We were quickly greeted by a host as soon as we walked in. It was a Tuesday at noon time so it wasn't very busy, but I have seen this place on days where there's a wait and they are still just as attentive and kind. A server came to our table in less than 5 minutes if us sitting down, brought over our drinks and our food soon after. The food was delicious and very filling. The total came to about $26 which included coffee, a side of home fries, a bacon egg and cheese sandwich, and an omelette that came with toast and home fries. In my opinion, the portions were great and well worth what we paid. The overall vibe of restaurant was lovely. At the end of our brunch, the same person who sat us also offered to pack up our food for us. Only thing to note is I wish there were more menu options but it's still great. We ate here before flying out of Worcester. Everything was delicious. We ordered pork sandwich, Cobb salad, cheeseburger, and chicken wrap and we loved it all. The espresso martini was also great. We've been here a few times now and have always gotten a decent meal. Eller's is open for breakfast also, but we haven't tried that yet. We've tried their fish and chips which were very good (no hand cut fries though), burgers were excellent and we loved the French meat pie ((I'm pretty picky about that). The meat pie was $14.99 each. Just had a wonderful meal at Eller's after our son's Christmas concert. We've lived in Leicester for over nine years now and weirdly we've never visited. We arrived right at 11am when they opened. Lighting was cozy, hostess was friendly and we picked our own seating. My husband and I ordered a couple Bloody Mary's, they weren't the best I've ever had but they were good! Not watered down and well seasoned. They serve breakfast until 2pm which was great because my husband was craving bfast and I wasn't. ALAS he ordered the Bacon Jam burger! It was perfectly cooked, soft fresh bun, so flavorful and came with a side of fries and pickle. He's a big guy and just barely finished. I ordered a Caesar salad and side order of French fries. Salad was perfectly dressed, good portion and the dressing was so delicious, garlicky which I loved. French fries came out hot and were also delicious. I didn't get the name of our waitress but she was delightful and pleasant. Not MIA and not hovering over your table. She naturally took cues and collected our plates and brought the check over without us having to ask or wait around. I'm sad it took us this long to get here but glad to know we have a new spot that we don't have to travel into Worcester for. Overall very happy with our choice to stop in this morning and we'll be back to try breakfast after seeing all the delicious looking pictures here on Yelp. Scrambled eggs, French toast, pancakes, bacon, ham, sausage, two different kinds of homefries, biscuits and gravy, fruit, muffins and chef made to order omelets! The service was very friendly and speedy. The place has quite a few tables but was already pretty full when we got there at 8:20am. It is very family friendly and there were lots of kids - which my daughter loved. Their prices on their regular menu seem really good and we will definitely be back to try dinner some night. One of my favorite go-to spots for breakfast when I'm around the Cherry Valley and Webster Square area. The omelette and French toast is my go-to when I eat here. Home fries is great here as well for those not looking for something too salty. Great breakfast and ample parking. This location is very easy to find. I haven't been to Eller's in awhile and just found out they do offer breakfast buffet now which ends at 12pm. We are visiting a friend here in Leicester from Cape Cod and it's our first time. A local(friend's neighbor) recommend this restaurant so we tried it for dinner and for breakfast. There's a decent menu for both and we were happy with everything we ordered. We had the teriyaki chicken stir fry over rice. The flavor was great, however, the teriyaki sauce was a bit overpowering. Just a little less would have gone a long way. It's not a complaint, only an observation. Other than that, we tried the stuffed pepper soup, the burger, kids menu items, eggs Benny, chorizo Benny, an omelette and a couple orders of smiley face pancakes. Also wine for dinner and some fantastic mimosas for breakfast. Ellets recently remodeled by removing the 3/4 wall between the bar and dining area. The outcome is fantastic, an open floor concept with a super clean look. New food on the menu, we tried and it was outstanding. Service is always friendly, most know the menu inside and out. Owner is usually onsite and depending on the flow he checks in with the customers, this creates a good vibe and makes sure you have an enjoyable experience. I honestly have to say with the runny yolk mixed with the spicy hollandaise sauce with the egg and sausage made the entree amazing. The home fries, hands down had to be one of the best that I've had at any place, I would have to say it's similar to steak fries, just as thick and the perfect amount of crisp, not soggy at all! So my rating for this restaurant doesn't change at all, and I have struggled with even mentioning this. A small group of friends and I gathered in the bar for our yearly Christmas party at Ellers last Friday 12/6. We drank and ate appetizers for a couple hours. We had a modest bill of $140 which was mostly beer. As we do every year we try to give our waitress a good "Christmas Tip" We gave her $240 ($100 tip) and told her that she was all set and Merry Christmas. In past years we've done the same and our servers have always displayed some gratitude towards us. This year we didn't even get a thank you as she walked away. We stayed for another 10 minutes finishing our drinks and remarked that she didn't even seem to care that we left what we considered a very generous holiday tip. I hope we get a more appreciative server if we return for our party next year! read more
