Went to the Southwick Zoo and needed someplace different to eat. First of all, this place is IN a tavern/bar. My friend and I actually drove by it. Parking out front is challenging with it being on a dimly lit main drag. I realized afterward why folks parked up on curb. The doors are a bit confusing as they also have a hall. There is a back parking lot... I have no clue how to access it. Up top, on the left is where folks congregated around the dimly lit bar, drinking and watching the Celtics lose (boo!) The window for the pizzeria is to the far right. We were warmly greeted as we perused the menu. After settling on the white garlic pizza (large) and a teriyaki chicken wrap with fries, we went to sit at a table near the bar to await our food. While we were waiting, one of the regulars (I'm guessing as they all knew her) came up to us and started a nice conversation. She even brought us our drinks. Our food came out piping hot. The pizza was a bit greasy due to the amount of white garlic sauce... and it was good! The chicken teriyaki was loaded with meat and veggies. The fries were perfect... so crispy on the outside and hot potato on the inside. Btw-I love local "dive" bars. The ambiance and friendliness of folks are amazing.

Mill Tavern is our favorite restaurant for pizza delivery. They are quick and the pizzas are delicious. Our favorite is a pepperoni and sausage pizza. Occasionally a white pizza with grilled chicken is a a good choice

Was looking for a new pizza place, the one I normally go to has been inconsistent in quality, and not so good. The ratings for this place were good and the pizza in the photos looked great. I was definitely skeptical, and rolled the dice. I was not disappointed. This is not only BY FAR the best pizza in the area (south of Boston, north of Providence), it's some of the best pizza I've had (ANYWHERE!). Good crust, good cheese, good sauce and a perfect balance of all. If I HAD TO compare it to any other Pizza, I would say it reminds me of Pizzeria Regina in Boston. Pizza in the Woonsocket/Cumberland area is a lot of "just ok" but nothing amazing. This was worth the little extra driving to pick up. AND they have something that no pizza places offer anymore: a pepperoni lovers pizza! It's called the Pepperoni Feast Pizza, and it's amazing. Just picking it up it's heavy. They do not skimp on meat or cheese. This place is awesome, low key tucked into half of a pub. Just a little pick up window and maybe a few tables. The staff were friendly and prompt. Highly recommend.

If you go there, don't judge a book by its cover... this place is a gem and these guys know how to make pizza! They share a location with the "Pot Belly Pub". A unique setup, and only slightly different from another business in N. Smithfield, but this setup really works! One side takes care of beverages, and the other side handles the food! Win win! Their crust is one of the best in the area, no one leaves the crust like those other pizza places! The toppings are just as good! I can't say enough good things about these guys, I know they've had some poor reviews on here, and I can only give them a glowing review on their pizza! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

It was a spur of the moment decision to check this place out. Don't regret it one bit. Trying to pick something and decided on the Steak Bomb Pizza with Banana Peppers. The crust was thick and fluffy. The steak was perfectly cooked. Just enough banana peppers to let you know that they're there. The place is part of a dive bar. The food was just delicious. Can't wait to go back and try something else.

We ordered from Mill Tavern tonight based on a Facebook recommendation. Wow! Well worth the drive from Northbridge! My boyfriend came out carrying the pizza and remarked on how heavy it was. The potato skins were phenomenal! The pizza was fantastic! The dough was thicker than most and nit greasy at all. Nobody even left their crust behind! Underneath the pizza, there was virtually no grease. We will be back!

Small cheese pizza. Not bad but I've had better at many other places.

Just found my new favorite local spot LJ's…read more It's one of those rare places that feels like a hidden gem right in the middle of the city. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, but there's always something going on, live music, karaoke nights, and even fundraisers that really bring the community together. The food absolutely delivers. The pizza is on point (perfect crust, great flavor), and the smashburgers are next-level. Juicy, crispy edges, everything you want in a burger. It's the kind of place where you can grab a casual dinner, hang out with friends, and end up staying way longer than you planned because the atmosphere is just that good. If you're looking for great food and a spot that actually feels like part of the community, LJ's is definitely worth checking out.

