I came here tonight with 14 of my family members to have dinner for a going away party. We sat outside which was beautiful. It almost makes you feel like you're on a tropical island. What would have made the overall experience 10 times better was if they had outdoor music, especially on a Friday and Saturday night. Our waitress was very friendly and very attentive and did a great job with all of our needs wants and asks. No fault of hers, but when dinner got delivered, we were missing one tray. And the filet mignon was extremely undercooked so we had to send it back. My mom and stepdad ordered the burger, which was extremely messy and also undercooked. I ordered the pink vodka, chicken sandwich with no bread which came out as a huge portion, and the whipped ricotta and pesto was amazing. We started off with an appetizer of steak and cheese eggrolls, which were also amazing and came out fresh crispy and hot. The bathrooms were a three out of five stars as they could've been a little cleaner however there was a cleaner walking in when I was walking out. There are multiple outdoor bars and again the setting is super romantic and the outdoor bars look like they could be a good time if I was to go back with friends. There is plenty of our street parking and everything was extremely handicap accessible as my 92-year-old Meme was with us and is in a wheelchair. My daughter asked to see the dessert menu and didn't realize this was the type of restaurant that brings you over a tray of all the premade desserts for you to pick from. There was a very large selection of desserts for all types of taste buds. I will say that going with a large group of people didn't allow to have the full experience so I would definitely be interested in going back with a couple of friends to sit at the bars outside before the summer is over.

Port. Clams

We got takeout. The clams are packaged well. The Aaron Cheney was swimming in tomato sauce so by the time it arrived, they were a soggy mess. I would definitely get the claims again. They were delicious in a very generous portion.

My partner and I had a late evening appointment tonight and we decided to stop here after. I made a reservation but we didn't need to as it definitely wasn't busy. Our waitress was Margarita and she was attentive but not overwhelming and took excellent care of us. I was very impressed by her service. We noticed that they had $60 meal deals on Thursdays and it had some impressive options- 1 app, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts. We had the zucchini fries for an app. They were cooked well and I enjoyed them. Then we ordered the sole piccata and shrimp Alfredo. He liked his sole. I thought the shrimp Alfredo was just okay. The sauce was standard and there were only four shrimp, but I will say they were quite large. I'd have preferred if they had taken off the tails though. For dessert I had the peanut butter explosion which was nice. Very decadent but still tasty. My only critique is that they served it with cool whip instead of whipped cream. Odd choice for a higher end restaurant. My partner ordered the lemon bar but the chocolate torte came out instead. We aren't people that would send food back so he ate the torte- however Margarita noticed and gave us a lemon bar to go on the house for the mistake. It wasn't necessary but very appreciated! Overall I definitely recommend the Coachman's Lodge. It's a beautiful restaurant with a great ambiance and while the food isn't perfect the staff and setting make up for it!

Saturday night dinner at Coachmen's! We love it here. Tonight wasn't as good as usual but still great! Our server was there on her first night and she did great! The bar was super slow, but it was ok. The food was all great but a tad slow and not super hot. The flavor was great! We sat in the bar and I love the upscale casual vibe! I'm excited to come try their dinner for two menu on Thursday! Oh and the bread is yummy with the cinnamon butter!

Went for a drink and dinner in the bar area and it was a great spot! Bar tenders were great. Menu has a little bit of everything. Haven't been here for an event but have heard great things about it and it didn't from just a causal night out perspective

Do they have brunch?

I think so on Sundays, but it would be safe to call them to check. If they do it will be great!

We originally decided to come here because we saw someone's post on social media about a tomahawk…read morespecial they had gotten here. Unfortunately, they weren't offering it when we went, but that was honestly on us for not calling ahead and double-checking since the post we saw was a little older. First off, I HIGHLY recommend making a reservation here because this place is insanely busy! We actually got really lucky. I called and they were able to squeeze us in because when I looked online, the only reservations available were much later in the evening, and with a toddler that just doesn't work for us. We were seated pretty quickly and didn't have much of a wait at all. The lobby and decor are beautiful. I loved all the meats in the refrigerators and the fresh vegetables on display. It really gives you that authentic Italian restaurant feel. Our waitress was also absolutely lovely. She was so accommodating, polite, made sure we had everything we needed, and was great with our toddler. Now the food... I ordered a red sangria and when I tell you this was probably one of the best red sangrias I've ever had, I am NOT exaggerating. It was made perfectly. If I didn't have my toddler with me, I probably would have had a few of them They bring out two different types of bread, which I thought was such a nice touch. One was more of a garlic/focaccia-style bread and the other was a warm Italian bread that tasted like it had just come out of the oven. I personally preferred the warm Italian bread. Their olive oil dipping mixture was also delicious. And the fact that they give you TWO different breads for free is just amazing. My husband ordered the veal Parm with pink vodka sauce and I ordered the chicken Parm. I had to try his sauce and WOW. Their pink vodka sauce is SO good. Not every restaurant gets pink vodka sauce right, and I've definitely had some that were awful but this place has it down pat. Seriously, so good. The chicken Parm was really good too. I loved their sauce, and the chicken was nice and thin, which I prefer. I personally like my chicken Parm a little crispier, but it was still really, really good. Based on everything we tried, I would definitely recommend the veal Parm. Honestly, everything coming out to the other tables looked amazing, so there are definitely a lot of things I want to try next time. I might get something different instead of the chicken Parm just because there are so many things that looked good. My husband also had the apple tart which he enjoyed. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back. Next time I'm calling ahead about that tomahawk though!

