I got the wings bone in with sweet chili and garlic buffalo. Really nice cook on the wings, but the garlic buffalo is way more garlic than one would presume so I just took them home and put more buffalo on them and that balanced them out really well. They have really good ranch. They also serve blue cheese. They do celery and carrots. I also got my husband some to go wings that they serve by the half pound when they're boneless and so he got a pound and a half and so every half pound you get a sauce option so he got three different sauces and he got the garlic buffalo also another one I can't think of right now and then he got this balsamic fig! It was the most interesting experience I've probably ever had on a piece of chicken was very, very good. There's street parking I don't think they have a parking lot but it's a small space. Honestly they probably do a lot of carry out just because I'm presuming only about 15 to 20 people could actually sit in the restaurant, but the quality of the chicken was really really high it wasn't that busy so the service was good That's it. read more

Some opted to chill and sip one of their various beer options while waiting. The staff were great! The food had some really high points and some minor missteps, but overall pretty smackin! The smoked chicken ranch sandwich was legit some of the best food I've had in sandwich form in a loooong time! The fries were ok, kinda greasy tbh. The boneless wings had supreme flavor, but were just north of chewy. The cooped up and crazy waffle sandwich looked good on paper, but didn't quite hit the way I thought it would. So, I waited for my third visit to write anything. My first visit, about a year ago, I thought there was no way it is consistently this freakin good. My second visit, about six months ago, I was also blown away. Third visit, tonight, I was blown away again. This is, simply put, comfort food done exceptionally well. Brisket? Amazing. Wings? We were driving through on a drive home from NH and I wanted to find something with good food but quick. Small place but we were able to sit my family of 5. Waitress/cashier was pleasant. I ordered the barbacoa tacos. I didn't eat the soft taco- just the meat out of it. It was good. A little spicy which I enjoyed. My husband had a brisket sandwich. He liked it. The sweet potato fries were really good. The Parmesan wings were flavorful and decent. The burger was fine too. For the prices, I didn't think the food was worth it. If you need a restroom, you have to walk basically through their storage and kitchen. Not ideal obviously. What was upsetting about this place is that if you have a bathroom that patrons are going to use , in the back of the restaurant, you NEED to keep the area clear and Clean! I didn't think this place was clean in the back and near the kitchen(although the seating area was fine). It Icked me out enough that I didn't really want to eat - I did because I knew I had 3 more hours to drive home but ehhh, not the best. Been on my list of places to try for a long time. My friend and I headed over a few days ago for lunch. I don't think I would have noticed it if I wasn't using gps. The Coop has a very small storefront so if you blinked you'd probably miss it....but, you don't want to miss this place!!! I ordered the bbq beef rueben sandwich with Mac and cheese and my friend ordered the savory wings with mac and cheese. We were told it would be about 15 minutes and they offered to bring it out to our car when it was ready. 15 minutes or so later it was delivered to our car in a shopping bag (nice touch). Everything was delicious!!!! Thankfully I had read the reviews and there was a lot of talk about the Mac and cheese and it did NOT disappoint!!! We loved it!!! My sandwich was huge and I could only eat half of it. My friend enjoyed her wings too!!!! Because of COVID restrictions there wasn't any sitting down allowed in their small dining area, but thankfully it's still nice enough to be eating in your car. Going Downhill! I used to love The Coop in terms of the food quality and consistency via delivery. We recently ordered delivery via DoorDash a couple of times over the past week for the family. Both times, we ordered the Single Coop burger. Per the order form which included checkboxes and the option for special instructions, we checked the box "NO PINK" and we reiterated to "PLEASE COOK WELL-DONE". Couldn't be clearer both times. However, both times, the burger showed up bloody rare and we had to dispose of it. We also checked the box indicating "no tomato" (to avoid the sog) but the Coop ignored this one of the two times last week as well. Is anyone paying attention in their kitchen? not so much. The DoorDash receipt reads correctly in terms of instructions so it's definitely The Coop's oversight. We will never return to The Coop knowing their kitchen staff/chef cannot read! read more