When you walk up to the door, the place seems small. Like a hole in the wall. Inside is anything but. Colorful murals, custom skateboard decks and modern art adorn the walls. Bright pops of color in between the TVs playing a variety of news and sports at the bar My friend and I were there for one thing: the 10" pub style pizza. I wasn't sure what style of pub/bar/tavern pie it would be but I was eager to find out. Our bartender was super friendly and quickly put in our order. We got two pizzas. One standard pepperoni and the other Chicken + Pickle. The pizzas came out ripping hot and smelling heavenly. The crust of these pies is more akin to a pan style pizza than what I would think of as a bar or tavern pie. It had that buttery crisp that reminds me of old school Pizza Hut (and I mean that complementary!). The sauce was a solid supporting character, the real star are the cheese and toppings here. It tastes and stretches like they use a blend of cheddar and mozzarella. The pepperoni was cooked to perfection. The cups pooling with oil and so crunchy. The chicken was quite tender and most on the other pizza, and the dill pickle taste was in full force, exactly as I was hoping! While I was hoping to find something like South Shore Bar Pie, what I did find was an awesome pub pan pizza in a spot that I've passed 100s of times. I'm glad I stopped in and I'll definitely be back. That pepperoni could not have been cooked any better

I was in for the adventure!!! She contacted them ahead of time to get more details (they didn't have a Yelp page yet) and they advised to park across the street at the package store (was it a package store? I think it used to be Lynch's drugstore years ago? I'm not positive anymore). We parked and crossed the street. We weren't quite sure where to go and stopped at the front screen door to ask. They told us to follow around the side of the building to the back. We stepped into their back patio and were quickly in a relaxed atmosphere. The patio was set up beautifully with plenty of tables, umbrellas and lots and lots of plants!!! They came out and helped us pick a nice shaded spot to enjoy our meal. We were offered menus and the woman who seems to be the originator of this 'idea' (her name is fittingly Holly), sat down with us and told us how this venture is all run by volunteers and all the money raised goes towards funding the town of Uxbridge's annual Christmas Parade. She also explained to us (along with her marine biologist daughter) how they are trying to be as environmentally conscious as they can be. All the paper products were recyclable as well as the disposable eating utensils. They also made an extra effort to get canned water as to cut back on plastic. My friend got the chicken pot pie and I got the pastrami sandwich. We were quite pleased with our selections. They have a regular everyday menu and specials everyday. They have limited hours of Tuesday thru Friday from 11-3 pm. Go check them out, you'll enjoy a delicious meal, help a great cause and get to relax on their cute patio!!

Their food truck operates sporadically, typically once a week depending on the season, and the menu is usually limited. That said, everything we've tried has been consistently excellent. Check their website to see where they'll be next. We caught them at the Stanley Woolen Mill parking lot and ordered: Lobster Roll (Original Size) - $20.95 Harvest Turkey Sandwich - $13.75 Mashed Potatoes with Gravy - $2.50 "Call Tag: F Troop" Total with tip: $43.78 Once you place your order, you get a fun retro call tag. Ours was F Troop, while others got classics like The Brady Bunch. The soundtrack? The theme from The Monkees. Nice touch. About 10 minutes later, our order was up. The "original" lobster roll may be their smaller option, but it's still generously sized--served in a classic New England split-top bun and packed with lobster. Fresh, simple, and done right. Then there's the Harvest Turkey Sandwich--labeled "The BIG-ONE" for good reason. It weighs in at well over 1¼ pounds and lives up to the name. It's massive. Adding the mashed potatoes and gravy turned the second half of that sandwich into dinner later on, which worked out perfectly. Bottom line: Yummies Drive-Up is, in fact, very yummy. Tip: To reduce wait time, call or text your order in the morning. Skip the online form--texting is the way to go.
