'll be walking right back out the door.
