    Chicken parmigiana?? Haha
    Gloria P.

I've ordered from this place before but gravely disappointed at how the quality of food went down. I ordered a chicken parmigiana sub and requested extra sauce on the side. We live 30 minutes away and my husband picked this up on his way home for work. I opened the bag to discover what appears to be chicken fingers tossed on sub bread with no sauce at all on it and a melted piece of cheese on the bread. Horrible example of a chicken parmigiana sub! Come on , Hideway you can do better than this , really ?!?

Two stars because the service was friendly. First pizza in 6 months because I live overseas, and I was sooo disappointed. I think I paid $20 bucks for a Costco pizza. Too much cheese and way too bready. Not my bag baby.

Never again. I called and ordered a cheese quesadilla. I was confused when it arrived with bacon and tomatoes. I called back and spoke to the owner. He is one of the rudest, most defensive people I have ever met, and I literally work with sociopaths. This man scolded me like a small child and told me I'm an idiot for not knowing their cheese quesadilla comes with bacon and tomato. He used his KEVIN voice to tell me I'm an idiot for my mistake because "cheese pizza comes with sauce not just cheese." He then told me I had to come to the restaurant for him to make me a new quesadilla. I opted for option 2, which was me returning that monstrosity and getting my money back. The "owner" hasn't been doing a good job at running this place. It's been going downhill for the last year or so. Every time we order SOMETHING gets screwed up. They don't have most of the things on the menu-- something the owner told me he wrote himself... TEN YEARS AGO. Time for an update, and sir, your menu is messy; you couldn't be bothered to spell out some of the words and used abbreviations instead. You sure know how to declass your place of business. So to the employees: I know you all try, most of the time, and that's appreciated. I'm sorry your boss is who he is. And sir, your customer service skills are subpar. I did not deserve to be treated like that, you should be ashamed of yourself. Side note: who the heck puts bacon bits and tomato pieces on a CHEESE quesadilla anyway?

highly disappointed, the skimpiest toppings i have ever seen, save your $ on the toppings just get a cheese pizza instead it's pretty much the same thing, see photo attached this is suppose to be mushroom & green peppers 3 tiny mushroom pieces and a couple peppers as thin as a loose thread, maybe the regular pizza maker was out to lunch. This review is based on my first visit, service, food quality and value. I received a welcome letter from Hide-A-Way Pizza with a $10 coupon, so I took advantage. Called on a Thursday evening and ordered two small pizzas and 16 bone-in wings for pick up. The lady that took my order was friendly and helpful with my questions. Arrived at the restaurant 35 minutes later and my order was ready. The place was busy with other pick up customers and phone was constantly busy with orders. The wings were tossed in hot sauce, slightly crispy and no batter which is how bone-in wings should be prepared. One pizza was cheese, sausage and garlic. The other was White pizza with grilled chicken. Both were very good. Ingredients tasted fresh and pizza dough was not frozen.

Really disliked the pizza. May be a matter of personal preference, but dough was too thick and raw-like. I don't like a cakey pizza. The cheese was flavorless, just like the sauce. Just, no thank you.

Little darker then normal on top but the rest of it is typically how dark they are.

Four of us splitting them so one whipped feta cheese dip wasn't enough but we ordered another. My friend got the chicken parm which she really liked with the pesto pasta underneath. While a few of us split some pizzas. We got a large half and half of buffalo chicken and the primo pepperoni pizza. Then we wanted to try the sweet ricotta and vodka pizza special so we got a small. The special was so good!!!!!! Plus the other two are our favs so we knew they'd be good. Crust is yummy too. We also split the raspberry chocolate cake which was delicious. The inside of the restaurant definitely has a cool vibe and was a nice size. I do recommend making a reservation online in advance. Both left me feeling disappointed (and I am not a picky pizza person, trust me).

I've eaten here 3 times now and each time I thought it was really good. It's certainly good enough to warrant its own page on Yelp :) There's no dining room, but you can take your food to the outdoor bar and enjoy it there. The pizza crust isn't like anything else in this area and reminds me of the old Twins where the cheese and sauce go right to the end without that 1/2" of plain dough edge. The large pies are square and the small pies are round but have identical crust and flavor. The pepperoni is cooked to absolute perfection complete with cupping and charring if that's your thing; and it certainly is mine. The chicken parm is adequately portioned/meaty and the fries are decent although I prefer some skins on mine. I can't speak to the fried clams etc because I don't eat that stuff, but my understanding is that it's the same as what Lindy's serves. I'm not sure if it's always the same person that answers the phone and retrieves your order, but I've had the same one all three times and she is friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. To me there's nothing worse than calling a place that does only takeout and the person on the other end being cold and unreceptive. Every now and then I might crave a neopolitan or Greek pie and will patronize another spot, but this is definitely our new go-to joint for pizza in this area!

It was takeout, so I always take that to consideration but I can't imagine that this pizza would have been mind blowing even if it was right out of the oven. The cheese was chewy and greasy, and the sauce had no flavor. The wings were ok but they were slightly overdone and a little greasy too.
