I wasn't sure I had the right place after the move, but this is indeed tucked into the Tuttle VFW post in Auburn. This is set up like a lot of diners now. Lots of booths and high tops and the noise level wasn't too bad given how packed it was when I went. I went with my kiddo during a holiday, so the wait was a little longer than I was anticipating. However, the food was hot and fresh. The beans I had with breakfast were definitely not from a can. I will come back later and try the lunch menu. I love a local greasy spoon! read more

What a great breakfast place! Great food, big portions, friendly service. Busy! I got the western Omelet which was delicious. Comes with a choice of homefries or baked beans, and choice of toast, including a grilled bulkier roll (kaiser roll for thosr of you from out of town) if you like! My family and I have been to this restaurant many times and mostly enjoyed their food... We were even impressed with this place when they relocated to their NEW location; up until now (today 12/18/2025). Despite there being a sign that stated "No outside food and drink", my mother (a senior) has brought in her purified jug of water MANY times with absolutely NO ISSUES. That is, until today, when an ill-mannered, condescending, and unprofessional bartender came up to our table and told her that she could not have her jug there. My mom looked at him and was like "it's water" and mentioned how she always brought in her water with her... His response... She either brings her jug out the car or he will have to take her jug, empty its contents and fill it up with their water... Ummm...okay... a bit threatening! So apparently he seems to think he has a right to confiscate someone's personal property now? What is he - a freaking bar bouncer? With all due respect but there was a better way he could have handled that and he failed miserably with that one... Needless to say, (currently) we won't be back, nor will we recommend this place to others. To the owner (if you are to ever see this review; let alone care about your regular customers), is it worth losing customers over a JUG OF WATER?! If so, you deserve to lose your customers, and I can only hope you lose more in the foreseeable future. read more

A very average breakfast diner. The service was quick and friendly and prices about average. The food was average but just lacked something....not quite sure what. The omelet with all the meats and veggies had very little in it for all the things promised to come in it and was very overcooked. The stuffed strawberry cream cheese French toast had no flavor except for cream cheese and was very underwhelming although the portion was huge. read more

Service was fast. Waitresses were very nice. Food was ok. But we were mainly shocked by the amount of ham we received. It was huge and felt like it was ham with a little bit of sides. Please slice it at least 5 times thinner than this. Especially for eggs Benedict. The amount of ham spoiled the taste of everything else. And most of it had to be discarded. read more

This is a small cafe on rte 20. It is a seat yourself kind of place and although small we were able to find a seat. We arrived at 12:30 pm on a Sunday. The waitress was over within a minute of us coming in and taking our drink order and handing us menus. Just so you know, they only serve breakfast on Sundays. I was disappointed because we were there for lunch, but we just went with it. I ordered the bacon and cheese omelette . It comes with hash browns or baked beans and toast. They were out of baked beans and I don't eat hash browns so I can't rate. I ordered the sourdough toast and a "side" of the corned beef hash. The sourdough toast was very good. The portion size of the hash was unreal. It could have been a side for at least four people and it was very tasty. I took the rest home. The omelette was well cooked and was a great portion size. My bill with a drink and coffee was about $28. The sign said they were open until 2 pm but we were asked to cash out at about 1:15 and they were closing up shop around us. So I would say overall it it was a good experience. read more

Everything was super hot, fresh, and delicious. I love that they use American cheese for the omelettes and give an option of baked beans or home fries for a side. Ordered eggs and homefies along with a hamburg and fries. Asked for the burger to be medium but it was so rare the cheese wouldn't melt and the meat inside was cold. The scrambled eggs were burnt. The whole order got sent back because it wasn't edible. So many people have told us this was a very good restaurant but was so disappointing for us. We won't be back. Best home fries I've ever had. Had the SEC breakfast sandwich, it was good. It will be better when I ask them not to toast the bulkie it came on. The home fries though, WOW!!!!! This little diner is amazing! The portions were huge. Eight slices of French toast & a handful of bacon on the side. A handful people! Not just 3 puny slices. Go hungry. Two years ago was my last visit and I had a great meal with excellent service. Just this past week I returned at 8:15 am during the week , much to my surprise there were 3 customers present. I worked right down the street for six years 2013-2019 and the placed was always packed from morning to afternoon for good reason. Coffee was good , the quality of the food ingredients have gone downhill dramatically and the waitress is a bit " in your face" to get your order, to an uncomfortable point. I reached out to a person I worked with that went there frequently and he came right out and said " The food is terrible now" , full confirmation. I hope they look in the mirror and take the needed steps to remedy the issues , they really are nice people. read more

Nothing fancy here. Just good food at fair prices. We were there recently as a party of 7 for dinner everyone was happy with their meals. I love the fact that veggies aren't an afterthought here. I was pleasantly surprised to have fresh roasted squash with my meal and it was my favorite part of my meal. Only downside was the service was very slow. Our waitress was MIA most of the time and we ended up sitting for quite a while after we were done eating. But, we will return. read more

Best breakfast spot ever!!! Everything is always amazing. Super friendly staff! Sometimes they're very very busy. I haven't had the pleasure to dine in (I work nearby, so I always call ahead and pick up) Everything is always so good. Reasonably priced. Only had the opportunity to get lunch once and dinner once. Very delicious. Let my photos speak for themselves. Their specials are often creative and exciting. I almost always get a special. Sometimes, I've even been known to get two specials because I cannot choose. (I always eat it all.) Their barnyard breakfast sandwich is one of my favorites, luckily that's on their regular breakfast menu. Some of my favorites from the specials would have to be the bacon chocolate chip pancake, buffalo chicken (which I'm not usually a big fan of buff chick but they did a great job and the woman really sold me on it), blueberry chocolate chip pancakes- pancakes are always perfect. Meatloaf cheddar egg melt, crispy chicken bacon ranch omelette... I'm gonna have to look back at these photos and reminisce. Definitely a local favorite!! read more

We really like the food here! Pancakes are huge , chefs choice hash is awesome! My only complaint is the inconsistency in friendliness of staff. Not even sure if I'd call it a complaint. We've been several times and there's a noticeable difference between friendliness of staff during table service vs the seated at the counter. I'd recommend sitting at a table. At the counter it seems like the regulars are the only ones that get "regular service". We don't even get an answer to "how are you?" When we sit there... lol. Foods great though, we tend to go at time that we thing there will be a better chance of getting a table read more