Great place to order delivery during the pandemic. We opted for delivery for about 20 minutes out. Delivery time was very on point--I was very impressed. We were very selective on what could stay in a hot container. Had an order of Combo Plate BBQ Dinner with pulled pork and Mac & cheese. Plenty of food for two. Food tasted great--even after a long ride. Also had an order of mango habanero wings. Requested extra mango habanero sauce on the side and was granted it. Greatly appreciate the great service. The ribs were so dry, despite being smothered in a think, sweet and sticky sauce, I really could have used a wood chipper to break down the grainy, over cooked ribs. The coleslaw had a misty gray tint and was barely palatable. Baked beans? It would take a lot of effort to screw them up, the beans were satisfactory. We have dined here several years ago and recalled a positive experience. Not tonight. Compared to other establishments, e.g. Texas Roadhouse, the price point and quality of The Coop paled in comparison. The ribs were not the most tender i've ever had but they were fine to me. Well flavored and the sauce was good. The baked beans were fine, nothing to write home about, as was the Cole slaw. My only complaints: 1. I asked for utensils. And with barbeque, a restaurant should know to add napkins, shouldn't have to ask for them. 2. I adored this place the first time I ordered from here but had a bad experience recently. We ordered their mac and cheese (so good), waffle fry nachos, baked beans, and arugula salad. We requested no meat for the last three dishes. Unfortunately everything was covered in meat despite our request meaning it couldn't be eaten. I actually called to let them know, and let's be real, bc I was pissed. At first, the person on the phone was apologetic and asked for our order info. After giving them our name, she said she had no orders for that name or our address. Our delivery came in a brown bag with a sticker that had THE COOP logo on it lmao. Unless my eyes deceived me, underneath the "THE COOP" logo said "restaurant and bar" so I said that and she said "oh no that's not us". At that time I thought I had made a mistake and called the wrong restaurant. Investigation online reveals there is literally no other "The Coop" in this area. Been to the Coop a couple times now. Always good quality and I especially like the wings. Haven't done a full BBQ dinner with them yet, but I'm sure it is coming. For the wings, they are perfectly cooked and have a great selection of sauces or dry rubs to choose from. Today I had the 12 wing order for $14. You get 2 sauces, and I went with the buffalo (regular Joe) and the General Tso. Super tasty. I got some extra sauce to use with my own pulled pork later! I'm writing this review after my third time trying their food. Today was the first time I stepped foot in the restaurant; my wife had picked up takeout previously. My first time I had the Jamaican sandwich, and it was excellent. The 2nd time I tried the Smoky Buffalo sandwich. It wasn't bad, but it didn't match the Jamaican. The smoky chicken in the Smoky Buff was dry, as opposed to the juicy fried chicken of the Jamaican. My wife was very satisfied with her chosen meals, too. Today, I tried the barbeque. It's a game changer to have a skilled BBQ chef in Westborough. I got a pulled pork platter with two sides: mac n cheese and sweet potato tots. The pork is perfectly prepared, a high quality cut, smoky, tender, and juicy, with a telltale pink smoke ring and a crusty bark. Enough sweet, tangy sauce, but not swimming in it. When I get a platter at a BBQ restaurant, I want enough meat left over that I can make a sandwich later, and the Coop delivered. As other reviewers have noted, the Coop is not cheap, but I feel the value is good based on the size of the lunch platter I ordered, which is also covering dinner tonight. (Granted, I gotta provide my own bulkie roll. Not a big deal.) Sides: the mac n cheese is among the best I've ever had! The pasta is cooked perfectly and the cheese sauce is salty, creamy, and delicious. Everyone knows fries die on the road, but I live close by, so I ordered the sweet potato tots, and they were still tasty when I dug in at home. The service was friendly and welcoming; it's not a big space, but it's comfy and you can drink a beer while you wait for your takeout. I met the head chef, a friendly gentleman from South Carolina, and he cordially talked BBQ with me for a few minutes. You can tell he loves what he does! The spice level on the sauce was superb- if you say fiery I should feel the heat. The service was good, I got dine in but just ordered at counter.