We enjoyed looking at the murals and the photos on the walls. Our waitress, Donna, was fantastic and very attentive. She brought us sourdough, another type of bread and an oil mixture when we were first seated. They had about ten dinner specials the night we were there, all sounded good. I ended up sticking to the regular menu and ordered pollo alla scarpariello. It was very tasty and huge. I brought at least half home with me to eat the next day. My husband ordered the halibut special. He said it was really delicious. My son ordered the bolognese, which he ate but didn't care for the creaminess of it. One thing I will note is that I wish they had a better selection of wines by the glass. They had a great list of bottles of wines including some super Tuscans , which I love. The wines by the glass list was lacking though. I was the only one at the table drinking wine so I wasn't going to order a bottle. Overall a great experience and we are looking forward to returning.

There was no valet service, and the parking lot was already full, but we found a street parking spot very close to the restaurant. We were seated immediately at a window table overlooking the pond, one of Alicante's nicest features. We've dined here many times over the years, although our last visit was disappointing due to sluggish service. Fortunately, this evening proved to be a return to form. Ice water, wine, and warm bread arrived almost immediately as our attentive three-person service team got us settled. While the evening specials were tempting, we opted for two longtime favorites from the regular menu: Piccata di Pollo - $27 Shrimp Scampi - $29 Total with wine and tax: $84.53 Our entrées arrived promptly, hot, and beautifully prepared. The chicken piccata was exceptionally tender, complemented by a bright, flavorful lemon-butter sauce. The shrimp scampi featured perfectly cooked shrimp in a classic butter and garlic sauce that was well-balanced and not over-seasoned. As always, the portions were generous--enough that some of the chicken accompanied us home. After one less-than-memorable visit, it was nice to see Alicante back at the top of its game. Excellent food, attentive service, and a beautiful setting make this a restaurant we look forward to visiting again. Tip: Even though Alicante is on Route 16, you can park along the road. Think homemade pastas, stellar service, and a large menu of traditional Italian favorites all wrapped up in a cozy neighborhood atmosphere. We stopped by for the first seating of the evening on a Saturday with a large group. There was something for everything on the craft cocktail and wine menus. Our table sampled quite a few different martinis, and it was a nice surprise that even some of the fruitier options were well balanced and not tooooo sweet. (The pear and cucumber martinis were some of our favorites). They had a ton of specials for the night in addition to the regular menu, which made picking just a few appetizers and one entree each a challenge for most of us. Even the complimentary bread basket here deserves a shoutout: the housemade cornbread and focaccia were both 10/10. A few of the favorites from our table's selections were the escargot and calamari appetizers, both the eggplant and chicken parms, and the lobster and shrimp ravioli. Lobster ravioli is one of my favorite dishes of all time, and it's all over the greater Boston area. I have to say Basil's rivals any I've had before---the lobster cream sauce is to die for, I haven't stopped thinking about it since!! Our waitress was so kind and accommodating to our groups' many questions and substitutions. Overall it was an easy 5-star experience, can't wait to come back!

The portions are good and the prices are reasonable compared to other places in the area. They still give a salad or soup with many of the dinners, and serve nice Italian bread with butter and olive oil. If your try this place and like what you got, chances are very good you will like it the next time because they are consistent. The only thing that occasionally varied is the steak tips. I chalk this up to being hard to determine in the kitchen, because until you cut into the steak, you may not know if it contains a lot of fat and nerve. All the waitresses are awesome. For example, on our recent visit there was a man with 4 small kids by himself. One of the children, who was very young, was really loud. The guy was trying to do what he could to keep the noise under control. I watched what was going on, and the waitress for the table (Dee who is absolutely awesome), another waitress, and even the woman who greet you and assigns a table all were going over and being nice and trying to help the guy out. That is really awesome and something I have never seen anywhere. To The Rome owners, management, and staff: Please keep doing things right. On a Saturday around 6:30pm we were able to be seated immediately. Our server promptly brought over water and answered any questions we had on the extensive drink menu. Everyone was happy with their drinks, including my mom who got the wine "tasting". For appetizers we ordered the bruschetta (garlicky and delicious), and the scallops which were in one of the best sauces I have ever tasted. The food continued to exceed expectations with dinner- I had the tortellini of which I ate every bite, my husband had the veal Marsala which also had a nice sauce, and my parents both had the lemon shrimp which they raved about. The only room for improvement I could have seen was a little more promptness once we were given the bill (by that point we were stuffed and ready to lay down haha), and quicker drinks (even with the restaurant being half full, drinks still took upwards of 10 minutes). We will definitely be returning to Vilorio's and are excited to try their sister restaurant next door.
